03 f150 love my truck Allen explains everything in detail so there are no surprises . new Jasper motor, intake, radiator, vaccum lines, ac lines, brakes, and completely new front end. my old 03 f150 drives better than my wifes 15 f150 love his work love his service and will never let anyone else touch my truck. THANK YOU ALLEN KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. THERE SHOULD BE MORE STARS AVAILABLE FOR SHOPS LIKE ALLEN'S

I tell everyone I know to take there car to Allen's. He is very honest and does excellent work. Twice now he has fixed a repair that another shop wanted to charge me at least double for and/or could not figure out! I was lucky to find Allen and his team to fix my 2018 Nissan Titan platinum reserve pickup which was disabled by a nearby lightning strike. Allen's mastery of technology had me back on the road the next day. The dealer service could not fix it. Worth every penny.

Allen & his team quickly fixed my A/C when it stopped working 2 days ago. They called me with updates & let me know every detail as needed from start to finish. The difficulty of fixing my AC was cared for in a timely manner & accurately! They also did an awesome job fixing my last vehicle with the same great care! They are highly recommended!

Allen's is simply the best! I was travelling from Wisconsin to New Orleans when I could tell I had a bad wheel bearing. When I asked a local where the best auto shop around was. She said Allen's without hesitation. So that's where I went. Not only did they fix my car and get me back on the road with in a few hours. It was also great to meet Allen. I'm a pretty good judge of character and he's a great one. If I lived anywhere near Memphis I would go out of my way to go to Allen's. Here's the best thing about the entire experience. I am about an hour away from New Orleans and I get a call. It was Allen! He called to make sure everything was running good and I was safe. Great guy! Honest hard working American with some great stories while you wait. Thank you Allen's

My wife and I were on a weekend trip when my truck started cutting off. They were weeks behind on work but took the time to help me outThey had my truck up and running in a few hours. We were able to finish our trip and get back home on time. They were very friendly and reasonably priced. I highly recommend Allen Automotive.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I have used Allen's Automotive twice over the last year, and both times I have had incredible service. The first visit was for new breaks. (I received quotes from 3 places. Allen's had the best price and he made sure I knew about a rebate on top of that). I appreciate the fact that I am quoted timely and in writing, and I am not pressured to buy more than what is needed. The next visit I made was because of engine trouble and he worked me in that day fixing my car before I had to pick up my child at school. I was even able to connect to wifi and work while I waited. I really appreciate their prompt and friendly service. Allen's Automotive gets an A+ in my book.

This is a no frills workplace. Don't expect coffee and wifi. Allen's provides advice and service without the BS.

I couldn't not be more impressed with the level of professionalism over at Allen's. Allen had my car for the entire day last week, picked it up the next morning and still had some issues. I took it back to him and again he had it all day, but the car was fixed and he didn't charge me a dime since I had just paid the day before. He also called me on my way home to make sure the car was running good. Extremely nice guy. Will be back. Thanks Allen!

I was driving a 1970 Buick GS from DC to Memphis and encountered several car problems along the way, so I called one of my mechanics at home during the drive to see if he could recommend anyone. He did some research and ID'd Allen's Automotive. Andre (at Allen's) was courteous and professional when I called to schedule, and Andre asked if I could be there at 8 AM the next morning in the hopes of getting me back on the road by the end of that day. Very kind, very thoughtful.When I arrived, Andre introduced me to Allen so we could go over the problems in detail. Older cars are different than modern cars, and as older cars become more rare, the mechanics with the knowledge to work on them become equally rare.Thank god there are still professionals like Allen who have that knowledge. Since my dog and I were stuck on a 90+ degree day, he started by making sure we were comfortable in a small, air-conditioned room that was mostly used for storage. Very kind, very thoughtful.I outlined when work had been done to the car that related to the problems, then we went through the order in which the problems occurred as well as mileage over the course of the work and the issues. Allen was extremely thorough as he determined the exact problems, and didn't rush to conclusions for their possible causes. This process included everything from pulling out the driveshaft for analysis, calling the transmission manufacturer, and he even called two mechanics who previously worked on the car. There were many more details, and each was carefully assessed.Within 2-3 hours it was determined the best solution was to trailer the car back to DC for repair. Allen could have done all the work for a complete repair, but the warranties on newer parts and previous labor made that too complicated. He could have patched it back together and put me on the road, but that made him uncomfortable because the transmission might have had internal damage that could strand me. After Allen advised me not to have him do any repairs, he helped me find a trailer company as well as a rental car.I'm from out of town, and I could have been taken. Instead, Allen took care of me. After watching him and his team work, I'm confident they can figure out any car, so I highly recommend you let them take care of you.

Your car is in great hands at Allen s Automotive! They are very friendly and attentive to detail. They follow the book and repair your vehicle to OEM specifications. They recently changed a timing belt and water pump and a few other things for me and did excellent work. Their work also comes with a great warranty if anything should happen regarding the work that was performed.

Would have to say that Allen and his team are world class all the way around. I found Allen through the NAPA care network and he was the only one who actually figured out what was wrong with my truck. He is a honest man that stand by his work and goes above and beyond what is called for. I have been talking up his shop after my first encounter and will be using them for all my car needs.

I were looking for a shop on goggle to fix my truck and I decided to call and try them out. I thank God that I did because they did an excellent job on my vehicle. Mr. Allen said leave your vehicle and let us find out wats wrong and he did and fix it fast. My vehicle runs like it's new. Very reasonable prices and great work and I have a Cadillac truck. So if you are looking for a good mechanic shop please go to Allen's Automotive Center.

I got a 2000 Jeep Cherokee (used) about three years ago, and since we got it we've been having trouble with the air conditioning. I've taken it to get the air conditioner serviced probably eight different times because the air conditioner works maybe 20 seconds at a time, when it decides to turn on. We always had problems with it blowing almost lukewarm air or on very hot days just flat out hot air. We've gone through easily over $1000 having people repair just about every part of the AC setup, including the compressor. We were in town this summer in May and it was so hot we were desperate to get it fixed. Allen offered to take it in and work on it for us even though we didn't have an appointment, so that we could get back on the road (TO TEXAS) comfortably. Allen managed to figure out in one day what 6 different auto shops in two different states haven't been able to figure out and fix it in a timely manner, and fix another issue we had with hot air blowing on the drivers legs when the engine is warm as well, all in only a couple days and got us back on the road. For the first time since I got my car I have cold air conditioning and I am so thankful. Allen really knows what he's doing and I would highly recommend this shop!

Allen was able to identify my car's ignition problem within just 3 hours, and got the car back to me later the same day. This was after another garage spent a week to unsuccessfully fix the problem, and four other shops did not have the proper diagnostic equipment, or flat out did not want to work on the car.

Allen's Automotive is an outstanding example of a place you can trust for your automotive needs. Not only did they helped a mutual customer new to the Memphis area, They went above and beyond in assisting an out of state shop with prior repairs. Kudos to Allen V.

I rarely take the time to post an online review, but I was so pleased by the great service I received at Allen's Automotive I felt that I should.Some background - I was passing through Memphis en route from Georgia to Colorado with my truckcamper RV when the boost on my turbocharger disappeared. My truck is a 1998 Dodge Ram 2500 with the Cummins Diesel engine. Without the turbocharger you will be way down on power -- with a camper in the bed you cannot proceed and need to get it corrected.I first went to another service shop. They told me that my engine was shot and needed to be rebuilt or replaced to the tune of $10K-$12K. Shellshocked and stranded, I called around to find a shop that could do the work. I happened to call Allen and asked him to find me a replacement engine. It was tough to source one. He called me back at the end of the day and said he was still working on it. At that time he asked about the previous diagnosis -- after a bit of discussion he questioned the diagnosis and asked me to bring my truck to his shop the next morning.I arrived at 9am and Allen went to work with his techs. It turns out my truck doesn't even have the original turbo -- a previous owner had "hot rodded" the truck with a non-standard turbo that didn't even have a wastegate. This caused lots of head scratching but Allen persisted. (I had nowhere to go so I was in his office the whole time.) He researched the turbo and called some turbo expert friends when he hit a roadblock. Anyway he and his staff kept digging and eventually discovered that the intercooler intake pipe had become disconnected, hence no boost. I had to pay for a few hours of diagnostic time but that is a fraction of what this would have cost if I had to replace the engine. And, it also would have been easy for him to just say "you need a new turbo" (to the tune of $2-3K), put in the new turbo, discover the disconnected pipe at that time, and still charge the customer for the unneeded turbo. But I found that Allen doesn't operate that way -- he doesn't "throw parts" at a problem -- he wants to figure out the cause of the problem before he figures out the fix.This is getting too lengthy....Bottom line if you are in the area and need your car repaired I would strongly recommend the staff and owner at Allen's Automotive.

Mr. Allen is very professional and keeps you updated about your vehicle as he and his crew are working on it. He will call you to let you know what the diagnosis is and let's you know immediately if he encounters any other problems while working on the original diagnosis. I will continue to bring my vehicle to Allen s Automotive for all service needs.

Alan and his team have gotten multiple vehicles up and running for me that other shops and dealerships could not. He lays out the problems he finds and what he did to arrive at the correct fix. I've always left with an understanding of the service I received.

Charged double what the part costed from NAPA. Wanted to charge $100.00 for some channel locks that can be bought for $12.00 at auto zone. Rip off artist for women beware!
