Our room (118) had a musty/smoky/stale odor when we checked in. We recently stayed in room 107 and didn't notice any odors. Not so bad as to require a room change, but definitely noticeable. Understand hotel is finishing major remodels, but new renovations shouldn't have odors..one disappoint is that prior to renovations, pets were allowed.. Since renovations, there is a not pet policy (service animals allowed) When we do have our pet, we have to make accommodations' down the road at a newer facility that allows pets.

The rooms are small but clean. Has had a more recent remodel. They could use some new pillows but other than that, we were happy with our stay. All of the staff was very nice and fun to chat with. Whatever they are paying the maintenance man, it is not enough. We saw him every day constantly cleaning and trying to make improvements. That s definitely some help they should take care of. He seemed to take some real pride in his work.

I wanted to give this place a good review because the room was cute and the woman who check me in at night was very kind and helpful. But once I got in the room, it all went downhill. The air was barely working and the room was extremely hot the entire time we were there. The front desk was associate was kind enough to offer us the room next door but the air was the exact same so we just stayed in our original room. I keep a digital thermometer with me when it gets really hot outside for the sake of my son for reasons exactly like this. I checked the room throughout the night and it was 80 degrees the whole time even up into the morning when we checked out. When I went to check out, I asked for a partial refund because the room was so hot my 5 year old son and I barely slept and the front desk morning associate was very rude and acted like it was a task to help me at all. She told me to call back in 15 minutes so she could call her boss and see what could be done which I did so after I left and she informs me she went in the room and it was freezing cold and 61. I said yeah it s set at 61 but at no point was that room 61. She said she took a video of the room to prove that, like how will that prove what the actual temperature is in the room? Lol. She talked to me like I was stupid and hung up on me twice. So needless to say I won t be staying here ever again if I m in this town. Oh and their floors were super disgusting. We had black feet and looked like we had tracked in mud.

I checked in very late and the receptionist was nice. She even provided water bottles for me. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. There was absolutely no soap of any kind...not even hand soap! Thankfully I was actually heading to a camping festival so I had all the necessities but I thought that was crazy! Not sure if this was simply accidental or they just don't provide hand soap but if not they def should make sure every room has some!

The people here host us Isha Yoga Center visitors. The rooms have soft, quality beds, nice linens, great showers and quiet accommodations. Although the pool is currently closed and the place is under renovation it looks wonderful. One thing I observed is that not all of the people attending the Isha Yoga Center events treat the employees as human beings equal to themselves. I would request anyone representing Isha Yoga Center, and all others as well, speak kindly to the staff and make requests instead of demands. This is not acceptable behavior from people who call themselves mediators or enlightened beings. I would assume those who act this way are not practicing yogis. Please be respectful and treat others as you want to be treated. This would be a 5 star hotel in India due to the cleanliness and the upgraded facilities. This is a very beautiful, quaint and affordable place to stay near the Yoga center.Rooms: Clean, soft beds, renovated, microwave, hair dryer, ironing board, refrigerator.Nearby activities: There's a save a lot nearby where you can purchase things to put in the fridge and use the microwave if you would like to eat in. There's a wonderful nail salon nearby called Sun Nails.. I highly recommend them. I went there to repair one of my nails and they did not want to charge me although I insisted on paying.Safety: This place feels very safe there zero issues with noise from the road nor any issues with safety whatsoever.

Great stay at the Best Western. Clean, nice beds. There are not enough blankets, toilet paper or towels in the room for our family of 4, though. Had to get more of all of them. Pool and hot tub won us over, no other hotel in town offered indoor pool and hot tub. Tv in the fitness room would not change channels, but it worked. Breakfast ends at 9AM, too early in my opinion.Service was excellent. Super nice people behind working the desk. Very accommodating. For the money, its well worth the stay!

Room #116, 4 nights. So there was an odd smell in our room. I tried so hard to ignore it but it was bad. That first night, it was hard to sleep. I went to the dollar store down the road for room deodorizer and disinfectant wipes. That did the trick. It took another day of scrubbing but the smell pretty much dissipated by the end of day 2. No problem. We also had some very tiny bugs in the bathroom. I wiped them up as I saw them and they weren't an issue. The rooms were very nicely appointed. The sheets were crisp and clean and all the towels, except for 1, were clean. The slide lock on the door to the adjoining room didn't work but the bolt lock seemed fine. The AC, TV, fridge, and lighting all worked fine and were clean.I didn't use the iron, hair dryer, or coffee pot. The shower was good and hot. There were ZERO bedbugs and roaches, as reported in other people's reviews. It seems to be located in an undesirable area but, not knowing the city, I can't be sure. There was a lot of activity outside the rooms one night that made me feel unsafe so I opted out of using the laundry room and just locked myself in my room for the night. When I went to use it the next morning, there was no change machine, so I just went to the laundromat down the road instead. From what I did see, the laundry room was very clean and bright.I didn't have the chance to try the breakfast. The reception area is very nice and clean. Check in was fast and THE ENTIRE STAFF is welcoming and charming. I would come back ased on service alone. Everyone who works there is fantastic.I went to the lobby to check out and discuss an issue with my bill, but I waited for 10 minutes and no one came to the desk. There was no bell to ring for assistance. So I just left because I figured they were busy and they'd call me if there were any issues. No big deal.**I did not mention the bugs, odor, or anything else to staff, as these were small problems that I resolved myself. Except for the door lock, I was going to bring that up at check out.

Just be aware that there is a refundable $100 incidentals charge if you have paid for your room in advance. Your receptionist may get hostile if you express concern or say you were not aware of said charge. In fact, you may be told you are welcome to find another hotel! The owner is correct in saying other hotels require this charge. However, none have ever told me, if I don't like it I can leave! The rooms were clean and the hotel seemed pretty new. Unfortunately both the toilets in my room and my friend's, were stopped up upon arrival and there was no one available to repair in the evening. We were offered a plunger and told maintenence could come the next day. I was told the owner himself came out the day after, but my toilet still didn't work. Once I asked to move, the clerk was very helpful and quickly got me a new room. The pool was not working, but I was pleasantly surprised to see a hot tub! Finally, the most endearing quality about this hotel is its breakfast attendant. She is an absolutely delightful woman who makes you feel like you're eating breakfast in her own kitchen. No wonder everyone calls her grandma!

Rooms were clean and cozy, the property grounds are fairly large with gardening, play ground for kids and all the amenities like ice, pool, restaurant. The person checking us in was amazing and gave us tips for visiting Yosemite and we were thankful for his advice to go early reaching Yosemite south entrance by 8 am. The hotel itself is only about 30 min to the park entrance however there is about another hour drive to the Yosemite valley so be aware depending on what you want to see. Breakfast was very nice and included everything you would want.

I was surprised by how great my experience was! Room was spotless, front desk service went above and beyond, and the breakfast was great. I ve stayed in more expensive hotels that weren t this good.Room was clean, bed was comfortable, microwave, refrigerator, blow dryer, and steam iron in room, heater worked well.

Driving thru town without any reservation and stopped in for the night. Half the hotel is being renovated so we did get a newly renovated room and we were very surprised. Very nicely done. Beds were great and comfortable. Very clean. Only issue we had was the smoke detector went off at 7am and couldn t get it to stop even with taking the battery out. Called front office, no maintenance to help so we had to go and get a battery to fix it. Our one day to sleep in a bit but did not happen. Not a great way to wake up. Would still recommend to stay here.

Checking in the service was awful, thankful that we only saw that woman the first night. Would have left, but everything else was booked. Beds were clean, other receptionist was amazing and helpful. People in next room banged into the wall all night, talked loud, yelling, loud music. Heard the police come to their door around 4am. Didn't know rooms were outside access rooms, did not feel safe. Breakfast was great, but will not stay here again.

There were 4 guests and we arrive to two towels. The bathroom was dingy. The room itself had a musty and mildew smell. The towels also had that smell. The laundry room needed a cleaning as well. The hotel was under renovations which I found at check in.The positives, my son and I enjoyed the pool, it was small enough but still roomy. Hotel staff were very inviting, quick, and courteous!! Both day and night staff were exceptional. I stayed from July 31 till Aug 2.

I don t usually leave reviews on places, especially bad ones because I understand we re all human, and we all have our days. But I would rather sleep in my car until Beth isn t working than deal with her overly dramatic whining. Sheila has been amazing, every time I ve stayed here, beyond helpful, kind, and went above and beyond to ensure a positive experience. However, Beth made me feel like if I even asked her for a towel she would have a mental breakdown right there on the spot, that s just unprofessional. Plain and simple. Aside from Beth, I have no other complaints about this place.

Update: Got a call same day from Crystal. She was very nice and confirmed that I will get my credit due. She spoke to owner and explained his father's behavior. I got my credit. Happy in the end. I am still leaving prev. msg, incase someone else experiences this.Update: I went back here and stayed in a new room. Policy is to inform by 4:30 pm day before. Informed the front desk on time that I'll leave two days sooner than planned, March 17th instead of 19th. She made a note. I got my copy of receipt for charges till March 17th and left for TX. I check my card and its charged upto 17th and then two more days. Called on Friday and I was promised owner will call back. Called Saturday and owner said my son will take care of this Monday. We can't refund, if you have problem go live somewhere else next time. I am fighting this till the end! What a rip off!!The first time I stayed there, got furnished room. 4 stars for that. Pillows are horrible. Three weeks later, I stayed again and got older room. That was disgusting. Meeting Grandma Juanita in breakfast bar was the best part. Sweet woman!

The staff was very friendly. Nice that they recognized COVID restrictions. The room was clean. A little lean on toiletries and the fixtures were outdated. Room also could have used a 3rd wastebasket. The television only had cable (maybe dish??) There were plenty of channels to choose from. Since it wasn't a smart TV, I couldn't cast from my phone to watch streaming services. I would stay again though. It's worth it for decent customer service.

The first nonsmoking room they gave us completely smelled of Marijuana, and although we have kids, the woman at the front desk told us it shouldn't and actually hesitated on giving us another room?!? Then the 2nd room, had a roach in it, hair in the bathtub, and soap scum on the shower tiles. Then, although they do try with the breakfast, the only thing that is good is the eggs and gravy. The orange juice tastes like lemon water, they water their syrup down, the biscuits are the lard filled pre-made, even the apple juice is watered-down. I honestly do not think this place is worth $100+/night, i have paid less and have had cleaner rooms without the "breakfast buffet".

The staff is super nice. All they had was a smoking room. So I had to buy stuff to combat the smell. The bed was hard as a rock sadly. But other than that we had a decent stay. Laundry facility was clean and easy to use. One of the better places in McMinnville.

Worst room service ever. We reserved this room a 2 weeks ago and they said they need another 4 hours to clean the room. We waited for 4 hours but it took them half a day to clean. When we got our room and it smelled like sai (aka green eggs and ham). Would not reccomend unless u like bedbugs on u. The room quality is extermely high aswell the lamps are 127,000 lumens. The refrigator lowest tempreture reaches absolute zero. The toilet seat is made out of gold built by Ambani. I am good at saying sattire.

Everything about this hotel was great except the pool was out of service due to renovations. Soft bed, great pillows, great breakfast, and super friendly people, especially the lady that was cleaning the dining room that struck up a conversation with me when I went in for breakfast. It felt like I was talking with an old friend.

Decent hotel. Breakfast was typical continental. Hotel staff were friendly. Only thing was the hotel has body wash and shampoo in a dispenser in the shower to use. There was no conditioner offered at all and the body wash was completely out. Other than that, room was clean and enough space in the king to put our pack n play. I love that they have a microwave and fridge in the room.

We loved our stay here. The room was clean, bed comfortable, and the pool area was awesome. The pool and spa were both warm which was a great plus. One thing we noticed which could help others is if they could put towels in the pool area or the gym or at least put a sign up letting others know there are pool towels available at the front desk. The breakfast available here is great plenty of options drinks and food wise. The staff was great very helpful and friendly to us. I highly recommend this location to all looking for a at home feeling stay. You'll love it.

Our stay started out poor and only continued. Walked in the bathroom and knew we had made a mistake staying in this small town when I saw some kind of live large bug in the tub, one dead on the bathroom floor. Sorry I didn t take a picture of the bugs. I did take a picture of the sink that would not drain and the dirty tub/shower. The sheets were paper thin and a worn out mattress. Thankfully, a friend said during the pandemic we should take our own pillows because those were worn out too. Glad I took our blanket too. I disinfected the room and cleaned the Toothpaste off the mirror. That was the First Impression and it didn t get any better. Asked for more towel and washcloths and was treated like a thief and told I had to walk down and back up the outdoor stairs and give the front desk my dirty ones to get the clean ones and only would get replacements for the exact quantity I returned. My Sam s Club towels are a lot better than these hotel ones so why would I want them. The A/C unit sounded like a semi truck was in the parking lot every time it came on. Needless to say, we didn t sleep well. This is the second worse hotel I ve ever stayed in. We will stay in Murfreesboro next time we want to attend a concert in McMinnville.
