Very knowledgeable and accommodating. Did a great job changing my daughter's starter!09/20/2023. Just picked up my wife's car from being serviced. Another job well done. Reasonable rates and reliable service. One cannot ask for more.

This is a great mechanic shop. Austin helped us fix up my brakes and wheel bearings on my 2013 CR-V. He drove around with us to listen to the issue and made sure everything was fixed correctly. He's very honest and they have fair pricing and great service. We'll be bringing all our vehicles here in the future and I'll tell my family and friends to go here too!

I was thrilled to find some people who could finally fix my Ford Focus. This place is a family business. The young man (Austin) was the one who worked on mine. He is an excellent mechanic who just doesn't stop until he gets it right. Thanks to him, I can use my air conditioner and my car no longer overheats. I highly recommend this place.

I recently brought my car in for service, my wheel bearing was going bad and needed to be replaced. I could not be happier with my experience! It's hard to find customer service like this in our day and age. They confirmed the issue, fixed the noise problem by replacing the hub, and made sure it was fixed correctly and went out of their way to address some other concerns that I had.If you are looking for trust worthy mechanics, that truly value the customer: I'd highly recommend Tipton's Garage. Austin is an excellent mechanic! The fuel pump went out on my Husband's truck, which is a very complicated repair. He got him back of the road again in no time. He is very fair and honest. Very poor service. Never returns calls. Over 1 year later and they still have my car. I am very frustrated and angry. Something was wrong with my engine and so he said I needed a new one and needed the money up front to be able to start the work. I used to call weekly to check on it and he would avoid me and even lied 1 time when he answered I knew it was him, the main mechanic/owner has a very distinct voice. I am a single mom of 3 that worked real hard to come up with that money and to not have a car or an answer all this time later is very unprofessional. Every time I call he says he will call his insurance to check where they are at. If anyone has some sound legal advice I would greatly appreciate.

Top notch service. Nice guys. Treated with great respect. Talked to me like I was a person not a mechanic or a dollar sign. In and out. No problems. Austin went above and beyond. I'm very impressed. I found a new shop i can afford. Thank you.

Tiptons Garage is amazing. They are friendly professionals that get the job done and will keep you updated with your vehicle throughout the process. I have taken my truck here multiple times over the past year and have received the same treatment each and every time. They are fair good people that do not jack up the bill they give you fair prices and tell you if there is anything else you need done to your car before you come pick it up. I HIGHLY recommend Tiptons to anyone in the Knoxville, Maryville, and Alcoa area.

I strongly recomend that No one take their vehicles here . I called and ask about getting a clutch installed they said they could get to pretty quick if I had it towed there so I had AAA drop it off there and it was total chaos from day two . They said it would be ready by end of week a month and a half later still no car . They would tell me something different each time I called then they called me on Sunday and told me to bring 550:00our there but I didn t and went next morning they tried to get me to leave 650.00 that day but I wouldn t and told them I wasn t comfortable doing so . They kept telling me lies about it and I ended up having to get the police involved . They told officers I could either bring them 700.00 out there or I could bring them 1100.00 out there and they would put my transmission in the trunk of my car ????? Well I wasn t about to pay them 1100.00 for putting my transmission in the trunk and get my car so I took the 700.00 to them they lied again and said they ordered the parts from Kia dealer and they would be in 5 to 7 days I went to dealership myself and ask and they said that Tiptons had only ordered a 30.00 part and they couldn t get in touch with them to pick it up . I called tiptons ask about when car would be ready they said we are just waiting on parts to come in I knew that was a lie but they didn t know I had talked to kia already I then told them Kia told me the parts were never ordered. I told them I would keep checking with Kia myself and I did and was told they came the next day and actually ordered them . Kia delivered parts to them and call me to let me know and then and only then when I let them know Kia had contacted me about delivery did they finally put my car back together. I swore if I ever got my car back and away from them I would warn others that they are liars and dishonest people they just string u along trying to get more money out of you . I was at the point I was ready to seek legal action . Please do not leave your vehicle with these people.

While on vacation we had car trouble. I found this location on Google Maps and made my way there. The mechanic was extremely friendly and the service was great. They fixed the car extremely quickly and the price was very fair.

Service is terrible. Mechanic lies about the work needed and has no clue ..just wants to do all repairs he can to jack the price up on you. Never quoted an estimate. No return calls. I would never recommend this mechanic to anyone. If u drive in with a flat tire he would probably start with the fuel pump. Never go there.

Great service, warranty and a fair price. They were very help full, gave me a ride home and picked me up when my car was finished. This will be the service center I go to from now on.

I had an appointment at 11 AM and I drove 30 minutes from home and NO ONE was here. Another angry customer with an appointment was here too. I would leave no stars but then I couldn t write a review. You all better have a good excuse for not having one single worker present.
