I am a month late on my review, but Rick does really amazing work, he replaced my transmission in my car, told me it would be about 7 days and he was really quick and got it done in about 4 days. He s a very nice man to work with and honest upfront! I ll definitely be taking my car to be worked on by him when I need it serviced!

Rick was very knowledgeable of Transmissions, he explained everything he was doing as he worked on my transmission fluid and filter change. He was very personable and his price for his time and service is very reasonable. I dont live in this area and he made time to meet me at his other shop and get my truck fixed. If I lived around here I would recommend him to anyone.

I live in Knoxville, TN, and do almost all repair work on my vehicles myself. However, my son was visiting Motlow State in Tullahoma when his truck broke down so I had no choice but to find a local repair shop. Rick was professional in answering all questions, honest and upfront about pricing. After getting the vehicle to his shop, we found out that it was something else that went bad and not the transmission. Many other mechanics would take your money and do the transmission job anyway. He and I remained in communication while he repaired what the vehicle actually needed and the job was completed within a few days. I would recommend Rick to anyone who needs mechanical work, especially transmissions.

Rick is a genius!En route from Nashville back to ATL, we decided to stay in Manchester overnight after we noticed our truck was acting weird. Someone at our hotel gave us Rick's name and number. He spent time reviewing our codes with us and told us what he would do. Wish there were more honest experts of his caliber. We are thankful to have met him!

Does good work, has very poor customer service skills though. Needs to learn how to speak to people professionally. Raised his voice with me several times for no reason. Also tried to keep a part I paid for, and charge me twice for an item. Not sure if it was intentional or if he was just confused. Either way, poor communicator. He also left because he said his wife ordered him food. He acted like my paid business was a burden and yelled at me that he "had other stuff to do." The work he did was fine, he just needs to be a behind the scenes mechanic and let someone else handle talking to customers.
