A nice gentleman at a local Part s store ran a diagnostic test when my Check Engine light came on early this morning. This auto repair business was referred by him. After agreeing to fix an on-average 2 hour repair, they had my car 7.5 hours and did nothing to it. Told me they saw the engine light on and the diagnostic test run earlier was probably correct. When I called to check progress 6 hours later, I was told they thought my scheduled repair was made for the next day! After reminding the office person of our conversation that morning she told me they would try to get it done that day. 2 hours later still nothing. When I picked the car up she said she d get my charge sheet and key. I told her there would be no charge as they had not done ANYTHING to it, and I laughed as she asked me if I d be bringing it back the next day. Ummmmm, NO. I strongly do not recommend this business!

Don t recommend to anyoneHe will fix one thing and mess up with another thing .And they ll tell you total something else on phone and when u go there it ll be lot higher then what they said

I had the unfortunate experience of undergoing the absolutely atrocious and disappointing service from this establishment. I originally brought my car in for a simple wheel alignment which should have been a easy and painless fix, but it ended up becoming a complete catastrophe. I was told that the repair would only take around an hour. It took 3 days. 3 days. It absolutely boggles my mind. The very thought of being without your car for 72 hours because of a 1 hour repair is completely unacceptable. Finally, after the extensive and agonizing wait I finally received word that my car was prepared for pick up. However this company s incompetence didn t stop there. Upon entering my vehicle. I immediately noticed that my dashboard was practically glowing. My sensor is likely damaged amongst other potential issues. But perhaps the most significant detail is the fact that the repair I wanted was never even done. They had possession of my car for 3 full days and they still failed to provide the service i was paying them for. This is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to my experience with this establishment. Every waking moment I spent dealing with these people was downright torturous. I severely regret my decision to provide this place with my business. If I ever experience car problems again, I wager it would be a much safer bet to fix it myself.Service: Wheel alignment

Do not take your car here! These people are a rip off! My husband took his car there and told them what was wrong and they made him pay $70 to get his car back and didn't even do anything to it except steal a part off of it! Also, they were going to charge him &1200 to work on it and told him that it needed all this other stuff put on it! Took it to another guy and he charged my husband $80 and it was fixed!Service: Air & cabin filter replacement

Used for years, happily. In the past year, the only investigation done was what I suggested and, then when I had an insurance claim that used after market parts, they led me down a false trail saying shipment is on the way when it wasn't and then, later, asking me to find and purchase the parts but STILL pay labor charges. Kept my vehicle 6 out of 10 months. No longer a good source for mechanical work. Note? Figuring out what's wrong and how to replace it is NOT my job. That's WHY you get paid.

I would not recommend them to anyone! They lied to my Son several times, they don't keep their word on anything! He has gave them about 2000.00 to fix his truck, gets it back and it still death wobbles!!! They told him they would align it for free and he picked it up and they told him it didn't need aligned, and it death wobbled on the way home! He took it to two other places and they told him that the front end needed replaced after Mac's "supposedly" replaced everything. You can not trust anything they say!!!

We drove our truck in there about 3 months ago.l for a sticky throttle. they still haven't fixed it. They never called us about it, we've had to be the ones to call and get an update where we were always given a run around. The first few weeks we were told they were looking for parts to fix it, they then told us that if we ordered the parts they would fix it for $200, so we ordered the parts and about 2 weeks go by now they are saying it wont start, and told us if we gave them $100 we can have our truck back.... How is this fair? We drove our truck in there with a sticky throttle and now they want more money after messing it up to where it dont even start!DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!***RIPOFF***

Took the car to Mac's on 12/20/16 for a diagnostic for a miss. Aaron informed me that it was the coil on cylinder 3 and 5 and that he had ruined the boot on the coil on the rest. Tried to quote me to repair the boot that he tore himself. Explained to him that he ruined the boot and it wasn't bad and did not require ripping to get out as I had taken them out before without ripping. Aaron was very rude and still charged for the diagnostic even after two good coils were put on and the car still missed (his summary of what needed changed)! I have taken my vehicles there for 7 years but will no longer be using them i recommend you do not as well.

I came from out of state, got exhaust noise. Found flex pipe rotted through. I made appointment with Mac s and dropped off the van. The repair was done well, at a fair price, and the shop did not try to upsell work that I don t need. I definitely recommend Mac s.Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

Went in twice. First time was for free information on a VW beetle that was not shifting properly. I was given information for free that allowed me to fix the problem. I went in for an oil change & filter plus a parking brake adjustment. The price was substantially less that what I had been paying at another area facility. The current owner was the head mechanic at Mac's since 1988. He recently bought the business from the retiring owner. It is apparent that the knowledge and attitude to succeed is there.

Since the new owner has took over this place. It is a joke. No matter what you go in for they will say it needs something else. Brand new parts put on and they say they are completely wore out. They are crooks and would not suggest them to anyone. This new guy will ruin the name of Mac's after the originals owners was the greatest.

I gave it a 3 star because I made a appointment get their she said it be about 35 mins to a hour before I'm done that was 9 am how about I got my car after 11 am the next day that bothered me a bit after being told that I would have my car before they closed other then that they are good at their work they did welding underneath where my muffler was coming undone few places put another pipe on where it can't be fixed and the pricing was not bad at all I would send people their to get work done but just let them know plan on the next day before you get it back

All of the gentlemen are very nice and friendly had a problem with the lock on the cover on our truck and they took care of us. We will definitely be back.

Good experance at Mac's. 4 wheel alignment within an hour. They give you a before and after chart of your alignment. Nice people .

Since changing hands, this repair shop is terrible. It used to be the only place my family would go but now it is terrible. Over a month and still couldn't get a part...my dad ordered it online and got it in 2 days. Unprofessional and bad business.
