I used to do business with Greg Helms for years, I was a loyal customer until he put two bad tires on my Honda Pilot and I went to three different tires stores in Knoxville and they all told me that these tires were bad tread and almost bare and the tire was not the right tire for my SUV!! I called the next day and set up an appointment with Mr. Helms to trade in the tires and upgrade to new ones and he knew I was coming! So I drove from Knoxville to Madisonville and I ran into his wife at Dollar General and she confirmed the appointment also! I drove almost an hour to get there and he WAS NOT THERE!! He close up his tire shop two hours early so he wouldn t have to fix the problem!! She played stupid when I went back to Dollar General and said she didn t know where he was! I called and knocked on the door for twenty minutes and he ghosted me!! Do not do business with the devil and his wife! They are both crooks and they will get back the bad KARMA they deserve!! I wouldn t recommend him to anybody!!He needs to be shut down and put out of business!!

I priced 1used 255/35/18 and they wanted $100 mount and balanced. A plus and one other priced 2 from $80-$100. A used tire for $100. I can actually buy a brand new cheaper quality tire for $100.00. I wouldn t recommend if you are looking for 18 s.

We treat our customers right. We recently had a customer come in on January 5th to get 2 used tires on the front of her car. A week later she called us saying her car was shaking and said she had been to 3 different tire shops to have them look at her tires that we had put on and they told her that we didn't put the correct size tire on her car when we actually did bc we still have her old tires here She didn't come to us first until a week after she had them on her car. Her boyfriend is saying negative things about us and he probably don't know the whole story.

Way to expensive and when he was balancing the tires he only did it once and never checked again after putting the weights back on. I won't ever go back here again.

I highly do not recommend Greg Helms t put used tires on any car this guy ripped off my fianc� she paid $140 for bad tires that didn t even match the car he stiffed her when she called to have him fix the tires he said he would than proceeded to clothes up shop early on her he knowlying knew she was on her way and screwed her over I don t at all recommend this guy a con artist

Tires are expensive people, this man had me 2 great used tires and installed them for me. Hard working man and inexpensive! Quit searching and go see him. Great job!!

I would recommend this place to anyone. Prices are Great. Service is Wonderful. I was left in a bad situation with my grandson,I raise. I didn't have much money. And had a really bad tire. Gary was able to find a used tire for me at an affordable price. He truly saved me. Thank you so much. God Bless

I went by on a Sunday afternoon and bought a tire for my truck. Mr. Helms helped me out after hours. Very good service and the price was reasonable. I'll definitely be back and I'll tell my friends to check him out for their tire needs.

What a good man, you can tell right off the bat how humble he is. He's reasonable and bought a tire for cheap, I was expecting to pay more. He was going to give it to me for free but I wouldn't have felt right. Will definitely go back.

The man who owns the shop is a great guy. I m a nurse that works at a nearby nursing home, we work 12 hour shifts and it s usually 8/9 o clock at night when we get off. One of my friends that work in Cleveland had a flat tire when we got off shift. No other tire place was open and she didn t have a spare tire. I called Helms Tire and the guy who owns it said he would open up for us. He opened up at 9:00pm and helped us out.On another occasion, I had a flat and he opened up on a Sunday.Highly recommended!

Went there this morning at 10 am he was not there called him made an appointment for 4 pm sent my wife & son ( who is autistic) because I was working at 4pm I called him nine times he never returned my call and never was there to sale me any tires and my wife & son called him 7 times he did not return her calls so we went to Walmart in Athens TN

My little brother has lived around here for quite a few years, so I generally trust his opinion on businesses around here! When I needed tire work done, if sent me out to Helms, said if tap a GOOD business man, friendly and treat ya fairly! So a week ago went out there and told him my brother sent me out there, that he would take care of me, long story short was charged $50 dollars to dismount 4 and mount 2! � if got to keep t2 wheels and a tire! I didn't think that was to good me a deal! But Wayne said, now that if knows me and who my family is, he'd be sure to do better! So I took a set tires out to have new ones put on! When it was all said and done, he profited 4 decent looking tires and still charged me $80.00! HAPPY with his business practices at all! It's the point that being fair to some and not to others is my problem! That man Will sell the tires that I gave him and profit !80 - $100 btw selling them to someone else! If charged me $80 for saving 4 now tires on wheels, and kept the other TIRES! I won't in back to him, if 746539 have atleast knocked off !20 for the set me for tires I have him! ! My dad owned a has station growing up and it was a full service Shell!! If later sold an bought a garage! Never advertised or created his own 4/5or 6 star rauing! Justtreated his customers fairky and equally! He wasn't RICH, but if was always busy, and all me his business adventurers was by word of mouth!

Got a tire from him Xmas eve because he was the only open. I ve not even had the tire for a month and it s already going flat . I m having to air it up almost every day. Please save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else . He refuses to even fix the problem

Helped me out on a Sunday when everyone else was closed but I won t be back unless I had to got way over charged for 1 used tire payed 25 less for a better looking tire at A plus tires when there open I d go there first.

This man is a gentleman and a God send. My abusive boyfriend left me stranded here after having popped my tires. The gentleman gave me tires for free and put them on my wheels for free. I intend to come and pay him tomorrow or Saturday, but he was extremely kind and generous. He has restored my faith in humanity! God bless you sir!

I'm giving it 1 star because I drove 50 miles to get there and was told I was 2nd in line. Well 2 hours later the man sends a young guy out to my car saying I would just have to leave and come back tomorrow. I would've been 100% with gin saying that at the very first but no, he waited 2 hours...

This man sold me a bad tire I had to replace it again within a week and a half the belts were already starting to break in this tire when he sold it to me I paid 60 bucks for a used tire he sold me this bad tire and put my family in danger by having this tire on my car I would not recommend this business to anyone and I had to dispose of my own tire that he replaced instead of him doing it most tire shops will do it themselves he charged me 60 bucks for the tire plus I had to dispose of the old one that's not a business that's not good for business and it's a very bad business do not go to this place he will sell you a bad tire he brags that he's open 7 days a week 365 days a year but he charges outrageous prices for used tires they're bad and he sells them anyway.

if you need a used 15 inch tire. helms tires is the place to go. we were in and out in 15 mins 1 tire mounted balanced out the door

Paid $60 for a used tire the next week the belts were breaking and wires were popping out causing a blow out. i have 2 small children
