Community Garage is a great mechanic. My husband (who recently passed) started taking our vehicles here a few years ago. They're very honest about what they can or cannot help with. They are honest about pricing and parts. They are very communicative with what is going on with the vehicles and what they are doing to figure out what is wrong. Neither my husband or myself have had a bad experience here. They're very kind and I highly recommend them. Thank you for being kind and helpful!

Very satisfied! Haven't had the service you get here for a very long time. They performed a tune up on my 2019 1.5 liter. with 80000 mil on it. I wasn't expecting the difference I experienced. They even checked tire pressure by their own will. Awesome job!

BJ and the entire team at Community Garage of Madison is amazing. I just recently moved to the Madison area, and had several pretty poor experiences going to Toyota North for service. I gave the Community Garage a call, and they were able to get me in just a couple days later. My car is running smooth as butter now, and I had a wonderful experience. I will be taking my car to Community Garage for any future repairs or maintenance. Thrilled with this business!

My daughter's car presented with a check engine light the day before she was to be headed back home after visiting. I called and spoke to BJ and he told me to go ahead and send her over and that they would take a look at it. They got it in right away and diagnosed her car, called me and told me what repair was needed. Community Garage gave me the peace of mind that my daughter would not have any issues and she was able to make it home safely. I cannot say enough good things about this place!! The owners Brian and Carol are some of the most kind hearted people I have ever met!! I got stranded on my way to Florida and community garage was the only place I could get to look at my car with the holiday weekend coming! I dont know what I would have done without them that day!Absolutely highly recommend!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

These guys are fair, honest, and not creepy or condescending!! I randomly blew my tire and had to slow-crawl to the closest place to me since I didn t have a jack with me and was driving on the rim. I walked in, they got me right in, never made weird comments or gave me any type of look. They were sweet and the environment was calm/not chaotic. They put my spare on for me and it took 25 mins since they had other customers as well, and at the end THEY DIDNT EVEN CHARGE ME!!! that was very kind, I didn t expect anything free but they were so sweet. I don t like to be in situations like that by myself typically but I felt at ease even when I walked in and had to sit around for a little. Looks like we found the only mechanics we will use from here on out.

This is the first garage/auto mechanic shop where I genuinely trust the guys here. They are straight up, honest, and explain their diagnosis and I never feel like I m being jerked around. Absolutely highly recommend this place

I've been taking my cars to Community Garage for the past 10 years and have always been happy with the service. Just had valve cover gasket and tune up on my Pathfinder and a tune up, belt and motor mount on my wife's Accord. Honest, fair pricing and fast turnaround. What more could you ask for!

We were on the way to Indy. Our air went out on the car. The garage was two weeks booked BUT they stopped what they were doing to help us. They installed a new air conditioner in our van on the same day. They also charged us the going rate, nothing extra. We were well pleased and would highly recommend to any locals or out of town people in need of an honest and fair priced mechanic shop.Service: A/C installation & repair

I hit an animal and something was dragging under my car. They were honest and told me I need to go to a body shop to get it fixed but they were able to stop the dragging. Very nice people and they don t try to rob you.

My family has been taking all of our cars there for years and we enthusiastically recommend them to anyone who asks. They are honest, fair, and great to deal with. They have saved us lots of money over the years and have always done great work. Having a mechanic you can trust is invaluable and I completely agree with all the other 5-star reviews here.

This is a great garage, with great people working it! They aren't the kind of place where shady things are done to nickle and dime you; they are trustworthy and helpful professionals that tell you the truth in a way that makes sense whether your a car person or not. When my engine blew put, they even tried to help me find a new car. So far several members of my family prefer to come here just because the service, and workmanship is excellent. Everyone should have a trusted expert on the things in their life, and Madison Communtiy Garage is that trusted garage for me and mine. I'll take every car I get over to them.

Community Garage is the best tucked away prize you could ever discover. They perform excellent service and has completed work on several of my personal and company vehicles for 9 years. I recommend them to anyone that is looking for an honest mechanic, friendly customer service and personable service. High Five to Brian and the rest of the crew for performing outstanding work. I have been a customer of Community Garage for several years. I have had work done as simple as oil changes to the replacement of the complete engine in my truck. Brian and his family are the best. They have always gone the extra mile to make sure everything is correct in the work they do. I have recommended them to several folks at church and they have also experienced the same excellent service.

We were vacationing in Nashville and about to travel back to Tulsa, OK when I found a problem with my serpentine belt on my 99 Suburban. BJ came out and looked at the belt and saw the power steering pulley was not fully seated. He also saw fresh PS fluid and when he had me start it up, I had a pressure side hose leak too. Even though they were busy, he got me right in, fixed the issues and had my family and I safely on the road to Tulsa... at a very reasonable price. I can t say enough good things about this garage.

I'm in Nashville on a Construction Job and being 250 miles from home it's hard finding someone Honest enough to leave your vehicle with and get a Good Job servicing your vehicle.I have a 350 Diesel Dually and I needed front end work on my truck. Thought it was a Front end Alignment and set of tires and I'm Done.BJ and his Dad checked everything and told me what the truck needed and gave me a price. They fixed my truck and it drives now like it did when truck was new. New Complete Front End and $4000.00 later and these guys did a Fantastic Job and I would Highly Recommend their services and Believe Me it sounds like a lot of money but they replaced everything and did an Outstanding Job, Great Communicating on a Daily Basis and explained everything in great detail.Thanks to Everyone at Community Garage for the A+++++ Service and you can Trust These Guys with your wife or daughter .Chuck

I've used these guys a couple times, and my parents have used them a lot in the past 20 or so years, and we've always had real good experiences with them. They have fair prices, and they fix the stuff honestly. Never went in for something like a starter change and they said we need a new motor lol. The only downside is they usually have a few days wait time, but that's pretty typical of good garages. Brian is usually the one I've spoken to and he's very knowledgeable and friendly. I absolutely have sent them business from friends and coworkers who were looking for a garage, and until something major happens to change my mind, I will continue to do so. The only thing I can add is the only reason I haven't used them more is because I usually fix my own stuff. That being said, the "bigger" jobs, or ones I couldn't figure out, they fixed in a timely manner and, again, with fair prices.

I've taken my car here for a few different things over the past few years. Staff are happy to explain everything thoroughly, I never feel like they're upcharging me, and they're consistently kind and friendly. I'll continue to bring my car here!

One of the best places to take your car for work. I have taken both of our cars here and have received excellent service time and time again. If they don't have what you want (I wanted a specific brand of synthetic motor oil for my car) they will get it for you.They're also top notch on checking for any major issues. Twice now I've brought in my wife's car and twice they've spotted serious issues - a slow leak on a rear tire and a *broken* battery post!They not only do the work you want, they also do some routine inspections of key components without charging you for it.They have a great crew there and the prices are reasonable!

I am from Michigan and was stranded in Madison with a broken rear lower control arm. The folks at Community Garage got my vehicle in right away, and kept me updated every step of the way on where the parts at and when I would be back on the road. Everybody was very friendly and offered excellent customer service every step of the way. Community Garage really bailed me out and I would recommend to anyone!

I have been a customer of theirs for years. They always do a great job in a timely manner; always polite, well mannered, and willing to work with your schedule. Owners Brian and wife Carol are on site every day. Son BJ also works there. Their mechanics have been working with them for years, and stay up to date on training and education. I would not go anywhere else.

I love Community Garage. They have always fixed my problems and their prices are competitive. In fact, they were backed up once and I took my vehicle to a dealer and they could not fix my car. Took it to Community and issue was diagnosed and fixed in 2 days! Now have a third car so that I can always wait until I can get an appointment!

These guys are so awesome and my experience as a customer here couldn't be better. The back seat of my car got stuck in the upright position and I really, really needed to lay it down to fit something in the back that afternoon. I popped in on a whim, with no customer history with them, hoping they could just force the seat release to give. Brian came out, in the midday summer sun, and tried for 30 minutes to get it to give. It wouldn't budge, but I was still desperate to get the seat down, so he unbolted the seat completely and showed me which part to order to fix it. I tried to pay for his time that day, but he told me to just bring it back later to fix it and I'd fix him up then. I went back for the repair a few weeks later, plus an oil change, and they were quick, the repair was done inexpensively and they now have a new loyal customer.
