Absolutely recommend!!!My wife and I just moved to the area from out of state this past month. Before too long we noticed that our wheel bearing was making a helicopter noise and needed to get replaced. This is our only vehicle currently so it was important we get this figured out soon. We had no idea where to go, or who to trust for help.After calling around to many places, and looking through many reviews online we found Mr. Auto Repair. Everyone else that we called was either booked out, or generally disinterested.Immediately from the initial phone call Michael was more thorough, genuine, and helpful in listening to the details of the situation. We scheduled an appointment, and he ended up getting us in even earlier than what we expected.We brought the car in on our anniversary and took an Uber out to eat while he worked. While we were eating, we got a call that there had been an accident at the shop and that one of his fingers has been seriously injured. They took him to the hospital, and sent another mechanic out to continue the work. I m the midst of his own personal injury, Michael did everything he could to focus on getting our car completed and taken care of as soon as possible.When we got the car back, he gave us a great price and everything was fixed as it was meant to be. We are so thankful we found Mr Auto Repair and appreciate his kindness and professional care through this experience. Would recommend him to anyone!

I am new to Knoxville and I compared a number of quotes nearby before choosing MR.Auto. I got a used Acura TL which needed bearings, rotors/brake pads replacement (loud bearing noise and strong brake pulsation that resurfacing wouldn't fix). I can't be more pleased with the decent service and the reasonable price I got here! Mike is very punctual, friendly and he responds to calls/messages fast. I can't vouch for big jobs such as engine or transmission because I haven't done any here. But if you are looking for a regular mechanical job such as suspension component replacement, I'd say give him a call and get a quote, you won't be disappointed by the price and service quality. I would recommend him to my friends in this area.

Michael at MR Auto was an awesome guy to work with. I called him up 20 min. before he was supposed to close and he still let me come in for my AC and an inspection when many other shops turned me down. Real friendly guy.. fast.. and great price.. couldn't be happier. Ill definitely be back to see him. Thanks again bud

I got my truck towed here because it wouldnt start 1990 gmc sierra 350 2wd . Anyways great experience here and will be back. Fixed my distributor controle module for 110 dollars. And showed me the failed part. Honest, fast, and friendly. What more can a customer ask for? Also told me what it cost before I came to pick it up. On my way to get the truck I asked to check timing with timing light and it runs perfect and smooth. Thank you! I never leave reviews for anything but had to for Mr. Auto Repair.

Michael Raines at MR Auto is an honest, reliable, affordable mechanic. I am a single woman that drives an older car, and he takes extra care to make sure that I get the best repair for the lowest price.

I highly recommend Mr Auto. They go above and beyond. I had them work on my gmc Denali and it was back on the road the next day.Very honest and dependable work ethics. I will definitely use them for all my future automotive needs.

Very freindly, great price, however, when he replaced a hub assembly on my pontiac, he neglected to put the axel nut back on. When I removed the wheel a few months later, I noticed it was missing and he had already lost it. Seems like a good guy but I will not be bringing my vehicles back, this mistake could have cost me and my family dearly.

Really great mechanic and really knows his stuff. Very affordable and dependable. Has done major jobs on my vechicle and always has done an amazing job. Hands down the best mechanic around this area. Highly recommend!!

So I need help so bad with my car and found Mike at Mr auto repair and he help me with my car a day was fast at his work,, brought my boyfriend to. One also he is a Very caring person and will help and do his best at his work,,, will always come for his help with my car

Called about having a shift solenoid replacement and the guy didnt even know the location of the one needing replaced and just trying to blow smoke.told me that the valve body needed to be removed..it dont you can but not absolutely a must.doesnt suprise me all repair shops just out to price gouge and rob you

Well, I lucked up finding mr. Auto. Went in for something small that I couldn't tackle myself. He went above and beyond helping me out and than ran the codes for me on my truck. I will be using him from now on. Very friendly, trustworthy and professional. Thanks again!

Does great work from bumper to bumper and top notch service and will always go above and beyond to make sure his customers are happy just had all 4 ball joint and inner and outer tie rods replaced along with an idler arm for a very reasonable price and could never get the service better from anyone else around town
