I have been going to Attkisson for years for car maintenance and repairs, and they are absolutely wonderful! They have worked on my car multiple times and have always done a fantastic job, whether it is a minor or large repair. Prices are very reasonable, and all of my car repairs have been completed both thoroughly and quickly. They treat you like family and are very accommodating with my difficult schedule. They take time to explain the issues with your car and any required repairs, and don't pressure you into getting more work done than what is needed. I have always been extremely satisfied with Attkisson and highly recommended them to anyone in need of service to their vehicle! There's no shop I trust more for servicing my car!

Great service at a good price. Tired of the usual mechanic run around? Talk to Matt and his friends for an exceptional experience. They will clearly explain what's wrong with your vehicle and the options to get it back in tip top condition. Quit wasting time and money on anyone else.

Hands down best mechanic shop in our area!! They are so thorough and Patient with explanations in detail of what your vehicle needs. Super honest place and best of all the shop dog "mika". Definitely recommend this them for all your car needs.

Mike and Christy are amazing! Took my 2010 dodge ram 2500 in to them to be serviced..they were very prompt and thorough with everything. Office staff is great and also the door greeter Mika is ohh so cute!! Great people and family oriented business. Will definitely take any and all of my vehicles to them from now on! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! If you don t use attkisson automotive you are missing out! For TWO years I had issues with my AC not working (vents not working at all), I took it to multiple shops where I spent hours upon hours waiting & nearly $1K for them to never fix the issue. I finally took my Hummer to Attkisson & they re-did the entire electrical system to get it back to Hummer specs & EVERYTHING finally works! Not only that, the car wash broke BOTH of my side mirrors & they put on the new ones for me for a good price. I will NOT be going anywhere else after the run-around I got from the other shops! Not only are they amazing at what they do, but when you have to wait on your car for a long time, you have an awesome dog, Mika, to make your wait much more enjoyable! This shop is honest, fairly priced, and timely. They ve almost always been able to squeeze me in within 1-3 days of my call, are more than happy to thoroughly explain the diagnosis and back up their work. Only one time (of many, because we ve brought in several different old cars) has my car come back with an issue and it was due to a faulty replacement part. I had it brought back in and it was fixed IMMEDIATELY. They were so gracious about it. I highly, highly recommend them.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes, Air conditioning

This place sets the bar high to all other shops! I have a small fleet of vehicles that operate nationwide. We happened to be in the area once and asked for a hand with an issue that 2 other shops couldn't figure out. They had us back up and running in less than a day. BEST stop we have ever made! Their facility is clean well kept and organized, their Team is professional, courteous, and most important they are PASSIONATE about who they are and what they do. They stick to their timeframes and update you throughout the repair. They make it easy via text, email, or phone what ever works best for you. Since that first interaction they have regularly worked on our vehicles. I literally reroute vehicles to their location for service because of their care and reliability. We recently moved to the area and were looking for a trustworthy, honest, affordable mechanic to take care of our older vehicles. It was worrisome to not know anyone and trust them with our van and truck. We found Atkisson and are so grateful we did! They are trustworthy, honest, affordable and quick! I have such peace of mind driving my "older" van knowing I have this place behind me if I never need anything! Amazing People!!! Mechanics are the best in town! If you are looking for an honest, trustworthy, down to earth place to get your vehicle looked at/serviced, this is the place to go!! I have had nothing but STELLAR experiences with these people, they have NEVER done me or anyone I ve recommended there wrong! I recently went into their shop to get my car looked at and they were super understanding of my situation and made me feel valued. 100% recommend this place over ANY place I ve ever been to! AMAZING PEOPLE AND AMAZING SERVICE!!!!

Fantastic family owned business! Very welcoming atmosphere and comfortable waiting room with wi-fi. The owner showed me around his shop and it was literally clean enough to eat off of the floor. The technician did an exceptional job replacing my brakes and rotors. Prices were reasonable and everyone that worked there was friendly. Literally like the chick-fil-a of automotive service.

Amazing and friendly staff. Knowledgeable and explains things thoroughly. I brought my car in not expecting to get it fixed today but they got me in/out within a timely manner. The entire staff was awesome. My son and I had the best experience with Attkisson auto today. I think we met the entire family lol. The owner Mike was their when we went to pick my son s car up. He heard us talking about his radio that wasn t working and he started asking my son questions. Mike recommended what brands to look for and which ones to stay away. He went and looked at my son s car and told him what all he would need to get and this wasn t the reason we took the car in. He then took us on a tour of the workshop and it was exceptionally well kept. Mike told us about each mechanic and their experience. He went above and beyond and he has earned a new client. I have been taking my vehicles (both personal and company) to Mike and the Attkisson team for several years now. This time I had the pleasure of working with Matt. In a world full of companies chasing every dollar they can get, it was very refreshing to be advised that my issue was likely covered (either partially or in full) by a manufacturer warranty beyond the standard 3 year/36,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty. After a few calls the manufacturer confirmed what Matt told me, which will likely cut my out of pocket costs in half. This customer first approach is why I tell anyone who will listen that Attkisson is the place to go for your automotive needs. I cannot say enough about how much respect and appreciation I have for everyone at Attkisson Automotive . I am a Realtor that puts A LOT of miles on my car and they go over it each time I come in for an oil change and are so detailed to make sure it is good so I can get back in the road with no worry about my car not being up for the task. They now take care of all of my family s vehicles and I have referred several clients to them as well. Attkisson is also great about communicating, appointments, and their prices are incredibly fair. Check Engine light came on. I ran my OBD and pulled codes. Brought my Tundra to the shop. They cleared codes and couldn't get them to duplicate initial codes. Didn't charge me a dime! Great company and I will be giving them my business going foward. Highly recommend.

Found Attkisson online when I needed a pre-purchase inspection for a used vehicle that was 3+ hours away from me. Not only were they friendly and helpful, they did a great job inspecting the vehicle & taking detailed pics of it for me. The mechanic also spent time going over some things I needed to know about the new diesels since I'm upgrading from a 2003 model. Based on this interaction, they would be my new regular shop if I wasn't so far away!

I've been here twice in the past 5-ish months (separate issues) and absolutely love the work they do! They're so kind, personable, and very down to earth! And they really explain what is going on with your vehicle. This time, i went in for a brake job and found out that i needed quite a bit more work than i was expecting. They were up front and honest about the issues that needed to be fixed first and which ones could wait. They do a fantastic job of keeping you updated on your vehicle's status! I will continue to use them as long as they're in business!

I absolutely love this place! I wouldn't go anywhere else. Their prices are comparable to others around and they always have my cars done in a very timely manner . They're honest and very knowledgeable, and everyone is so friendly and patient, which is not very common at most of your shops. If you're not taking your cars to Attkisson Automotive you're missing out! Mike and Christy Attkisson are the best around!

Absolute Perfection as per Usual!!!! My husband & I have been going to Mike & his Crew for years & we REFUSE to let ANYONE ELSE work on our vehicles! Christy Is absolutely Amazing at what she does there in that office. She is Mike's right hand when it comes to their business running like a fine oiled machine (as my grandpa used to say).I've never had a shop explain in such great detail as to what is going on with my vehicle & break everything down in a way that I can understand. You WILL NOT be dissatisfied with the 12 service you are going to receive!! You guys Rock!!!! Edit: 2/1/22I think it's ridiculous that Google will only allow you one review per business per Google account because I think I should be able to leave my own opinion of my personal experience with you guys as much as I like... Soo...... I guess from this point forward I will just have to continue using the loop hole & edit with dates so people can see just how AMAZING you guys are!!! This goes out to every person who has ever awaited that dreadful call from the shop telling you what is wrong & what needs to be fixed on your vehicle. Attkisson is built different than your average Mechanic. Their Mechanics are the Most Honest, Hard Working, individuals I've ever came into contact with. Took my car in for brake service, never been here before. Squeezed me in just before Thanksgiving weekend. Believe I have found my auto service place for life! Professional, personable, honest and caring. Very clean shop. Took the time to explain what was done. Brakes are as good as new! Thanks Mike and Logan!

My 16 year old Forester finally kicked the bucket on me, and I took it into this place to see if she was worth saving. Unlike all the other shops I've been to in the past few years, these folks were totally open and honest with me about the true state of my car. They even gave me a free ride home and treated me more like a friend than a stranger. Really good people.The other shops always cared more about making some labor and part money off me than actually helping me make good decisions for myself - they would only tell me about PART of the problem and then have me shell out some money for it even though the issues were way more extensive (because they knew but if I had to spend more than $400, I wasn't going to get the repairs made because the car isn't worth that much anymore and I ain't rich!). Tyler and Mike at Attkisson Automotive cared more about fully informing me, thus giving me the agency to be able to make a smart financial decision for myself: Keep my cash to put down on a used car that will last me much longer. So that's what I did, and I got the truck I've always wanted. What's more, when I found an F-150 i loved, they let me test drive it over to the shop and Mike (owner and Ford expert!) gave it a full inspection for FREE. Once again, he was totally straight forward with me, giving me all the tools I needed to make a good decision. Throughout the buying process, I called Tyler several times to ask about the cost of small repairs for the truck i wanted, and he called several dealerships and parts manufacturers to get me all the info. And he didn't ask for a dime. These folks treat you like a neighbor, not just a customer. As long as I'm living in Knoxville, they'll be the only shop I'll give my business to. And you better believe I'm telling everyone I know about this place.

Everyone at Attiksson is very professional and kind. I had to bring my truck in because my a/c was working intermittently. I brought it in on Friday and scheduled to come back on Monday for the repair. I brought my daughter in with me on Monday and they were very accommodating and got the work done quickly. Attkisson Automotive has been my main mechanic for some time now. I needed some brakes and rotors replaced some months back and they scheduled me in 1 day after my initial call. Just recently, yesterday, I called needing a steering wheel coupler replaced. They told me to drop it off that evening and had it done today at 1:00! The service is consistently impeccable and they are as fast as they are accurate. Very fortunate to have such a reliable automotive establishment so close to home.
