As everyone knows, buying a used car is like rolling a pair of dice *within* another pair of dice that you're also rolling. That it to say, it's almost all luck. Well, we were really blessed to have stumbled upon Jimmy Cogdill (at Cogdill Motors). He had the car we were looking for, which was the initial motivation for driving an hour to his lot. Then, upon arrival, he was super friendly, not pushy *at all*. We took the car out for a test drive, and when it was done, we decided to buy it. Jimmy was super friendly, talked us through the entire process, was open and honest and transparent about what the car had/didn't have and what our best options were for getting things changed, modified, gussied up, etc. If I could give Jimmy six stars, I would.My only wish is I was buying a new car every week, because if I was, I'd be buying them all from Jimmy.

I have known Jimmy for about 20 years and have bought 4 cars personally from him when he used to owned his dealership in Oak Ridge TN. My family has purchased too many vehicles to count from him then. Jimmy is an outstanding guy. He s a very honest and trustworthy guy. I would recommend his dealership to anyone. If your looking for a car, truck or suv please go see him. If he doesn t have it he will try his best to locate one for you.

Couldn't have bought a car from a better bunch of people. They where great to deal with. They did everything they could to get us in a vehicle. They didn't stop till we pulled out in our new to us vehicle. Definitely would recommend them to anyone looking for a nice vehicle. And will definitely do business with them again. Thank you so much for meeting our needs. Y'all are awsome.

Great place. The two guys there really care about their customers and they have the nicest cars. If you are looking for a low milage car that is in great condition you need to check this place out. I visit this lot twice a month for my job and I see how they treat their customers and they are always happy when they leave. When I do need another vehicle I will definitely see them first.

I'm 58, and I've bought a few cars over the years, and usually find the process to be unpleasant and stressful - until my recent purchase from Cogdill Motors. It was a positive and no stress experience.They had a low-mileage, like-new Kia Sorento like I'd been looking for, at a price 3-5 thousand dollars less than the dealers in Knoxville where I live. Jimmy Cogdill went the extra mile to get my deal approved by the bank and by the time the deal was done he felt like an old friend instead of just another "used car salesman." Thanks for making it happen for me Jimmy.

Great people. Unfortunately we we're unable to come to a deal but they helped us more than I have ever seen from a dealer. They explained everything throughout the process and have great looking cars and trucks. I highly recommend you check them out before looking anywhere else.The gentleman we dealt with is going above and beyond to help us find the car that fits our needs and fiances. He is currently still looking for us a car and is staying in touch through the wait.

Jimmy Cogdill and Bill Owens were wonderful to work with when buying a car or selling a truck. They were professional, but put you at ease through the whole process. They said what they were going to do and did what they said. I would highly recommend them! Thanks to you both!

Bill Owens the general manager is great very easy to work with and the owner and the whole team has went the extra mile to help me surprise my daughter for her first Jeep. The owners wife even made her a bow thank you guys so much for a great experience. Great experience great bunch of guys I would absolutely recommend coming here to buy a vehicle.

I have bought 3 vehicles from this lot and have been nothing short of amazed with the quality and help from everyone at the dealership it s not like other dealerships the owner is there on spot to answer any questions and to also give you the best deal in Tn I won t ever go anywhere else thanks to everyone Jimmy, Chuck, James, and Jeff. All great people and with the same outlook when you pull in thanks a lot guys!

My Best friends was there just moments ago and I was on Video chat talking with her walking her threw the steps to car buying. THe car sale's man was nice at first. She made an offer on the car she was SO excited about and was ready to buy a car today CASH! SHe made an offer sales man went and talked to the owner first and the owner said No. (witch is to be expected with the first offer.) that told her that they would absolutely not come down on the price. The Owner busts into the office they are in ( Mind you I am on the video chat with them) and says let me show you something. and he is almost yelling at her. She gets up to walk away the owner has her cornered. This is RIDICULOUS she was just asking questions No reason for the Hostility of the owners of this SMALL town dealership that is open ridiculous hours and day. She would have bought that care regardless of the price if she loved in enough but because of the way she was treated she walked away from a car that she loved that had been on there lot for 169 days and on carguru for 299 days obviously there is something going on with this dealership and why they are treating people this way is beyond me. I love cars and Know a lot about them. I have never been so appalled by a dealership than i was when i saw how they treated a young woman buying a car that she loved. They should be shamed of their actions.

A small, family owned business with a wide array of vehicles to choose from. Everyone is beyond friendly and will work with you to find the right vehicle and the right price. Nearly a year after purchasing a vehicle, the vehicle is performing beyond our expectations without issues. We will do business with Cogdill Motor Company again.

Suv jumped time sent it to get a new belt and water pump, sent a list of all that had been done to it.So even before it was complete I get a call saying they almost have it back together enough to start it (not) and now I need a new motor because I have bent rods, I tell them no and I will fix it, they say you can do that I say yes the list I gave them was everything I did to it anyway got it back with broken motor mounts unplugged sensors and out of pocket over 2grand from them. Find better place to take your car.

Fantastic people! Chuck and Dustin checked in with us without being pushy. They are super friendly and informative. I highly recommend checking them out. If/when we get back into the market, we will definitely revisit them.
