BEST MECHANIC SHOP IN NW TN! A1 Auto has worked on 3 different vehicles for me over the last 2 years. I recently had 2 different vehicles in there in the same week for maintenance and repairs. These guys are honest & do great work at a fair price! Jenn up front is friendly and always helpful, and the owner Gary seems to really care about his customers and treating them right. If you need maintenance or repairs go to A1 Auto, trust me you won't regret it!

My F-150 started shaking and the engine wouldn't go dead but when I pressed on the accelerator it would do nothing. I would have to turn the truck off and restart it to get it to go a few miles. I was told to go to A1 Auto repair by Don's body shop which was only about 3 mi away from where I was. I went in and spoke with the lady at the front and she told me it would probably be Friday before they could get to me which was 3 days from now. I asked her could they at least just plug something in and see what's wrong with it. They did and they saw what the problem was and told me that they could have that fixed today. They not only have excellent customer service, they are also excellent at their job. They not only repaired the problem I had with my throttle on my truck within 2 hours, they also did an oil change and replaced my air filter that needed to be replaced. It was very fast service and I cannot tell you how pleased I am that they repaired my truck so fast.If I now break down within a hundred miles of their shop, I will have my truck towed there if I can't drive it. I had a mechanic in Memphis Tennessee for a long time that I would only let work on my vehicles. He retired. A1 repair shop located at386 Azbill RoadLexington Tennessee38351 is now my go-to mechanic.I am new in Lexington, Tennessee and was afraid of going to a new mechanic because you just never know if somebody's going to be honest with you or not.They were honest with me and gave me a fair price and took very good care of me.I was really afraid that this was going to cost over $1,000. If I went to a mechanic that wasn't honest it probably would have been between one and two thousand dollars. I am going to put a picture of my invoice for all to see because I am so happy with these people and would recommend them to everyone.We are Jenny's Sno Cones ones & Wow Food opening our new business here in Lexington, Tennessee.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair, Oil change

My car kept shutting down between Memphis and Nashville, so I had it towed here. They found and fixed the problem and had me back on the road within 2 hours! The staff was amazing and gave me a wonderful experience during a stressful situation. Highly Recommend this shop to anyone in the area!

I've had to have each of our vehicles worked on at Danny Z's and as for now there work is top notch. They aren't like other places that say leave your vehicle and it's there for days and you have to call and check on it. At Danny Z's you drop it off and they'll work on it the next day and then your called saying it's ready but of course every problem is different and could take more time to fix. Point is they're working on your vehicle and you'll get it back fixed faster there than anywhere else and it's fixed right!! It's done and you won't have to worry about it.As far as cost,they're aren't any higher or cheaper than anywhere else. But it's gonna be money well spent when they work on your vehicle!!

ALWAYS have a great experience with Danny Z's! Everyone is friendly, they have always called me to let me know what was going on and how much it was going to be before they got started, and prices are always reasonable. Most places I have dealt with do not go above and beyond like these guys and almost always have to go back because there is a "new" problem. Since I found out about Danny Z's, I haven't taken vehicles anywhere else!! Thanks for the great service!!

Broken down anywhere near Lexington or Jackson, TN? Go here! I was out of luck and these guys took care of me- they got it done very quickly too considering the job they had to do. They treated me like family and made me feel at home, and not like the stranger to their town that I was. They went way above and beyond service that I needed or anticipated. Family owned and operated too. They work on diesel trucks, mine is a 2000 F-250. Everyone was fixed right and they even found issues that I didn't know exsisted but were very dangerous if they hadn't fixed them. Great people and great service. 10/10, go here if you have any issues with your truck.

My daughter and I were driving to Virginia when we broke down on I-40 in the middle of TN. I called around to repair shops and the only ones that answered was Danny Z's. Two women on the side of the road, you have no idea how wonderful it is to just have someone pick up when you call; much less say they would be happy to help us. I had the car towed to their garage and they were wonderful and supportive. Turned out the car blew a piston; not exactly repairable since we were no where near our home; nor was the car worth the cost of repair. They actually took me to a car rental place so I could pick up a car, they stayed open late and helped my daughter and me move everything from one car to the rental car, and sent us on our way. The whole situation could have been so much worse; but their kind and caring attitude made it so much easier for my daughter and me. They were honest and fare and went out of their way to take car of our car and us.

Danny and the staff at Danny Z s are extremely knowledgeable and extremely fair. They will only fix what is needed and not try to screw you on any extra parts even though this shop was busy, I had my car towed in and his staff had me out the door the same day. You won t find another shop like this anywhere.

Alternator went out on I-40, called and Danny him self said he could get me in. Got the tow with the wrecker service they suggested got me immediately in and out before the quoted time. Friendly staff, reasonable prices, 5*

Scratches on our vehicle that were not there before it went to them, then tried to put the blame on someone else. Also told us that we paid a tow bill that we didn t know we had to pay and if he was to take it off the bill, he would just raise the labor costs to make up for it. He was very standoffish when confronted about the issues.

Lexington Tennessee, you have a GREAT place to get vehicle work done! Got stranded and Danny, with his group got us repaired and back on the road in about an hour! Very friendly.

I won't take anything to them again I've spent a. Tone of money here and now have one of my car's at a defrent shop and from all indications there the reason why my engine has gone out and it's going to cost my about 5000 dollars plus to have it fixed
