When our oldest son turned 16 and needed a car, we didn t hesitate to reach out to Tilley Motors having known Stan Anthony for over 10 years. We knew he would be honest and look out for our family. Understanding we were not willing or able to put him in a vehicle anywhere close to new, we were okay with high miles as long as it was a safe vehicle. We initially inquired about a vehicle we were interested in but Stan didn t feel comfortable selling it to us given our concerns. He instead recommended a different vehicle which we purchased and have been very happy with our decision! Stan made the whole process go smoothly and eased the stress of having a young driver. We have recommended Tilley to our friends for their young drivers as we trust Stan to take care of them too.

In searching for a van, Tilley had exactly the vehicle we wanted and it was priced right.Stan was incredible to work with and made the whole buying process easy. Honest, reputable, trustworthy and friendly! The next time we're vehicle shopping, there won't be a need to even look anywhere else. Their inventory is in good condition and immaculate.

We have done business with Stan for 30 years and have bought numerous vehicles. His service is outstanding. We currently have 7 different used vehicles purchased from him for personal and business use . That were and are in great condition. We traded in our 2006 Toyota Highlander in on a 2011 Toyota RAV4 Sport and as soon as we got on the interstate to drive home all the lights on the dash came on so we left a message for Stan at the dealership, and his finance guy called us and told us to bring it back in and they use one of those little machines like the parts stores have to find out what was going on with it and they said it was either the spark plugs or the coil pack #4 so they replaced the coil pack drove it a couple of days and it did it again so we had to drive all the way back this time they replaced the spark plugs and that lasted another couple of days! I told Stan that I was going to take it to Toyota itself and have it checked out and I was told they would rip me off but I went anyway and i m glad I did we found out that it only had half compression on cylinders 3 and 4 and Toyota said the engine would have to be completely rebuilt so I called Tilley and was told to bring the vehicle back and we could exchange it for the other 2011 RAV4 so we done the exchange and almost made it home before the engine lights came on in that one as well! So we called Tilley after I took it to Advance Auto Parts, who said after putting the little machine on it that it was either the auction sensor or the catalyst converters were bad! And Stan agreed that it was the catalyst converters, and had us take it to Knoxville to be fixed and they agreed to fix it! So after it was supposedly fixed, we drove it around a couple of weeks then the engine started acting real sluggish and as soon as I stepped out the vehicle, I smelled what seem to be rotten eggs and I knew right then in there that it was the catalyst converter! So I called the place that worked on it and they couldn t even tell me which one of the catalyst converters they replaced, or if they was even replaced at all! So I called Stan and he told us that he had already put $1000 into it and he s not putting anymore that we were on our own! We ve not been able to drive the RAV4 going on for about 2 months now! Now we re out $8,000 plus all the fuel wasted driving there the drive is 56 miles there and 56 miles back that s 112 miles! Plus the money we had to pay Toyota to run diagnostics on the engine! Stan never offered us any compensation for our fuel wasted or the money for the diagnostics test either! If you buy A vehicle from Tilley your best bet is to take it to a A1 certified mechanic and have every test and a imaginable ran are you will get screwed over!

Bought a 2012 suburu from Stan after my old car's transmission went, which I mentioned. I know buying a used car is a risk so I purchased the 3 year warranty also which they assured me covered all major engine problems. The air went out as I was leaving the dealership. That they fixed. 6 months later and less than 3000 miles I had to have the wheel bearing cut off they were so rusted and the transmission went out. Well good thing I purchased the warranty right? WRONG. cars plus is not only rude as hell, they argued about everything with my mechanic and only paid half... leaving me with. $3000 bill. Stan blamed in on poor maintenence on my part. I'm sorry am I supposed to be responsible for someone purposely putting thick fluid in the transmission to cover up problems and I'm sure the control arm suddenly rusted after I bought it too. Save your money... the warranty isn't worth the paper it's printed on and they are untrustworthy. Go elsewhere

Traded in my rav4 for a v8 xc90, had been trying to find one for months, and saw this at their dealership.Great guys! Car was in great shape, and they fixed the AC and when the ac cooling fan went out, they replaced that too. They do right by their customers! Will definitely recommend to friends and family and anyone looking for a car. Thank you guys so much!

I love my Volvo V-70 Cross Country! The experience of finding and buying this car was amazing and very laid back and easy.Stan and his staff go out of their way to make you happy. I made a purchase today ... It's a 2013 with 146,000 miles Volvo XC60 AWD ... I paid $11,000 taxes registration and license Inc. It's fully loaded all the bells and whistles The Manual and Maintenance Schedule information from the original purchase were on hand during the sale as well a Car Fax history... Writing to say what a pleasant experience I had purchasing an automobile from Tilley Motor Company. I found the SUV I'd been searching for online at their lot and drove an hour for a test drive. Stan was awesome from the jump and upon arrival I was greeted and allowed to browse with zero pressure. I drove the vehicle and it really sold itself. Stan's vast experience and courteous professionalism made the entire process, from start to finish, VERY easy and he was more than flexible while addressing all of my concerns. This man understands the intrinsic value of customer service and repeat customers. Would definitely recommend his business!

Great business! Stan was very friendly and helpful. A easy going feller. I did not feel pressured into buying anything. I did purchase a car. He had just gotten it in that day it hadn't even been cleaned up so i got to see it just as he first saw it. But he made sure it was detailed for me. Great experience with Tilly MC with both Stan and Richard. They are very good to deal with and straightforward. Even when my financing took longer then expected they worked with me and were patient until I got it fixed. Would recommend them to anyone, just do your research on the vehicle you are looking at first and you won't have any unexpected issues.

I live in New Orleans so I buy nice used cars from other places to bring here and get as much as I can. Lucky for me these guys had what we were looking for and were VERY easy to deal with. I have bought many used cars from many different places. There are single star reviews here that don t make sense- this is a used car dealer, not a restoration company. Of course they scrape dealer lots and auctions for the cars they know to be good sellers and also good for their reputation, how else is this business supposed to work? 5 stars all the way, I don t care if the car dies tomorrow.When you buy a used anything you buy it s problems too. Go find the car that let you down on google and leave the car a one star review. Leave yourself one too for not understanding the way the secondary car market works before you made your decision. It s mind blowing- are they supposed to have dealer diagnostics for EVERY make on the lot? Factory trained techs for every make? Service bulletins for every car ever produced that happens to end up on their lot? You want a used car with a dealer diagnostic then drive one of Tilley s cars to its dealership to pay for one, I m sure these guys encourage that.

I called about a car he had listed online. I asked if it had any defects and he told me all without reservation and furnished pictures. I was a five hour drive away so we negotiated and settled on a price over the phone. He was honest and open, and thats all I could have hoped for. My wife and I went to pick up the car and it was exactly as he described. Happy with the deal and the car. I would recommend them.

Absolutely the most pleasant car buying experience, ever! They posses the type of atmosphere and environment everyone wants, when buying a car... no hovering, no thousand question inquiries, no pressure! Walked in, test drove the ones I wanted, took carfaxes and quotes then went home to make my own decision based on what I needed and wanted. Then returned on my time and bought a vehicle, with super quick easy paperwork. Very pleased. Will definitely return when the need arises and would highly recommend them! Thanks Stan!

Every vehicle on lot is under 10k. I believe most are under 200k. My family and myself went to explore 3rd row cars. We soon found the one we have been looking for. Stan gave us a couple of options to help us get in the car we wanted. We secured the money for the vehicle after hours and had to have the 3rd row fast. Stan did not hesitate to meet us after hours to help us out. No salesman pitch and no pressure. I honestly believe the cars he has sell themselves. Thank you Stan for answering our questions and concerns. We will definitely be back in the future.

We bought from Tiley a few weeks ago and everything was such a pleasure! They have GREAT quality used vehicles and they are very open and honest about their cars! Pleasant sales experience, the car unfortunately had 4,610$ in repairwork needed that Stan failed to mention at all.Update: discovered that the rear subframe had been left rotted out, the car is actually unsafe to drive and I suggest nobody ever purchase a vehicle hereMany reviews on here were written by employees, this business displays bad practices, conflicts of interest and should never be trusted. I am seeking legal action against them for selling me an unsafe vehicle.

I was dreading buying a used car and dealing with used car salesman hassle, pressure and games.Not the case at Tilleys. Stan, David and Richard are all great to deal with. Laid back, do what they say. It was actually relaxing doing business with them. I'm sending a friend to see them about wheels for their daughter.

I recently purchased a 2008 Nissan Altima. The car is fantastic. Looks wonderful and drives even better. It was a great value and Richard Taylor was fantastic to work with. . He made buying the car very easy. Answered all my questions and worked hard to get us a good deal. I recommend going to Tilley Motors. I live in North Knoxville and it was definitely worth the drive.

I had a great experience buying a car from Tilley Motor Company. I found the car listed online, read the carfax and then went in the next morning. There was no pressure in the experience just helpful assistance and information. I test drove the car, asked for time to think it over, and when I came back, the purchase process was very quick and thorough. Stan and Richard are great! From the beginning they went above and beyond. I had asked for pictures of a vehicle late one night. The next morning, Stan let me know it was in detail and pictures would be up the following day. Once they were up, they took it a step further to call and email me to let me know!It was perfect, exactly what I was looking for. I went ahead and applied for credit. I spoke with Richard and he had found a company to finance me. Unfortunately, it would my first time financing a car (I usually pay cash for most everything). The monthly payment was a bit out of my comfort zone.I emailed them to let them know I would have to pass, as well as thank them for their time and assistance. Mind you, this was at 9:30 at night. Stan was on it yet again! He replied back and let me know he d look into it for me. The next morning he emailed me back with an update.Though I wasn t able to get the vehicle, I would definitely recommend them! They are on top of communication and incredibly helpful. They know what customer service is and they know how to deliver. I would 100% recommend them if you are in the market for a vehicle.

We recently purchased a car from here, we had it for one week, it started having problems with the motor. The man told us it was the best he had on the lot, we could have bought a brand new car for our daughter, for the amount of money we have to put into this car already. We ve had it in the shop longer than she got to drive it off your lot! Very unhappy about our car purchase.

Great service! Had a maintenance issue pop up 24 hours after the purchase of a used Nissan Murano and Stan volunteered to cover part of the cost of the repair. He paid our mechanic directly and made the issue as painless as possible. From purchase to repair Stan was excellent.
