I would give 10 stars if I were able. I was introduced to Import Auto a few years back when my daughter and I were stranded after coming out of a nearby restaurant to a dead car on Friday evening. Mark stayed open late this night to look at my issue and even found us a way home. Most recently I returned to Import Auto and again Mark did not disappoint. I had several issues with my SUV and he offered me a few options and pricing using OEM parts or aftermarket. He repaired all of my issues in a timely manner and kept communications open during the entire process. Give this mechanic and shop a chance. He loves what he does, has pride in his work and it shows!

I was in town visiting my father in law and had car trouble. My alternator was going bad. Needed fixed before the trip home through the mountains. He changed the alternator and did several extra little things. Only changed me the one price he told me in the beginning. Super nice guy. If I lived in town I'd use him for all my future mechanical need. I'd give him 10 stars if I could. If you need work done go see him.Thank you for your help. It was greatly appreciated. I will definitely be coming here for any auto repairs from now on! My car started squeaking on my way to work and I called here to ask if he could take a look at it because I was scared to drive it any farther and even though it was time for him to close, he told me to bring it on over and he would look at it. I got there and it didn't take him 10 minutes to find out exactly what it was and he fixed it right there on the spot. Very well mannered and very kind! He just gained a loyal customer with me!

I can t speak to experience. I can say that I went to Import auto repair 5/26 at 9:30 and they weren t open. Hours they are open 8-5. Dilapidated/derelict vehicles parked there. No secured parking for cars. High transient traffic in that area. maybe they have a good system to secure your cars.. They were closed during business hours so I ll never know. Went to autos dealer instead.

I have five trucks and cars and wouldn t go anywhere else to have them repaired. Mark is the best mechanic I have ever used and will continue to use until I can t. He s honest with his findings and reasonable with the cost! Alternator replacement. This guy charged us 400$, plus 150$ for the part. I called Mexicano auto repair, asked how much they would charge for labor if I bought the alternator, they said 139$. We didn't even get a receipt from from Import auto. Steer clear.

I ve been a customer of Import autos for over 10 years. I ve never had a problem he tells me when to bring it I ll drop it off and they take care of it. I m here today matter fact I was just going to have plugs put in but after he inspected it he found a small Antifreeze leak thank God he did I don t wanna get stranded in the woods or on the side of the road and it was just a matter of time he pointed it out to me and I told him to fix it. No high pressure sales he tells you like it is if you can fix it or not and that s what I love about this place

We have been going to Mark for 10 years now. He has performed routine maintenance and repairs on all 3 of our vehicles. He is an amazing mechanic. I had one good experience where he replaced a bearing.. the next time he said the whole brakes system needed replaced but we took it to mexicano's and they replaced an o ring, this last time was the worst, I doubt he even looked at it, I needed to find out what was wrong with the driver's side wheel and after keeping it all day, he said we needed a full replacement of the whole front end, ball joints and tie rod ends for $2,000 but I guess he didn't know that we recently had that done on the passenger side and that only cost us $650 at Mexicano's where we normally go. I think he is a good mechanic, when he's honest.

TOP NOTCH!! 10/10 the best!! We started going here about 3 years ago. Have brought 3 different vehicles to Mark. This time someone in a Gallatin "mechanic" supposedly fix my AC. However it wasnt blowing efficiently at all.He discovered not only was it wired unsafely and the wires were melting but they also installed it were the fan was spinning BACKWARDS! Mind you we had replaced the blower and resistor because of this.My husband went to someone because of friendship prior to Mark and that was the result. If your having an issue with your vehicle, bring it to a pro.He is the best in his field, he is beyond fair in pricing and I've never not had him go above and beyond in service!Services: Electrical, A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning

I had called Saturday 30 minutes before closing and talked with a employee who stated I could drop the car off at 8 am and there would be someone there to look at my car and discuss possible repairs. I showed up at 7:57 and waited til 8:33 with still now answer on the phone or anyone coming to unlock the door. I went over to advanced to grab a part where they proceeded to tell me the owner just opens and closes as he pleases. I would not recommend this shop to anyone due to poor customer service and lack of consistent hours.Service: Brakes

Honest, hard-working, professional. He gave me a realistic time frame and squeezed me in even when he was completely booked. He did what one shop couldn t do - get it right the first time. I needed a full catback exhaust installed on my 370z. The first shop decided to do half the job and made me pay in full. I took it to Import Auto Repair because something wasn t right and the first shop refused to answer my calls or answer the door. IAR took me in same day, replaced, fixed, and reinstalled everything so I could drive without my exhaust falling from underneath my car. 1000% satisfied. Before he even started the work, he called me over to go over everything the first shop did wrong. He built my trust, gave me knowledge, and a peace of mind the job was going to be done today and CORRECTLY. I will be returning for all future services he provides.Service: Exhaust

I took my car to get looked at and somebody told me it needs a new transmission and it was going to cost me a lot of money. I brought it to import auto to get another estimate and the guy looked at it for me and said it didn't need a transmission and he fixed for me for really cheap.very good people, honest, smart and good on the prices
