I just purchased my 5th vehicle from Bates Ford ( counting my immediate family, we ve purchased 15 or so in all - maybe more); that within itself says it all. It s an entirely different dealership and buying experience. They ve earned my trust and my business. They ve treated my entire family like their own extended family. Their prices are excellent. I ve always gotten top dollar for my trade. Service and Customer Care is second to none. And to top it all off, somehow, they get a selection of 1-owner, accident free, local trade-in, crazy low mileage vehicles like you ll find nowhere else nowhere! (My 2021 Truck had 10K miles!) Go see Toby Bates - if they don t have exactly what you want - he will find exactly what you want! (My last 2 vehicle requests - which I thought would be impossible to fill - took about 2 weeks for #1 and 1 day for #2 - Amazing!) Not only will he take care of you - but you ll feel like you just added another family member. I will never buy elsewhere!

We had an excellent experience shopping and buying at Bates Ford in Lebanon, TN. We got nothing but the best customer service from our salesman, Rich. He was helpful, courteous, fair, and honest with us through the whole process. We received excellent financing and drove away very satisfied with our new truck. I would highly recommend 10/10.

Arriving at Bates Ford merely 10 minutes before closing, we were warmly greeted by Rich, who went above and beyond to help us explore a truck. Despite the late hour, Rich s assistance was exceptional. He even made sure to park the truck out front for us to look at first thing in the morning, ensuring a seamless experience.Dealing with a trade-in, the sales manager stepped in and provided great assistance, ensuring we were content with the offer. Their dedication to ensuring our satisfaction went above and beyond our expectations. Although initially unfamiliar with Bates Ford, this experience has guaranteed my return.Rich, along with Sean in finance and Mike the sales manager, collectively made this experience wonderful. I am thoroughly pleased with how smoothly everything transpired.

We bought a 2022 Ford Edge and had the best experience. Brian the sells guy was very professional and nice. Shawn the financial guy was pleasant. I would recommend. What made this better was we went to a different ford dealer earlier in the day and had a horrible experience. Came right in here and immediately felt like this was the place to be. Thanks again!

New dealership looks great very modern and clean than the previous store. I went there for the first time today, looking at a used Jeep Gladiator and dealt with Rich M., great guy and knows his stuff. Unfortunately we couldn t strike a deal today but overall a good experience still, maybe another time or day.

Shawn Cook is by far the best Service Advisor I've ever had the pleasure of working with. He addressed my needs, and he went above and beyond. One thing that truly stood out was his attention to correct recalls. He was honest, explained the process, and really went out of his way to assist me. I'm greatly appreciative to him and his team, and I look forward to purchasing my next truck at Bates. Thanks Shawn!

I've been to several dealers and looked at several trucks. One day I came by bates and was met by Toby and was looking at f150 and talked to him several moments got some info then I was on my way . Another day I was more intrigued and called Toby and ask if I could take the same truck for a more irregular test drive to go pick up some xmas gift cards in murf and that would give me a good feel of the truck . No problem they let me test it come back when your done. Got back sat down . Couldn't really agree to the #. So I was looking at a tundra down at nashville dealer won't say names . Was treated very rudely . Said I'm done . I called Toby I'll be there in 15 mins and I'm throwing you a hail Mary. No problem . Had the truck pulled up . Want to test drive it again. Let's go. We test drove it. Went it. And bam. Made all the #s work. SCORE! RAIN Man Toby got it . Also couple extra late present to go with it. Toby and all the guys down at bates ford were great. In and out less than an hr. So if your looking for a great deal on your next ride . Go see Rain Man Toby He will throw ya a deal right there in the end zone .

We went to Bates Ford in search of a F-150. Rich went above and beyond to meet our needs. He was extremely thorough and accommodating and made the entire process so seamless. Nathan explained all of our financing options to us and finished our experience as smoothly as we could ever hope for when buying a vehicle. Bates provided top notch customer service and care. We never felt pressured and we knew all of our options. We are happy to support a local dealership and are extremely pleased with our experience and purchase.

First I want to thank Lewis. We went here to buy a used car (very used) for our grandson. We weren't going to spend a lot. But Lewis treated us like we were buying a new car. We made a good deal. Customer service has been great. I would highly recommend Bates Ford.

I would like to start by saying what a pleasant experience we had purchasing a car from Bates Ford. The new showroom was clean and very accommodating. Rich Martinez was pleasant, helpful and very knowledgeable. He made the car buying experience very delightful. If you're looking to buy a vehicle, you owe it to yourself to visit the new showroom at Bates Ford. Ask for Rich Martinez you won't be disappointed!!!

I stopped by Bates Ford on Thursday afternoon to see if there might be a vehicle I might be interested in. I was met by Rich a salesperson on the lot. I just wasn't comfortable with spending a ton of money. I left and came back on Friday morning. I told Rich that I would look at a good low mileage truck if they had something I would be interested in. He pulled up one that I wanted to look at. Now it was pouring down rain on Friday. Rich braved the rain and brought the vehicle back inside. A 2022 Chevrolet Z71, I loved the truck, deal was done. Thanks to Rich and the staff at Bates for assisting me during bad weather to find the vehicle that I love and for making a deal that worked for me. Thanks again Rich!!!

when you read reviews about management here being bad, it's entirely accurate. I was pre-approved for a vehicle but it wasn't available due to being scheduled to go to auction. The day of the auction I was told I needed to pay a grand over list price if I still wanted the car because it had a bidder at auction. I declined only to get called the next day that the car was back on the lot and available for only $500 more now. What a horrible experience. I took it at the higher price because it was still an incredible deal but wow did it feel sleazy. two stars because the sales rep was good

Awesome experience here at Bates! Went to several other dealerships before we landed here. We love the small ownership feel and everyone is so helpful. Rich was extremely knowledgeable but not pushy. You could tell he wanted what worked for our family instead of just making a sale. This was the most enjoyable experience we ve ever had when purchasing a vehicle. We plan to purchase another vehicle within the year and will be back to buy from Bates!

**Update**2/3/24Bates Ford still sucks.*Update*1/30/24Bates still sucks.I would strongly recommend taking your business anywhere but Bates Ford. Most of the guys I dealt with over the course of two months were pretty great, but the last day we went to pickup our vehicle and the General Manager, Paul Tubbs, came out to the waiting area where he was rude and not helpful. Their websites states they will offer advice and help with all things Ford. But when I asked about how to properly preform a maintenance (coolant flush) he told me I don t have to answer that . He also said I should take my problems back to where we purchased the vehicle, which was a Toyota Dealership.You don t have to search too hard to find other people having problems dealing with the General Manager here.This dealership will only treat you right if you purchase your vehicle through them.

To start, I despise car dealers, absolutely dread working with them on the phone or in person. However, Rich at Bates Ford is an exception to the rule. He was kind, not pushy, and most importantly went above and beyond to ensure my two kids were comfortable during the purchase process. They worked with me to ensure that all was in order the way I needed it. If you are looking for a new Ford, Rich and the Bates Ford team are who you re looking for.

We purchased a 2023 Ford Ranger from Rich at Bates Ford and it was an easy and peaceful experience. He was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and helped us purchase in a quick and efficient way. We had just had a bad situation come up with a different dealership and decided to try Bates Ford. Rich made sure we felt comfortable and were happy with our decisions. We have been loyal customers with this JOKE of a dealership since 2017.We will NEVER be using their service garage again.This business has been a joke since they were in their old location on Lebanon Road.Joey, Johnny and the service manager Keith have been the worst people to work with.We had brought my 2019 escape (which had been purchased from the dealership, with a trade-in from another purchase from that dealership) in for transmission issues.They had it for two months. We had to fight with them to abide our warranty at that time, two years ago.We have brought it back for every service needed since. We have asked multiple times for the transmission to be checked.We get told that they are not able to check them, give us the bill as if they had.We pay every time.To now, we have just gotten my 2019 back with a transmission rebuild. That could've been avoided if they had actually checked on the request, the customer had on THEIR car.We have now brought in our E-Con Van in for a oil leak.They have the van sitting in their lot for one week and three days.Joey has said that Johnny put dye in to find the leak.Then retracted that statement saying that no dye was put in.Joey and Johnny leave the van idling and look underneath.They never test drove it or actually checked for a leak.A full two weeks have gone by now. They call and let us know it is ready to be picked up. There is absolutely no problem.We come in Tuesday March 12, 2024.We received all of this information by Joey at the cashier's desk.To then drive five miles down the road to have the underside of the engine covered with oil, from the back rear main seal.After paying them the overpriced diagnostic fee, which was higher than what they had quoted us for.We have been on the phone with Keith.To which now Keith hangs up on us.Why does Bates Ford have the best customer service when you are purchasing a car. But once you have left the lot, their care for their customers is done.I don't know where they were taught customer service.But they need to go through a retraining.I would love Keith to reach out to us. I know you have the receipts of this week; you should find my husband and my name pretty easily.

I purchased a used Toyota tundra from Bates today and just felt like I needed to let everyone know what a Great experience it was from start to finish.Toby was my salesman and he was great from the first text to the end of the sale and Nathan was the financial person and was so helpful with getting a good rate and payments where I was comfortable. Let me preface by saying I did not purchase a vehicle from Bates Ford but did have a pleasant experience with Rich. He is smooth at his craft. Professional at all levels. Had they carried the Toyota RAV 4 XSE I was looking for, a transaction would have been made. Until that happens 4/5 is solid.
