Bought a battery about a year ago from O'Reilly. Started having a problem with the battery being dead after sitting for 24 hours +. Jump start the car, get it tested at O'Reilly, low and behold it test good. So we confirmed my alternator is doing its job. So we take the car to a mechanic, he finds nothing wrong. We take it to Nissan as recommended to do for a very thorough system check and install any possibly needed updates. Completed by Nissan and all is well until this weekend. The car sits while we use my truck for the Christmas weekend. Monday morning of 12/26/23, the battery is dead again. O'Reilly seems to be more qualified than 2 ASE Certified mechanics and Nissan to diagnose the battery does have a bad cell that drains the battery once it sits not being charged daily. So O'Reilly prefers my wife get stuck somewhere once the battery completely dies on her rather than hear the diagnoses of the manufacturer of the car who has completed a very thorough 3 hour inspection and diagnoses of the car. The Manager at O'Reilly Lawrenceburg TN stated "It doesn't matter to O'Reilly Auto Parts until the battery completely dies". So instead of warranty of an obvious bad part proven through a diagnoses by Nissan themselves. O'Reilly prefers to strand customers rather than accept a professional diagnoses. Sad case to be so unprofessional as a company to be so cheesy cheap to prefer stranding your customers rather than listen to the customers and professionals who have verified the problem.

Much better prices than advanced. Saved over 20 dollars by going there for an O2 sensor. Very helpful and the guy ran a diagnostic test on my bfs car and cleared the codes. He said if the light came back on that he would run it again. So far, the light hasn't came back on but we have not drove the car much.

I d like to brag on an associate I interacted with yesterday. This was at the Lawrenceburg, TN location and his name was Taylor. My truck died right in the middle of the road, just outside the store.Taylor helped me get the truck in the parking lot, assessed what was wrong, helped me price parts to fix it, and then went above and beyond helping to make sure I was taken care of and that the truck would start before I was able to drive home. I must have taken up an hour of his time. At no point was he ever rude. He provided quick, efficient, and quite frankly joyful service. I would recommend shopping at the Lawrenceburg location to any of my friends, and will return for all future automotive needs. Please make sure this message gets to the proper person who can pat these guys on the back!!

Some of the employees here are great and helpful, but the younger ones seem to only want to chat with the locals as the others said. I hate to rate so low because some of the older people are quite nice, but please if you''re reading this, talk some sense into your younger employees. I'm young myself at 21 years old, so I can totally understand wanting to talk and getting excited to talk to someone, but that's not acceptable behavior for an employee. I'm an incredibly patient person when it comes to retail workers cause they have to deal with a looot of bullsh*t, but when I'm standing in line for 10 minutes with a tire gauge while the teen girl flirts up some teen boy while staring directly into my eyes, it's going to make me annoyed. However, I'm not going to say a thing, but someone else might, so like I recommended, please have a talk with your employees about the whole talking while people wait in line. Maybe tell them to tell their friends to move to the side while they check out other people in line?

I'd have to agree with the previous reviews. I was in the store shortly after they opened, grabbed what I came for, went to the register and the young guy behind the counter was talking with a local. I was someone waiting to pay for something and he totally ignored me while he continued to talk. Without saying a word to me, he slapped his hand on the counter three times signaling me to set my stuff down, which I did, while he continued to talk. Seriously? Terribly inconsiderate and rude. When I left, I passed by AutoZone across the way from these guys and wished I would have gone there. How secure does this place think it is anyway? There is competition. You can't just rely on the name O'Reilly's. Customer service and appreciation has to back it up.

I'm not a mechanic in any sense of the word. I went into the store and was greeted and treated very well. The store associate even changed my headlight bulb while showing me how to do it for the next time. Thanks guys!

Went in with a problem with my truck battery. A service technician went out and checked it found it was bad and replaced it in about 15 minutes. Great guy. Highly recommended.

Not overly impressed by the customer service. Yes they had the part I was needing. But not friendly, strictly business.
