Dustin and the whole team at The Subaru Shop were great. From clear communication in pricing and scheduling to follow through, I couldn t be more impressed with the work they did. I hope I don t have any more issues with my Forester, but if I do I know where I ll be taking it!

It s not right that I can t give a review for more than 5 stars. If I could these guys would get at minimum of a 10 star review.As you can see from my other reviews I m always level headed and give fair reviews based on my experiences. Seldom (maybe never) do I bash and on the rare occasion will I go over the top on a review. When I do, it is not fluff and flash but due to completely out of the ordinary occurrences.I cannot express just how pleased I was with these guys. They knew that I was in a position where they could have taken me for thousands and thousands of dollars.My family and I had literally just blown in from Texas for my youngests senior trip when the dash board lit up like a Christmas tree. Since there was an Orielys about 2 miles ahead of us I took it there to have them plug their magic box into it to see what was going on.They told me my brake sensor was going out and was causing the problems (whaaaaat?).So I looked up Auto Zone and headed that way. Their box said something was up with a solenoid(?).So I Google Mapped Subaru Dealerships and these guys popped up. Even better they were only 3 miles from where we were staying. I could take it to them the next morning and have them assess it when they opened.The next morning I was at their doorstep and explained what was happening and he said he was certain what the problem was and said he could get it repaired that afternoon since we only had a few days in town. He even gave us a car to drive around.True to his word, he fixed it when he said he would and we are now driving the car all over the beautiful Tennessee countryside.HONESTY & INTEGRITY are a RARE breed in today s world. This place has it.

I am thinking about buying another old Subaru but before I went further I made sure these guys were still around. It s been a few years but I ve used them, and even bought an older Outback from them. Good experiences all around.

My local dealership (back in NJ) told me that I needed to get my front control arms replaced, but I was headed down to Nashville the next day. Upon arrival to Nashville, I contacted a few repair shops. However, the guys down at the Subaru Shop were exceptionally prompt and friendly when I requested a quote. They wound up ordering the parts and I dropped my car off. A few hours later, they called me back and said that they took a look at my car, but that I didn't need to replace anything.I didn't end up getting the service done, but these guys kept me in the loop, and didn't try to take advantage of the situation. They could have taken my money, I would have left, and no one would have thought twice about it. Based on their honesty alone, I highly recommend this shop.

Everyone here is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Dustin took his time explaining Subaru's to us. Sam is polite and knows his stuff. We were very pleased with Chris' staff and shop.

Really nice people, with decent prices but terrible communication on their end. They did not answer half my calls. I left voicemails, but shortly found out that they did not know of a voicemail box or know that customers were being sent to one. It was made clear that they were not communicating properly with each other as well. Not only was that frustrating, but they also left my car on bone dry - no gas.Update: shortly afterwards I went to have my fluids checked at a nearby by place and found out they didn t even change my oil like I asked, but 100% charged me. They said my oil was low and extremely black.Also noticed that a good amount of gum from my car was missing. Not professional whatsoever.I will not be coming back, unfortunately.Services: Engine repair, Oil change

These guys are amazing! Incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and economically minded. They are my one stop shop for all things Subaru. Do yourself a favor and stop your search if you re looking for a solid used Subaru!!!

Literally the best and most honest shop. I tried to get my Subaru fixed in Gallatin because that s where it broke down and the shop quoted me $1300 for 1 thing and took over a week to look at it. I immediately called Subaru Shop and spoke to Jonathan, he gave me a quote for 3 things that needed to be fixed all for under $1300. Got the call in and out in 2 days. I ve bought 2 other Subarus for Chris before and none of them have had any issues. Great communication. Easy to pay invoice. Just all around a great shop and great people working it.

I am so happy I found this amazing subaru shop right when I first moved to Nashville. Finding a new mechanic is always a daunting thought, but this team has been amazing at every part of the experience. They prioritize their customers with quality work, efficiency, and great prices while still keeping a positive energy work environment between all the staff. I especially appreciate the time and patience in answering my many questions. If you are looking for a trustworthy and fair priced subaru auto shop, then these many positive reviews speak for themselves

Highly recommended! Bought a 2004 Forester from them recently. Noticed an issue when trying to fill the gas tank after leaving with the vehicle. I called and they had me bring it right back. It turned out to be something that they needed a few days on. My ride had already left so I was stuck without a car. They loaned me another car to use until they could get the problem fixed. I live two hours away so that was very generous of them. They stayed in touch the entire time and even offered to bring the car to me, 2hrs away, when it was finished. I offered to meet halfway instead because they already did so much. I had also noticed the door lock motor was out and I ask if they could look at it while they had it. Not only did they repair that, but they added a key fob as well. They went above and beyond for us with the hiccups we encountered. Definitely going to use them for repairs on both of our Subaru s in the future! They are worth the drive!

Super awesome place. They swapped my transmission out and did my timing belt. I had the car back for a few days before a bit that we didn't know was stripped worked its way out causing my timing belt to get really loose! They came all the way to my house, towed me to the shop and towed it back home for me the next day! The have all kinds of parts cars and really friendly staff. Thanks Chris! If you have a Subaru you should go here

I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. One year ago they replaced the engine on my '03 Forester and it has been running wonderfully.Since then, I've taken it in for routine care, mystery problems, and your run of the mill old car replacements, and they have always been abundantly helpful in explaining what needs done and why. Prices are incredibly fair, and they make sure they find solutions for even the toughest problems. I've always been satisfied with their communication!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair, Auto maintenance, Oil change

Exceptional service and extremely fair pricing. Our 2011 Forester's engine blew while on our way to visit family. We had it towed to the nearest shop who assured us they could fix it. After a week, this other shop had no new engine, a timeline of a month, and a quoted price of twice what we ended up paying at Subaru Repairs / Cars LLC. Chris was able to arrange a tow from where our car was an hour away, and replaced the entire engine in less than 3 days. Knowing we were stuck in town and eager to get home, the shop made sure to get our car done by the end of Friday so we could on the road. When we came to pick up the car, they even offered us the extra Jersey Mike's sandwiches they'd had brought in for lunch! As we pulled out, we noticed another minor, unrelated issue with the car, and Chris had us come back and spent a few minutes to take care of that, too, at no additional cost. Throughout the whole ordeal, we received calls and texts with pictures giving us updates on the status. We called nearly a hundred shops around Nashville and into Kentucky, and Subaru Repairs was by far the cheapest and quickest quote we received while also seeming to have the greatest expertise in our car's make. I cannot recommend Chris and the team at Subaru Repairs enough, and hope to someday find a shop even half as great in my home state. Thank you Subaru Repairs.

Where do I begin, this place is AMAZING. It is the only place I will take my car to get looked at and worked on from now on. These guys are absolutely wonderful people to talk too, they re accommodating, efficient, honest, and communicate wonderfully. I felt so respected. They organized towing from one shop to another and handled everything for me. They made my car nightmare a dream. I can t thank them enough, I highly recommend them and will suggest everyone I know who has a Subaru take their car there.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes

Absolutely awesome! Yesterday driving Myrtle Beach to Nashville had four different lights come on all at once on my outback. Brought it over to Chris and Ethan, they did a scan, cleared my codes, cleaned my air flow sensor that was creating the issue, did a test run, inspected the rest of the vehicle, recommended a body repair shop they trust for a bumper I want replaced, handed me back the keys and didn't charge me a DIME! Couldn't have lucked out more with a repair shop for my Subaru.

This is the best and only independent Subaru Shop in Nashville and Clarksville area. Not only that but the owner and employees are easy going and honest.My 2010 Subaru Legacy was struggling with ignition problems. Dealer in Clarksville said it was the CPU, they reprogrammed it same problem. And then only opening they had to see me again for another 2weeks. Went to Imports Outshop, they changed the BCM and reprogrammed it (costly repair). Slowly the problem returned. I cleaned fuel injectors, new sparkplugs, new fuel pump/filter assembly. Same issue......out if desperation drove here and dropped off the car. He did a diagnostic, so he put a used sensor, didn't charge me for the part nor labor, only charged for the diagnostic. Which was 1/2 the cost of Subaru Dealer diagnostic.A few months later I needed AC line re tightened, new gasket, pressurized and add freon. Did it 30mins at a reasonable price.Highly recommend.
