I was a mechanic for 14 years, and when I lived in Iowa the local O'Reilly was my go to place for me to get parts. Since moving to TN, I have only been into this store a handful of times, I've found the Smyrna location to be much better, but each time I have been here I received 0 customer service. The employees have not been knowledgeable or care, but they do always seem to be talking about inappropriate topics and goofing around while leaving parts bins and clutter in the isles that could be a hazard to customers. Today I had a part that was supposed to be delivered to the store (which come to find out later was delivered but the employee just didn't want to look), I went in to pick it up and instead of the employee trying to find the part he didn't attempt to look for the part and had no solutions. He didn't attempt to find the part, look up the part, or order the part. So I flipped the bulbs that I was gonna purchase onto the counter and walked out while the employees (yes all four of them goofing around at the counter) were yelling at me and trying to instigate a confrontation. Later Summer helped be to get the part next day, but the employee stated that I threw a "part" at him. It was a pair of bulbs and I tossed it onto the counter, but I will never go to this O'Reilly's location again. The location in Smyrna has always been helpful and has what I need.

If you want to know the meaning of word rude go this branchThe black lady there literally was on her phone the whole time and when I walked to ask for her helpI swear I felt that she was gonna fight me or curse me out because I asked her help to find something on the shelf I even asked her How is she?? Definitely, she didn't answer meI said thank you by the end of the transaction!! Also No answerI really wished I didn't buy anything from her.Definitely this was my last time to have a business with this branch.

I don't often post negative reviews but this experience warrants it.My battery died and roadside gave me a jump so I could go to have the battery replaced. I checked with O'Reilly and was told they could so I went there as it was closer.The employee with a long ponytail checked the battery, confirmed it was dead, and proceeded to checking me out but said they couldn't replace it, mumbled something about liability. I went out to try and start my car to go elsewhere and it was dead again. I asked if there was anything I could do like sign a waiver as I couldn't go elsewhere. His only answers to any of my questions were "what do you mean?" and "I don't know", simple questions like can someone help me, jump me off, or do anything.I asked to speak to the manager who was obviously annoyed, he must have had lunch interrupted. I was trying very hard not to be angry or short but explained the situation. He was short and curt but did explain the policy the other guy didn't know. He asked if anyone offered to give me a jump and I told him his associate gave up doing anything after seeing the note in the computer. I thanked him for at showing he could listen and went to Goodyear.It's much less about a policy to not install "difficult" batteries but more about being told they could then having people shrug when asked for help.Never again.

They have stolen parts I have ordered twice by putting it under their name or phone number when they charge me. Do not do business here, they don't know anything about vehicles and they will steal the parts you depend on to keep your vehicle running.

I stick with the O'Reilly shops around Smyrna because of Javier. The man knows his stuff, and my business will follow him.

This location has curbside pickup advertised on the window but yet the employees refuse to honor it, they are increadibly rude and cocky, Marshall helped me and I practically had to force him to at least let me at their door with my order (couldn't carry much I had a baby with me). He then basically threw my order at me and it fell to the ground and he then ran and hid inside the store instead of offering another part. I am bringing my business elsewhere

Cheyenne O'Reilly's in lavergne Tennessee she is the one the worst manager she won't do nothing for you I took my battery to get it charged up I went there three times in one week she told me it was a good battery then I call the corporate office on her she finally told them it was a bad battery they would not give me another battery because I didn't have a receipt stay away from them do not buy a battery this is the second time in 2 years I have problems with my batteries why couldn't she tell me the first time it was a bad battery

Great place. They love to try and help on prices. Love to help customers with work on their cars, sucks they let Jerry go, he always helped and tried his best to make sure all his customers left happy and wanted to come back. And it seems like ever since he left, so did all of his just as hard working co-workers. Now the place is kind of slacking.

Get a second opinion on your battery getting checked.. the guy said mine was bad but I knew it wasn t and needed a charge. Went to Advance auto and voila it needs charged. I question everything nowadays because people literally don t want to do a job and plus I worked in auto parts back in the day so don t try and fool me.

This particular store it depends on who's working because Dave at AutoZone is very very helpful. Your guy verbally guaranteed the touch-up paint was right but # was wrong so I purchased and it was wrong and it's red so now I really got problems people's cars mean alot to the m especially fixed income gday

Worst experience I've ever had at O'Reillys. I called this location to confirm that my defective parts had the lifetime warranty on them before I drove there. I was told by Jerry that I didn't have a account under my phone number. After being confused by this i called another location where the knowledgeable associate was able to get my account to pull up and was able to tell me when I purchased the parts and gave me the invoice number. I decided to go to the lavergne location with the info and exchange my parts. Once I arrived Jerry was magically able to find my account once I presented him the I information of my purchase but I was still given resistance. I don't know if they are trained poorly, or if they don't want to honor warranties or if they are just lazy.... I don't plan on returning

Would not give a star at all but it made me give at least one bought a pitman arm for a 1977 Caprice and the gave me one for a Ford F250 so I had to go get my money back and then they wanted double that price when Auto zone has one for half the price who would have payed if my wife would have took off in the car and the car would not have turned that's where they hire people that does not know what they are doing or just don't care they have lost my buissness just beware of what you buy

I love this store they make sure they make you feel at home and try to learn your name even tho they see a million people everyday but they what you to feel at home .... the cheers feel in a auto part store

There's always new blades for windshield wipers in the trash (clean in box usually) people will change both of their wipers when only one is bad I have found a wiper in a pint many times when my wiper were messing up pull over at one of these places and grab one out of the trash perfect and nothing wrong with them save you 27 dollars
