If I could give 10 stars I would! Joe and all of his employees really went out of their way to help me with my truck! Very professional and great prices as well. I will definitely be taking my truck to them from now on!!! Thank you Music City Diesel Repair for taking great care of me!!!

I should ve read the reviews before trusting this company with our work vehicle. Everything the reviews said about this guy is absolutely true.Made multiple attempts to contact the owner after 3 weeks of truck not being fixed and nothing but lies. The last attempt was today, Joe said he was on the way first thing this morning, then at lunch time he said he sent some guy named Duane. At the end of the day, he swore Duane was working on the truck according to his gps. Video camera showed the guy was never here. Joe said Duane went to pick up a part. He promised it would be put on today and the guy never showed up. We asked Joe for a simple request which was to contact Duane and let us know if he was coming or not so that we could know whether or not to leave the office and go home. After waiting around for over an hour after work we realized he couldn t even do that. This is not bad service, this is terrible service!Service: Engine repair

I don t recommend it at all. It took the around a month to change the turbo and the actuator on my box truck. When they done and I went to get it the truck still not do regen. They told ne it s a sensor and will change it easily. He said he will order it and fix it. Every time I call him he says will arrive today. I call him next week he said the same after around two months he told me he got the sensor and tomorrow will be ready. I called him the next day he send I didn t get the sensor yet !!!!??. My brother went to check with him and told him he wants a real time, he got mad and threw the key on the desk and told my brother I will not fix it for you. Three months and the truck not done yet.

First time going to Music City and won't be the last! Joe and his guys went above and beyond. I had previously went to another place and was diagnosed wrong so I went over to Music City. Joe and his guys got me in and diagnosed properly. Not only did they find the real problem but fixed it in a timely manner. One of the mechanics (didn't catch his name) took my line and went to his house to weld it I mean who goes out of their way when they could've made money and charged me for a new one? As an owner operator it truly is the small yet big things that make a difference! Joe and his guys have a new customer in me! Whenever I'm in the area and need to be serviced this is the place I'm going to!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I just left the shop. I had to get towed in at 4:00am. They opened up at 8:00am and got to business. I ran over some chicken wire that got massively tangled up around the axle. It was the cause for the tire to blow and catch fire as soon as I arrived and parked in front of the cosignee. I had to replace a brand new $800 Michelin tire and miraculously, music city had one and they only charged me $200 because it was used and the tread depth was exactly the same as the damaged tire. Seriously. So they kept my cost down, as I had to replace other parts as well. But the owner and the mechanics were very pleasant, honest about service while cracking several jokes! I would surely go back and have them locked in my contacts for service. Good team! I would surely say give them a shot!!

I had a u-joint fail on a 2014 kenworth t680, it ruptured 2 air bags, destroyed my driveshaft, and took out 2 abs air valves. I limped it to the mechanic shop by engaging the front axle and removing what was left of the rear driveshaft. Got to the yard after 11 pm. The shop got to my truck first thing in the morning. They did great work, quickly, and for an amazing price! Would recommend!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I want to thank Music City Diesel Repair for helping me out when we were on our way to Florida in the motorhome. We stopped at my daughter's house in Smyrna for a visit. When I went to crank the RV the day before we were set to leave, it had developed a severe compressed air leak underneath and would not fill the air shock suspension. They came out on Friday afternoon, quickly found the defective part and tried to find a replacement so we could leave the next morning. It turns out that the part was not available locally until the following Tuesday but they gave me the part number so I could search for it. I was able to find the part in Jackson, TN and went Saturday morning to get it. When I got back to the motorhome I couldn't locate the location where the part had been removed so I called Music City again. They contacted the tech (Ron, I think) at home that morning and he was able to tell me exactly where the part needed to be installed. My son-in-law installed it and off to Florida we went that Saturday. Thank you Music City Diesel Repair for the much needed emergency service, prompt response and reasonable price. I really appreciate it and will not hesitate to call you in the future if anything else is needed on the motorhome.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance

On October 17, 2016 I had a radiator hose blewn . So when Music city Repair showed up I was hoping for him to put on a hose and I would go to my mechanic to have what needed to be done for a hose. The driver of Music city Repair told me that we could not be put on because it was rusted around the hose and it was against DOT policy to put it on and he called a tow truck...the tow truck came and I was towed to my mechanic.My mechanic told me that was complete BS that the first Music City Repair person did not put on my spare to only drive 20 miles. I was furious with the way this all went. It was aggravating and I was totally inconvenienced. Then I called Music City Repair back that afternoon to complain about this experience and the guy connected me to a supervisor of which I left a voicemail and I HAVE not heard a word from anyone to talk to me about my awful day. Thank you Music City Repair I thought after all the years and my first complaint that I would receive better service than I got. I need answers to why this driver would tell me a fabricated story of why he could not put my spare on...and then wait some more for a tow truck. Very dissatisfied. This Company Is One Ripoff stay away at all cause. They Charged me over $1000.00 for this BS.

I could've been screwed like no other, but this shop chose to look out for me. Easy communication, always knew what was going on. Did their best make sure I chose the correct tow company in the area. If you're brokedown around Nashville give Music City a shot.

10/10 highly recommend Music City Repair! I called ahead and they got my vehicle right into the shop and were able to tell me exactly what was wrong and my price range, which was very fair. The employees were all extremely nice, I have absolutely no complaints about this establishment! I will definitely be back if I ever need something fixed!

Blew a airbag on my rear axle I called them they said bring it in we will get u going. I got there and therefore a truck in the bay getting serviced so instead of having me wait they repaired my truck in the parking lot. It turned out that the airbag damaged a tire they don't normally do tire work but he made an exception to get me going he had a tire that was my size but it was close to its lifespan but still legal I asked what he wanted for it he said u can have it just pay the labor on the change out. I was beside myself with this answer I said are u sure he said yes .they also charged me what they payed for the bag no mark up at all everything done out the door for 330$ and only an hour and a half there and back on the road if u need work in that area go there u won't be disappointed .it's the most fair friendly shop I have ever been to bar none thanks guys .

First time coming through the area and needed road side service. I called several companies and end up happier than ever by using Music City. The were quick and very thorough and got me on the road quick. Very professional and great people to have work on my truck.

Picked up my truck I'm a Sunday afternoon. Said they had it diagnosed on Tuesday. Then didn't order the part till Thursday. Was supposed to come on Tuesday the next week. Then apparently didn't fix the truck. Had to call 10 times on Wednesday to get a answer. Was told we have 3 guys working on it call back in 2 hours. My calls were screened the rest of the day. Had to text these guys to get a reply. Finally I had the Ford place come get it after they told me they couldn't fix it. Went to inspect it at the Ford place turns out they never touched my truck. Had it two business weeks and lied the whole time. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE GUYS.

I'm an owner operator with over 2 dozen years of experience. I had a prolonged and ultimately almost bankrupting experience with Music City. They kept telling me for weeks that they were having one issue or another with finding and/or replacing my transmission, or that they were working on it. The details were meticulously detailed and plausible sounding, and ultimately all were lies. Since the next shop said they hadn't actually taken the transmission out at all, and absolutely NO question of it. And Music City said they had done so, and had been trying to put another transmission in. The original transmission had not been removed...at any point.The lies were from Joe, and some other individual who said he worked there and was Joe's twin brother. Which turned out to be two lies in itself...not an employee, nor a brother at all, let alone a "twin". Just a good friend.Basically, since I lived far away, and couldn't check on it, I had to go on their word. And the "stories" were all plausible. So I put up with it for an embarrassing length of time. Finally, they agreed to tow it to another shop...which is what I think, in hindsight, they had been trying to avoid the expense of. And it got done in a few days.Suffice it to say, unless you happen to luck out, like some people say they have in these reviews, you're better off taking your truck elsewhere.And if do you take it here, then keep on top of it, and take it elsewhere at the FIRST sign of any delay (for any reason), because you'll never be able to tell if you're being lied to or not, until it's been far too long for it to be otherwise.Joe is temperamental besides. If you ask him any question(s) other than the ones he wants to answer, look out!And they will ignore or block your phone calls and then claim their phone system had issues weeks ago and is still acting up. But if you have a 2nd line which isn't blocked/ignored, and you happen to get his "twin brother", then the "reasonable sounding" lies will start. And you'll never know that's what they are until it's obvious they have NO intention of ever working on your truck.Bottom line. There's better options in the area. Stay away!(EDIT...Reply to the owners initial reply) You're thinking of someone else. That was not me. I called you generally several times every week.

These guys are the best! I called them as soon as I broke down and they told me what to do and they repaired my busted radiator and gave me a great price! - star . Call this service to get my semi truck jump start. Was told someone will contact me in a HR. Never receive a call so I call back . i was told he on the way. 2hrs goes by I reach back out . guy says he pulling up. Ok cool . 30 mins later no show . so I called to see if he got lost , he block my calls. Highly wouldn't recommend. This business horrible with being transparent and professional.Service: Battery

Dont waste your time taking your diesel there. Replaced a sensor that was bad with the cheapest one they found and charge as if it was a good quality, sensor was even faulty. Took it back to them and told me it was the transmission, but i bet they didnt even check my truck. In all, spent 3 days at their shop. One day they replace the sensor. The second day it sat there. The third day i had to call them and went an pick up my truck. Took the truck to another shop and they knew what they were doing and fixed it. Really DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE GUYS.

Got me in right away after all the big shops said it would be a week before they could get to me. Had two studs break in my exhaust manifold that hold the turbo on. They weren't able to get them out in a timely manner so they removed the manifold and sent it to a local machine shop to get the bolts out. They stayed past 5 to get me back on the road and didn't charge me overtime. Fair guys would use them again.

Music City Repair is the place to go!!! All my problems I was having with my truck were addressed, explained, & kept for repair! Music City Repair was a Lifesaver TRULY!! Owner met us at the shop after business hours tonight, along with a way back to Paris Tn (2 hr drive) by one of his employees!! Very professional, knowledgeable, and truly caring during this inconvenient stressful time! If you haven t had your vehicle at music city repair I highly recommend you get it there!!!! I called for Road Service and was told mechanic will arrive in 2 hours. After 2 hours I called to get update on ETA and the guy told me that no one is coming because his mechanic called in sick. He is claiming he send me a text message which I never received.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. They had one of my trucks for an entire week, we spent over $6,000 (which they attempted to make us pay via Western Union....major red flag) with them and the truck is still doing the same thing and had to be towed to another shop who claimed a majority of the work that they did was unnecessary/excessive. I have 60 trucks and I don't care how much it costs me, I will never send another one of my units into this shop again. They are incompetent unprofessional at best and an outright scam at worst.

Have used them twice and was very pleased with their service. Gave them a heads up about what was going on and both times upon arriving they were really for me. Pulled truck right in and got to work. This is the worst shop i have every been to . They took my truck kept it for 3 weeks telling me every day they were working on it. Just to put a radiator in it . Told me he could not fine the right radiator for it then said he sent it to a radiator shop for repair. The owner Joe was the one lying to me the whole time. Then his mechanic Brandon said he would finish it up for me to pick up. Sent driver to pick up truck driver broke down and I had to pay a wrecker to haul it to Memphis!! The truck never was touched after 3 weeks sitting there!! I would not reccomend this business to ANYONE!! Anyone using this company BEWARE!!!!!

Here on vacation and our Chevy 2500 died on the first day. Coachnet towed us to Music City and we had a great experience. We got the truck back by Tuesday morning, we had a short caused by faulty fuel filter installation in Dallas. We had another issue wednesday, the 4th of July, and Joe came straight out. It was just air in the line from the repair and we werent priming properly. He provided a good tutorial, was open and free with information, and gave me piece of mind for the drive back to Texas. I am very happy with the service provided.

Called Joe the owner at 19:00 and requested mobile service in the morning Joe said call at 7:00 am to confirm it. Joe I go red and hung up on me for 8 times I called. I even tried alternate number and as soon as he saw my number there hung up... very unprofessional approach in dealing with trucking company with over 50 trucks.I do not recommend MUSIC DIESEL REPAIR BE AWARE OF JOE LIARService: Engine repair

Joe and staff are great!! I had a problem my original shop couldn't fix so i got quotes from at least 5 different places.Music city was the lowest $$ quote, they fixed the problem, and i recieved too notch customer service! Highly recommended!!

Had a great experience there with my truck! They took care of it right away and the major work that had too be done too it was tooken care of in a very timely manner! I recommend these honest working people too anyone!

I went to multiple places tongrt a diagnostics and they charged me this place did it for free. Hooked my truck up right away and found the problem in a matter of minutes. Took care of the problem and gave the best rate. Whenever I'm in town these are my guys I'd take there word and their opinions were free not for a fee.. Thanks guys you've earned my business.

Use them at your own risk. These guys charged a lot of $ for parts and labor that were never done on the truck. Over $1000.00 worth. Be careful and as with any major repair get a second opinion. Also be sure to check out yellow pages reviews on this company

LOVE THEM! 100% recommend. Joe and the guys in here know what they're doing and take good care of their customers. Great quality work and family owned and operated. They have great customer service and I was very pleased when I left. I would definitely come back here again!!
