This is a great Auto Shop. I have a high mileage Ford fusion that has a plethora of issues and they went above and beyond to correct them. They are personable and reassuring in their ways. Every one was also very polite and professional. If you're ever in need of a trusting and knowledgeable mechanic, this is the place to go to.

I took my car in because it was making some noises in the front end and I knew it was struts, CV, or a maybe a Tie rod. They charged $50 for an inspection, but if you get the work done then and there they just credit that to the work so no additional $50 on top of whatever you need. Dropped it off, they were really commutative about the car and how I could drop off and pickup. They did mention other work that they recommend get done and once I told them no, X, Y, Z was done 50k ago they were really good about not pushing for the money. They did exactly what I asked, just the struts and coolant and brake flush. got it done in a day! I wish they were open on a weekend day just for like an hour for pickup or something, but I get it, who the hell wants to work on a weekend. Overall, I really appreciated the work and the work overall costs just under $1300

What a blessing they are! I am from Michigan and was only in town for a couple days. When we got into Tennessee and my suv was having an issue these guys were able to get my vehicle in right away. Praise God it was only a sensor that needed to be replaced. So thankful for the kindness and servitude all the staff were here.

We really appreciate how they were able to get us in the same day for an auto inspection at a great price. They were thorough and went beyond to provide us info which helped us make an informed decision on buying a veh from a used car dealership in LaVergne. The inspection saved us from a potential bad purchase. They were great. Highly recommend!

These guys were great and wonderful to work with. I was in a pickle and my right front caliper was burning up my rotor. I was due to drive down to Florida with my Jeep and called them and they fit me in the very next day, diagnosed the issue and had me rolling again that night. I was extremely lucky to see this place. I happened to keep hearing a rattle in my car and assumed it was air vent, then an gentleman told me as I was parked- that there was a plastic something hanging from my car. I stopped at Morris Automotive because the guy told me I probably shouldn t drive far. The guy at the shop got my car up and said it was a plastic guard that was hanging down- just needed a few screws It was such a blessing to be told the truth, walking in by yourself as a woman in a shop can be pretty hard somedays. This guy helped me and didn t add on hundreds of dollars of repairs I didn t need. I didn t have a mechanic but now I do. It s refreshing to run into kindness and honesty. I know it was 2 screws for him but for me it was a giant thing and relief lifted off my chest.

Shop did the work in a timely fashion. But my only recommendation, come here with your problem already diagnosed. If you come here to get it diagnosed you will be charged a $100 fee to diagnose the issue and it WILL NOT be waived if the shop does the work like a regular shop.Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

Excellent job on my 99 Ford Ranger vehicle that was done recently. It needed a complete front end brake job and it was completed in one day. Greg kept me well informed about what repairs were needed to complete the job to my satisfaction. I highly recommend Bobby Morris Automotive to anyone who needs repairs in a professional and timely manner. My father was a mechanic and service manager for over 40 years in the Middle Tennessee area. He would be proud to know that a shop like Morris Automotive still exist. A place where mechanics still get their hands greasy and strive for customer satisfaction.

Bobby was very transparent, work was completed quickly and thoroughly. Prices may have been a tad high for labor costs and I had to call them to find out my vehicle was ready. Overall a good experience though.

I've been to a lot of shops over several years with my cars. As a "car guy," it's very hard to find someone that does work well and is honest and doesn't talk down to their customers. Mr. Morris has photos in the lobby of his own race cars, so not only does he know what he's talking about, but you know he cares beyond just running a shop. The communication is excellent, there's no high pressure sales tactic, they're honest, the work is done well, and it's done on time. On top of that, they're just generally nice people and always welcoming.I have finally found someone that I'm comfortable taking my vehicle to, which also means that I no longer feel like I have to do all of the repairs on our vehicles myself, and for that my wife is also grateful; with growing kids, those Saturdays are so valuable, and now I don't spend them sweating in the garage.If you dread taking a car to the shop and spending the money to fix your, just hoping it's done right so you don't have to go back, just go to Morris. It is a pleasure to spend my hard earned money with them, and within my community.

It is a great relief to find a mechanic you can trust. I have been using Morris Automotive for years and it is not uncommon for them to over deliver. Last week i took in my wife's car because the rear brakes were grinding. They quoted $220 for new brakes and rotors on the back. (Fair price for quality work with QUALITY parts, not the cheap stuff at discount places) When i picked up the car, I found out they had to shave or smooth out the front rotors to give a nice even stopping motion. The front brakes had been overheating because they were doing all the work. They didn't charge me for the front service. i understand they are a business and can't do everything for free, but I thought it said a lot about their customer service. They cared about the performance and I felt good giving my wife her car back in great condition! Great job guys!

Honest mechanic! Great quality work and excellent customer service. They really care about their customers. We are so glad to have found this shop. I just picked up my car from here today, and boy was I surprised. I guess it must be hard for the holidays there since they felt the need to lie to be able to nickel and dime me to death. I have had the vehicle for a year now, and have been there when all work except what they did was done. I usually have a trusted friend work on my vehicles so that I know what is going on, but couldn't do it this time due to him being ill. We had almost finished getting everything back together from replacing the knock sensor when we had to have it taken in. We were told that we had glued down the intake manifold gaskets (we did not do that BTW), and that we had hooked the vacuum lines to the EGR backwards (we had not taken off the vacuum lines to the EGR). They also had no reason to be taking the intake apart when all that was needed was a gasket on the water line from the upper radiator hose to intake, and the firing order corrected. What should have only been about $300 turned into just short of $1000. That is about it for the negative.Now, for the positive. The work that was done is great. The car is now running like it should. They only put about 10 miles on it to test it out, unlike another shop before that went through 3/4 of a tank of gas and about 250 miles on a 3 day repair (the owner of the shop mentioned that they really liked the car when I picked it up after...).I am not saying that they do bad work, but the story I got from them doesn't match up with what I have seen with my own eyes.

My wife and I have been using Bobby Morrison automotive for around 20 years. We have seen Bobby move 2 times, growing his business with each move.What has always kept us using Morris automotive , has been simple. Bobby''s honesty and integrity. He has always offered us quality work at fair prices. Simple!

If you live in La Vergne and are looking for an honest and caring auto shop. Bobby Morris and his highly skilled staff are the place and people you should take your vehicle to. I recommend them to all my friends and relatives when they need anything done.

I use to go to this shop. The owner Bobby Morris is a great guy. One of the Techs Greg, he is a good guy. All and all there good people there. There was one guy that does brakesthere, he wasn't very friendly, but I don't know if he is still there. I choose not to do business with this business anymore. They get most of there parts from KNOX salavage. Which is why I don't deal with this business anymore. Reason I know this is on several of my vehicles, I had to replace the same parts these guys replaced. And these parts will have a DOT on them. I guess that is what KNOX uses just in case you try to bring the part back and it isn't theirs. So that way they can identify it. Stay away. If your friends with him, I'm sure he treats long time customers good.

what kind of shop doesn t waive the diagnostic or electrical check when you HAVE the work done? and adds random $9 supplies charge.had high hopes for this place considering the reviews but feel completely taken advantage of. will never be coming back here, knew shoulda gone to my usual place on nolensville pike.a battery replacement was 180.00... that s so wrong. battery was 100. i get that, but an additional 80 and slap on label of labor/diagnostic is not right.was even said to me at the counter there is no labor it s just replacing a battery not to mention i just had a free battery test at autozone that said it was fine.coulda had a long time customer but the $70 was more important. lesson learnedService: Battery

These guys are just great. Super fast, very friendly and reasonably priced. I walked in to drop off my vehicle and spent a few minutes talking and getting to know them. I instantly knew I liked these folks.

for the past 18 years Bobby and his crew (greg, sammie, rick) have always been dependable and fair with all my vehicle repairs. i write this today because i had a critical situation arise thursaday and bobby and greg exceeded customer service and did not hesitate to help me out of a time sensitive repair. cannot say enough how they have all been not only great service providers, but also friends. thanks to you allServices: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Air conditioning, Oil change

I know it's hard to trust places now a days but this is one place you can trust and know the work will done right in every way.I do highly recommend Morris Automotive for your repairs.Bobby and Greg are both great to work with.
