Y all. Jim s Automotive is the real deal. They saved my butt today. Lost a cylinder on the interstate today (a Sunday) and they fixed me up in a jiffy. Good people, fair prices, just honest mechanics doing a great job. I would give em 20 stars if I could. And Hank the dog was the best.Y all - I made it home to NC with the boat in tow!!!!!!

They are awesome! We were almost 6 hours from home picking up a truck to bring back when it started overheating. Advanced auto gave us the address and phone number for Jim's, so we drove over and the mechanic on duty was so helpful and understanding and they even went as far as going and picking up the truck for us so we wouldn't have to call a tow truck and be out the extra expense. They called us the next day and told us what was wrong and that it was fixed. They made everything so easy and stress free for us, which meant so much to us. Definitely recommend if in the area and need a mechanic. Prices were great also.

This shop did a wonderful job of getting us fixed fast and back on the road. The alternator in our car starting having issues on Monday and by Tuesday night it quit. Jim's helped us get it towed to the shop and repaired the very next day.

My husband and kiddos were in route from Asheville, NC to Kentucky and heard a noise from under his truck. We'd heard it before, but just chauked it up to normal road noise. While pit stopping in Sevierville,TN, he heard it again and heard it louder. So, we found a Sevierville neighborhood mechanic. The place looks just like our own local machanics shop with cars all over the place. It's just a mom and pop type of garage. The kind you trust. The owner drove the truck down the road to hear for himself. He knew, right away, that we had a broken wheel bearing. He came back and jacked the truck up and showed us how loose the tire already was! So, even though we had just popped in, the team at Jim's Automotive fit us into schedule and located the parts needed and completed the repair and within just a few hours and we were back on the road! Excellent! Ideal service and experience.

Highly recommend this shop! Our Transit started randomly turning off while on vacation. They diligently tried several fixes before referring us to the dealership. We definitely appreciated him taking the time to try to fix it on a Sunday and would highly recommend the shop!

I can t say enough about these guys!! My family and I were coming home from meeting our Marine son and stayed the night in Kodak. When we woke up in the morning our Suburban wasn t running right. Jim got us right in and we had Junior fix our car and get us back on the road in a matter of hours. These guys are absolutely amazing and I highly recommend them!! Thank you Jim and Junior. You all are amazing!!! On top of that they barely charged me anything for the work!!

My alternator went out on a Saturday. We were supposed to leave Gatlinburg area the next day to beat a snow storm coming across TN. I told my situation to Jim's Automotive and they were understanding and more than helpful! They overnighted the alternator and had it installed by lunch the next day all for a very reasonable price. Their customer service is top notch and so appreciated. 100% Would recommend! Thanks Jim's Automotive team

Jim's Automotive is a life saver! In the middle of a long trip, on a Sunday morning, I found myself in Sevierville with a big screw in my tire. Thinking it was a long shot, I tried Jim's Automotive, just 1.5 miles off Rt.40. And, unbelievably, they had me back on the road in an hour!I was in a bind, things were looking bad, and with no fuss or fan-fare these guys took time from a ton of other work and saved my butt. To Jim and the guys working for you, thank you soooo much!! You are AWESOME.

Jim's Automotive was literally a lifesaver. No other car shop was open around me on a Saturday night. Turns out I needed my brake pads and a rotor changed. Dean was very thorough and showed me all the work he did. I really appreciate how kind everyone was and they really got the job done quickly and did it well. I will definitely be using them in the future.

We were here in early October in a street legal sand rail and the staff was amazing. They went out of their way to obtain a new computer for us and get us back on the road. We were heading from Virginia to Texas and stopped for the night near Kodak TN when we found the alternator had died. The gentleman at Advance Auto recommended Jim's Automotive. He even called ahead and let them know we were on our way. The guys at Jim's were expecting us, where very friendly, inexpensive, and had us on our way in about an hour. I m from out of town and my brakes were making the crunchy noises and Jim s got me fixed up!! They weren t expensive either which was really helpful because I had a low budget at the time. I am so thankful for these guys!! They are awesome! We were traveling from Pigeon Forge to Nashville when the engine protection plate under my car got loose. It was making awful rattling noise and we couldn t drive high speed on the interstate. This place was the only one open after 5pm on Friday night and they took time to remove the loose plate and get us back on the road. Thank you so much! We are at home safe thanks to you guys!

We had went to advance auto, told the young man Sam what was happening. He sent us here! These men are absolutely wonderful!! They are down to earth, kind, humble, very skilled and knowledgeable. They had us took care of.

Had emergency issue on a Sunday traveling through Tennessee. The mechanic at Jim's helped us in under 30 minutes and had us back on the road. Great people, honest and professional. Recommend highly.

Our family with a one year old and dog. blew a tire on the interstate just past exit 407 during the holidays December 23rd. Our spare was flat of course, and we re waiting on help from aaa which never came. After calling around I informed him where we were and my tire size and thankfully he was able to send someone to meet us, pick up the tire, drive back to the shop and change for us all for a fair price. They really saved us that night and I can t thank them enough! We would literally still be waiting on AAA service right now.

In the unfortunate event of your car breaks down or has issues. Take your car to Jim's. He was recommended to us by another mechanic. The guys there were really straightforward and really quick to assess the problem. And didn't try to take advantage of us. He's a super nice guy and we were so thankful for his help.

Heading home to Ohio our truck overheated. Jim's automotive stopped their work when we pulled in . Took us in right away, assessing and fixing the problem quickly. In less than 2 hours we had a new thermostat and was on our way. A big thank you to Junior and team of mechanics. Awesome place!

Jim and the crew at Jim s Automotive got me back on the road the same day I brought my pickup in after it broke down on I-40. Once they were done with the repairs they came to pick me up at the Bass Pro where I was hanging out while the truck was in the shop. A+ service

We are traveling from out of town and had emergency mechanical issues on the highway. This is the best automotive repair shop I have ever been to. I called and they were able to get us in very quickly. Our mechanic (I unfortunately forgot his name) was amazing. He went above and beyond for us. The prices were very reasonable and fair. He asked us before doing any of the work on our vehicle. He was very thorough and I could tell he really cared about fixing the car. We had to replace our tires and he went to pick them up for us because they couldn t deliver them the same day. He also installed our spare for us on a back rig we have set up. They tighten our mirrors and checked out all our fluids to make sure we would be safe on our trip. We also got our lights cleaned and buffed out and are very thankful we can see again in the dark ! Everyone in the shop was so wonderful. They were such honest and hard working men . We are so thankful for them and everything they did! If you are having any mechanical issues this is your place !
