I called the automotive department to inquire about new tires. Since the Google result only listed "Oil change service," I wanted to make sure I had the right place, so I asked if this was the department that does tires. The lady who answered the phone said "Well, this is the automotive center, so yeah" in a very rude tone. I said there's no reason to be rude, and she hung up on me. Definitely going elsewhere.

I came by today for an oil change only even though last time I had to wait 3 hours. Well, I got ignored until I finally asked the clerk inside for help, he was rude and told me to wait outside some more. I then proceeded to get ignored while a man with his daughter pulls up and gets their oil change in immediately. I ve never felt so disrespected. I won t ever come back to Walmart auto center ever again! Your employees need to learn some manners! And shame on y all for making a pregnant woman wait in the sun just to be ignored while you help customers that came in after me.

Always expect a wait, so shop and look around for 2 hours or get dropped off and pick up your car later. Most days are fine, and sometimes customers met with a little bit of an attitude, but most of the time they are polite. It just depends on who you get.Expect an hour or two wait, unless on there on a super busy day (like this day below). This one time recently. The ONLY time, so don't let this review hinder you from going, because the majority of the time it's smooth sailing, just the expected wait time. But for the first time I had a bad experience (which was a 1 star day). I had been called or called a total of 3 times that morning to check the status and then be asked if a certain tire replacement was fine since my warranty ("lifetime warranty of the tire") was out/invalid after a certain amount of tread left on the tires, but there's still over half of the original height of tread left. Then after they said okay it'll be ready in 30 minutes. (I called back once, because of a missed call and then this phone call.) I get there 40 minutes after the phone call to give a little extra leeway time. My car was parked outside of the garage but facing it, which I new was odd because they usually park the finished vehicles on the side or pointed away from the garage. I noticed my tire was still very low. I went inside to trade my ticket in for the keys. The older woman at the register was rude after she said your car's not ready (so they had removed my car completely after I gave the go on that tire they asked about and after saying it'll be ready in 30 minutes from the time of the call). But this lady with an unapproachable attitude, went to go check, just to come back even ruder just to repeat what I had just said the call was about 40 minutes prior, the attitude was well they called you and you didn't answer their question, wrong no communication from one employee to another and no accountability taken on their part after I had spent atleast ten minutes answering the other employees questions and saying that's fine I'll go with that tire on the phone before showing up. Anyways... about 30 more minutes or so, my car was ready. So it went from being the fourth car in line that day to maybe 7 or 8 in line, all because of the lack of communication from one employee on the phone to another. (The missed call was in the time span of seconds, then I called back and talked to the person for about 10 minutes, that's all.)

What a joke of a service center. I called to have 4 tires scheduled to be put on, the guy said bring it on in now. I showed up 20 min later and the girl said 'sorry but bring it back in the morning'. Ok fine, she was nice and apologetic, I get it. Brought it back in the morning and one of techs greeted me with "what do you want?" I said I need tires. He said he's not doing tires today. I told him about the my conversations with the people the day before, telling me to come now, and he didn't care at all. I know he didn't care because he told me. Super rude. It's a tire and lube shop, a very easy job and these people can't even manage that. What a joke.

I just needed a new tire placed on my vehicle. It was two hours before they even got my car in the shop. Then I waited 3 more hours waiting on a text message or a call overhead or anything saying my car was ready never got it. Had to have a friend drive me home after spending 4 or 5 hours walking around in Walmart because I walked over and they were closed. Worst experience with Walmart auto ever.Service: Tires

Called ahead to ask if they could swap out a battery since I purchased one through them and it was a faulty battery. They said yes as long as I got there before six I showed up at 5:22 and they refused saying that they were backed up. Yet when I called, I was told sure come on in as long as you re here before six so I drove all the way over there just for the guy in the shop area to tell me that they couldn t, and when I asked them why the guy answering the phone told me sure I come before six he said oh well, they re not the same as us. And when the guy answered the phone, he said auto center not just Walmart SMH if you have hours to a certain time you should honor the people that show up before posted closing time if you re behind that s not our fault.

It was all around terrible. No customer care at all. I complained to the people in the auto area, the store mgr. And even you customer care 1800 number. All I got was I'm sorry. Well I got to thinking they really were "SORRY". OK, so long story short. I order 4 tires online. Show up for my appointment, they are not even expecting me. They tell me they are closing. But I have an appointment I said. They looked it up. They will honor it they said. Great. They only have 3 tires. So, I want a refund. I will get tires else were. Can't do that. So now I have to shell out $4 or 5 hundred more to get tires else where, and wait for your refund. I got my tires at Tire Discounters with no problems and got a free alignment and a 10,000 mile more warranty. This is my second bad experience at Walmart Auto. I'm done. Ya get what ya pay for. What could have been offered was let me find another Walmart that has another tire. But no, I have to call another local Store that has 2 . So I order these 4 tires online, drive 20 miles, spend about $6 bucks for gas, waste 2 hours of my time, and what do I get ? 3 SORRYS. Let's see from you if I get another SORRY. WHAT can you do now ? I'll leave that up to you.

Don't go to Walmart, for anything. Literally the worst customer service in every conceivable way. Maybe if they treated and paid their employees adequately it would be a different story.

Took 3 hours to mount tires and to balance them. It's not an exaggeration to say they were a bit slow. There was no one ahead of us so we were a bit confused as to why it took so long. After it was done and we got our car back there was a hand print on the passenger seat. We immediately informed someone and there was a nice technician who cleaned the seat for us. I honestly wouldn't recommend this place if you are in a hurry. Even when we went to pay we had to wait for several people to ring up their groceries( you'd think it'd be common courtesy not to do something like that).Expect long wait times and okay service.

Never ever again will my vehicle see this service center. The guy at the service desk is extremely rude. The tech that was installing the tires clearly had no to little clue of what he was doing and when asked to put the tire with too much weight on the rear instead of the front I was informed I would have to pay extra for a tire rotation. The wheels were already off the car why should I have to pay extra for a rotation? Never again will I use this facility.

Paid for 2 tire replacements on 2 separate vehicles plus an oil change. They mounted the one for the vehicle present. They forgot to put the 2nd one in the vehicle. They completely neglected to do the oil change or put the sticker in (I found later the oil was still low and dirty), but yes, they still charged me for it. So tired of I don t care, let me rob you service. All this took nearly 4 hours when my SUV was in the bays within 30-40 minutes.

Auto care department told me it would be 2 hours to put a battery in my old truck. A customer offered to put it in for me and as he was installing it... a shiny Escalade was taken right into the service area with no wait at all. Meanwhile 2 service techs stood outside the shop and watched as my battery was being installed by a customer. Very nice young man helped me....Walmart was very rude.

For the second time in a month (I know, I should have gone anywhere else) it has taken 3 hours to change tires. This is a new corporate policy. They we're told they were taking to long on oil changes and to get their times down. Don't take you car to walmaWafor tires unless you have 3 hours to burn

After reading some reviews I experienced the same problem. They said it would take 1.5 hours! Shopped and went back and they hadn t even started. Then they told me another 45 minutes to come back and them tell me they couldn t change it b/c screw was stripped! I took it to another place and they had no problem! The Better Business Bureau should shut them down!Service: Oil change

Nobody answers the phone. Usually understaffed and desk was manned by person who knew nothing about products or services. I lost 3 hours, just getting tires balanced.

Unsure why this place has such bad reviews. When I thought my tires just needed balanced, they checked them out and determined that my two back tires were separated and needed to be replaced. They showed me pricing options and I called my dad to ask him what brand to get considering he normally deals with this for me. In the meantime, the gentlemen taking care of my vehicle told me which tire was the best for my money (which was actually the cheapest). They were not interested in getting me to spend more money than I needed to. Also, a gentleman waiting to get his oil changed said he had got the same tires over a year ago and they had been great. So thank you Walmart staff for taking supreme care of a college student who is away from home and her father mechanic.

This Walmart sucks! I bought four brand-new tires for my car from here. When they put the tires on my car most of them were bad tires from the get go. When I asked for them to evaluate my tires to see if that was causing the shaking in my car they decided to change one tire without my consent and expected me to pay for it. After about 45 minutes arguing with them I walked away without paying for the tire. The car continued to shake and so I came back and told them they told me my tire rim was bent and I needed a new tire rim. So I had somebody else give me a second opinion and they said that my tire and was not bent that it was bad tires. After a year of arguing with Walmart about my bad tires they still haven't replaced of them. So I went to a different place to get tires and imagine that my shaking in my car stopped. This Walmart is horrible they have bad customer service all throughout the store. I will never return to this Walmart for anything for my car again.

Great service but be prepared to stay awhile if your getting anything done later in the day. It took me over 2 hrs to get an oil change and tires rotated and balanced. They did do an air filter change as well though and that may have been what held them up this time.

Paid for the top tier oil change with the synthetic oil last weekend. I knew my back driver tire was low. Part of the service is checking and filling tires with air. When I got my recipes slip, it said all 4 tires were checked and the psi was 34. When I get in the car the low tire light is still on, and none of the four tires were above 30 psi. I drove back around and then they filled it. Don t trust what they write up. Also, what really pissed me off was the fact that when they were done, they parked the car and didn t lock it! I don t keep anything valuable in my car but seriously, lock the customers doors!!

Went to get an oil change and AFTER the service was finish they tell me I have a massive oil leak. I did not have a leak before I went in, and if so, I should have been told before they changed the oil so the leak could fixed first. I asked where the leak was coming from and the service guy tells me that he doesn t know and I would have to ask a mechanic, which I thought he was. Not to mention I was told it would only take 30-45 minutes, and it took two and a half hours. I would not recommend Walmart for an oil change

I had bought some used tires for my Jeep and went there to have them put on was told Walmart will not put tires on a vehicle if they are not the exact same size that you have on it. Even though six months ago I did the exact same thing with my truck and they were not the same size I guess it all depends on the mood of the person you're talking to and whether they want to work that day or not

The cashier had zero personality at all. He just scanned, bagged and gave me a total. No hello or nothing. The lady that use to work in automotive was great! This joker was terrible
