I cannot speak highly enough of Thomas Tuning and Service. They responded quickly to my service inquiry and provided a very competitive quote for the work I was looking at having done on my Q5. Having my previous German cars and current one serviced at a variety of high end performance shops, I can safely say this has been the best experience by far I have had. They are very respectful of your time, very knowledgeable of a wide variety of parts manufacturers and even better, they can even tune your car from a long list of very reputable performance tuners. So you are never stuck with just one tune, you have tons of options. Thomas Tuning and Service has just earned another customer in me, I will be returning for all my cars needs and future modifications. 5/5

I'd like to give a shout-out to the fine folks at Thomas Tuning and Service.I helped my wife buy a 2016 Mini Countryman Cooper S ALL4 earlier this year and a couple weeks ago the airbag light came on and remained on. I feared the worst since I knew the car had been rebuilt from receiving a rear end collision. I was quite reluctant to go to a dealer for service, but really didn't know where else to take it. I saw others recommend TTS for European cars, including Minis, checked out their website, and reached out via email since it was pretty late at night.Ginny got back to me via text (which I suggested in my email) and we discussed the issues I wanted checked out, which also included troubleshooting the wiper fluid system having a bad leak) and when I could bring it in. I got there just before they opened and they took the car right in.One of the technicians took me back to the Mini in the bay to answer some questions I had about certain behaviors we were unfamiliar with regarding each key having its own user profile and he showed me how to configure the settings.I was delighted to enjoy playing with their shop dogs while I waited. They were a lot of fun!A short while later, the tech came out to advise me that he had tracked the source of the trouble code resulting in the airbag light to a sensor on the driver's side seat belt. He had cleared the code and was going to take the car for a spin to see if it came back. Fortunately it didn't come back, but they said that they noted the condition in my customer record and if it returned, they would dig deeper. Next to investigate the windshield wiper fluid leak...They determined that the wiper fluid water pump's plastic housing had cracked on the inlet & outlet causing the leak and asked if I would like to replace it now or not. The price and additional time were reasonable, so I authorized it. They had to order the parts (pump & gaskets), but not even 15 minutes later the parts were received and being installed. Maybe 30 minutes after that I was settling the bill, which was quite reasonable, and out the door.I noticed a gorgeous Audi R8 in the bay next to my wife's Mini and commented about how awesome it was to the shop owner, Thomas, as he was passing by. We chatted briefly about what they were doing with it and how it was going. Also, as I was leaving, another customer was pulling in with a Ferrari F12berlinetta. Knowing customers entrust such exquisite masterpieces as those to TTS is quite a strong endorsement!

I took my 2017 Porsche 718 Boxster to TTS for a water pump replacement based on the five star reviews. After my experience, I thought I would add a five star review of my own. If you own a European make and want better than a dealership repair at a lower price, then this is the place for you. They used genuine Porsche parts, and only ordered what I really needed after performing a free no-tool inspection (using a borescope camera in my case) and providing a quote for the repair. I knew my water pump was leaking (discovered while I changed my oil) but didn't want to do the repair myself. It was well worth the labor charge to avoid pulling the catalytic converter myself (needed to get to the water pump) and to avoid the tricky job of getting air out of the coolant system on refill. The staff at TTS are super people who know and love cars as much as I do. Go there, and you won't be disappointed.

Phenomenal experience!! Brought my car to them, explained my issues, and they checked out my car for FREE!! They offer a 15-minute free inspection, who does that these days??!! Right there they had me at "Hello". In all seriousness, they had to deal with some very crusty-rusty bolts in the underbody of the car, and that caused some pain, but they worked through it. Thomas, went above and beyond, and printed out an alignment diagram for the car, which is a fantastic tool for any car owner to embrace! Honestly, by realigning my car, it feels like a dream to drive again!! They are in the business to help you ,the owner, and not take advantage of you. Thank you, Thomas, Ginny, Staff for a job WELL DONE!!Their pups are they to greet you as you enter the building, which makes you feel like FAMILY instantly.

Excellent experience! I originally scheduled a brake fluid service and ended up needing a brake light bulb changed, even though it was short notice, they were able to get it done with no problem. I will definitely be going back to get some other work done and will schedule all my maintenance there going forward. I wish I could give 10 stars.

BMW dealer refused to work on my car due to being more than 10 years old. Long story short I towed it to TTS and they were able to resync my CAS to the DME and reset the ELV counter to keep me on the road while we get a new CAS to reprogram and encode. Great work, honest people! 5 stars.

Thomas and Ginny are phenomenal! They did an engine swap on my GTI and were extremely thorough. I had taken it to three other shops and no one else compares! 10/10

Was traveling through Tail of the Dragon and needed maintenance badly. I'm towing a camper cross country and they totally understood I'd like the alignment done weighted in the rear. They also zoomed to VW to get some I believe alignment shims that had disintegrated. Best of the best service at an affordable price.

TTS is my new favorite shop for my Audi. Thomas is more meticulous than even I am, and I'm known for having absurd attention to detail on my cars. He's exactly the personality you want working on your performance car, and everyone at the shop is incredibly friendly, including the shop dog. The facility itself is like a first class lounge!

Thomas is a diamond in the rough - considering how hard it is to find an auto tech with his genuine care/passion for your vehicle, expertise, precision, and honesty(#1). Also, uses top notch equipment like the Hunter Hammerhead wheel balancer in his clean & renovated shop.The entire team at Thomas Tuning goes above and beyond for their customers - from the waiting lounge offering entertainment, cold/hot drinks, and snacks, to the generous consideration for repair costs and people s time.I highly recommend this local shop and will continue to use for years to come.

Had my VW Jetta serviced and they did an excellent job. They topped off the fluids and rotated my tires for me as well. Not many shops still take great pride in their work, TTS goes above and beyond to provide great service and a great experience all around. I m having somewhat of a midlife crisis so I wanted to get a little more excitement out of my 2016 GTI! I called and got some fantastic advice from Justin, which turned into an incredible experience yesterday with Thomas and his team.Not only did they convert my GTI into an absolute rocket, but I had a blast looking at all day incredible vehicles at the facility and talking to their team. These are incredible down to earth people that love cars, love people, and just make our community so special.I LOVE my GTI more than ever! It is like owning a race car now (while still getting 37.5mpg on the highway!) If you want to unlock your vehicle s full potential, and find some absolute thrill while driving, you need to call them!Oh, and I even got to play fetch, while I waited!

Fantastic!! I bought a 12 year old Volvo with higher miles to avoid having a car payment in this economy. As old cars do, something ended up breaking and needing repaired. Thomas was referred to me in an online mom group. Not only did they fix the problem, but they checked out the rest of the car and even refilled my windshield wiper fluid. The car runs incredibly better than when I dropped it off. They are also THE NICEST people ever. They even showed my mother how to start my car when she picked it up for us haha. If I could rate a perfect 10 I really would. I have never dealt with any mechanical shop that was beyond timely and efficiency. Hands the best experience ever, I even used to my own car dealership and mechanics. Hats off to having to thomas and his amazing staff. After a longer struggle with engine and brake performance on my Audi B5 S4 (twin-turbo), I visited TTS to discuss the issues. TTS did a very systematic and thorough investigation to find the root causes for the lack of performance. After eliminating a number of possible causes, they were able to determine and correct a number of shortcomings, which recovered a significant amount of performance. I was quite happy to have my car the way it used to be, and enjoy my rides again. Only someone with broad experience, the required test equipment, and the attention to detail would be in position to find these non-obvious weak spots, and eliminate them. This is my favorite shop in Knoxville for high end or European cars. I would trust them with any car as they have done a great job with my Ferrari F12. The staff is very knowledgeable, and they take price in their work. This is the only shop I would use in Knoxville.

Thomas and Ginny were top notch from start to finish. They serviced my '01 Audi Allroad by replacing AC compressor, aux fan and installed new brake pads and rotors. Thomas went above and beyond and cleaned up a few little additional issues for me to make sure the car was running well. Cannot say enough good things about their operation. If you've got an older German car and you're worried about letting strangers wrench on it, I can vouch for TTS. Thomas knows what he's doing and obviously takes pride in his work and Ginny was super communicative through the process. To say Thomas Tuning is phenomenal is an understatement but they really are more than phenomenal. I ve worked with other mechanic shops across Knoxville, Nashville, as well as other states I ve lived in, and I ve never had a better experience than I have with Thomas Tuning. We are thrilled with the work we had done at TTS. Our Audi A4 was in desperate need of a new set of tires and an alignment. We had previously taken it to the dealer or Euro garages and were thrilled to find a local small business to support with such a highly qualified professional! They were able to get us in quickly and stayed in contact through the whole process. We didn t realize how bad it had gotten until Thomas and Ginny showed us pictures! Thomas did phenomenal work - we couldn t be happier with the way our Audi is driving now. We highly recommend this company that went above and beyond to provide excellent and timely service. We will definitely use TTS for our Audi s future needs.

Thorough, honest, and fair! My wife and I were looking into buying an 08 Volvo V70 as a family now that we have an infant. Took it to TTS to have them look it over before purchasing, and they found that some repairs should be made for the car to be in tip-top shape.They explained everything they found to me and the then-owner, and that info helped us to haggle to a very fair price. (Even the seller of the Volvo commented on how thorough and fair the inspection was).We bought the car and took it to none other than TTS for the work which included a new set of tires (which Thomas walked us through the various prices and qualities of each), the 75K mile tune up, and repairing the leaking vacuum pump and hoses. This car is now what we drive everywhere as a family and could not feel any safer in it!

Was looking around town for a reputable shop and came across Thomas Tuning and Service. I spoke with Thomas for a few minutes and quickly knew he was the guy for the job. He and his wife are a fantastic team - their timely service and attention to detail are 2nd to none. The price was also more than fair. If you are looking to have repairs done or maintenance performed, I highly recommend you check them out.

Thomas does great work! Took my Toyota Avalon in for an alignment and he made all the necessary adjustments to fix the problem. The shop is brand new and incredible, if you have a Porsche, Audi, BMW, etc. I would highly recommend!
