I took my truck into the Fountain City location prior to a long drive towing a camper. Service went fine; employees were polite and seemed knowledgeable. The next day about an hour into my trip the "Low engine oil," warning light came on. That's weird, everything was topped off just yesterday. Upon pulling over and manually checking, the dipstick showed nothing. Not low, but no trace of oil at all. At this point, it's pouring rain (because why not), I'm an hour from home, and I'm on a deadline for this trip. I can now see oil rainbowing the rain water on the ground. Turns out there's a Take 5 a few miles away, so I make the call to try and make it there.I finally make it to the Take 5 (different location obviously) and at this point I'm low key freaking out hoping my engine isn't shot, hoping I don't seize the engine, hoping I'm not out a couple thousand dollars or more. Of course the entrance is incredibly narrow and I end up incorrectly judging the radius of the turn and catching the side of my camper on a traffic sign right on the very edge of the curb. I end up backing up but the damage is done ($1,500 worth I would later find out). I ended up having to go across the street and unhook to finally make it in, all while bleeding oil.Upon getting into the shop and explaining the situation, they dug into my truck and after 10 or 15 minutes I asked one of the employees what the issue was. His reply was "We figured it out and you'll be all set in a couple minutes." Funny I thought, that's not what I asked, so I pressed him a little more. At that point he got very evasive and really didn't want to tell me what was going on. Turned out that the employee the day before hadn't put the rubber gasket on the oil filter before installing it. Not good. The manager of course didn't charge me, but when asked if he would provide documentation as to the issue, was very hesitant. After quite a bit of prodding he documented that the oil filter gasket wasn't present on inspection.I of course called corporateto see if they would be able to help me out with the damage to the camper. AdmittedlyI was the one who damaged it, however, had their employees done their job the day before, I would have never been in that situation. Also, the entranceto the second location was a bit ridiculous, and the manager even stated that multiple people had hit that sign before but corporatewouldn't pay to move it. After a fair amountof back and forth, the corporateoffice basically told me that it wasn't their problem and that there was nothing they would do. The Fountain City location did call and offer to refund me which was nice. I went in, and after spending close to $300 on an oil change and coolant flush, they only refunded me half for the oil change itself. The managerliterallypulled out his calculator, went through my receipt and did the math to make sure they didn't refund me one extra penny. After all that, I wasn't going to really invest any more time into it until I went to get my oil changed today, for the first time since that whole mess. I took my truck to Valvoline (never again Take 5, never again) and a couple minutes in, one of the techs came to my window and asked me who the last shopto work on it was. I told him the whole story and as it turned out, the second Take 5 location had stripped out multiple bolts on theskid guard access panel and either forgot to reinstall one or didn't tighten it enough and it had fallen out. Definitelysomething Take 5 would have mentioned if it had beendone previously so as to not be blamed. They also hadn't washed out any of the oil that had pooled in the skid guard which valvoline was nice enough to do, for free, just to be thorough. All in all, just a very bad experience with Take 5 from top to bottom, start to finish. Hate to leave a bad review, but they're not messing up a $10 Burger King order, they'remessing with peoples vehicles worth tens of thousands of dollars and potentially people's lives if their negligence causes an accident, and they seem to do so without remorse.

Absolutely amazing service! First time customer and will definitely be going back. I pulled in and was instantly greeted by the shop manager, I was pulled into the bay and done in less than 20 minutes. They went over everything, showed me everything and made sure I was happy with it before continuing. Highly recommend!

They re not playing, take 5 means it ll literally take 5 minutes. Gage and his team were super fast, super nice, I didn t even realize they were done. Faster than valvoline, faster than jiffy lube. Even though I came near the end of their day they were still very nice. Absolutely will come again!

On my first visit, i was surprised by the high price of services, but after having a very pleasant experience that was quick, personal, and professional, i decided it was worth the cost to come back for my next oil change instead of a cheaper competitor. Again, i found the team to be great people who did great work and were very personable. However, i also experienced that they were out of stock of the oil i used during my previous visit forcing me to use a more expensive option and also out of the power steering fluid which was low in my vehicle. For the money i was being asked to pay, I can't accept inventory issues like that. I would have rather sent somone to buy the oil and power steering fluid from another store and brought it back than had a customer not be able to receive the services they needed. As much as I like and respect the crew at Take 5, I'll probably go elsewhere for the next service because I could forgive issues like i experienced if i was playing a lower price.

I stopped there for an oil change and an air filter change. The staff was not friendly at all. The only one who was slight friendly was the one who wrote my ticket up. The one who had the o change my oil was rude and hateful as if he hated his job. My receipt had they washed my windows. That was a big No! Could have used it since it was raining and been splashed on. They left dirt oil fingerprints on the front of my hood of my car. The person who put the oil in and changed my air filter said it was cracked or missing a screw when it came in. Lies! I tell you Lies! I ll never go back to that on Broadway in Fountain City in front of Food City and Big Lots AGAIN!

This place is amazing. The management was outstanding. Not only did I get an oil change but I got my coolant changed as well. And as predicted by the manager, it DID help the heater in my car run better. I am forever grateful to them. I now have heat for this winter. They are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and I will be a return customer for sure. This location gets a 5/5 from me!!!

Wonderful experience here. I came in because my last oil change was done by Valvoline, and I usually do my own, so when I tried to do it myself I noticed that my drain plug bolt was extremely overtightened and I did not have a way to loosen it. I explained this to the men working today, and they helped me out for free, even being as kind to change my oil when I only originally asked for the bolt to be loosened. They also replaced my original drain plug bolt with a new one, as the people at Valvoline had stripped it and left it to rust. Overall I had a really good experience here and the men working were very knowledgeable about how to actually change oil the correct way, and everything was torqued to spec. Quick service, would definitely recommend to other people.

I pulled in on a whim as I was driving by, found an online $20 coupon, and got my oil changed with no wait while I sat in my car. The employees were very courteous and friendly. They explained several options and details about the services that are included in the price of the oil change, such as the free top off service. They worked as a team, were professional, and got me back on the road quickly.

I was SO IMPRESSED with my experience at Take 5! I was in and out super quick! I loved that I could stay in my car, I was not pressured to buy anything extra or add extra services. The new manager, Gage, was super friendly and helpful. I won't take my cars anywhere else for an oil change!

Service was top notch!! Staff was so friendly...not pushy... very efficient and professional as well! It was very very cold outside... I felt so bad for them because they said there was no heat. They said that that site only has propane heat and they said it was too expensive to operate. Owners should be ashamed!!! It's way too cold to have no heat... the technician was trying to operate the computer keyboard with gloves and was shaking so bad.... he was shivering! Aside from that, the staff made this a very pleasant experience

So I ve been to take 5 about 3 times now. First two experiences were about average, but this last experience has me never going back again. They pulled me into the bay and then everyone went to go talk to another vehicle that pulled in at the same time as me. I waited for 32 minutes in the bay before the first person came to talk with me. (No, I m sorry for the wait or anything). I tell them what type of oil i want and specifically told them not to touch my tire pressure, not to check fluids. Literally just change the oil. Well I wasn t paying attention close enough and had one guy trying to sell me that my 2 day old air filter needed replaced while another guy was putting air in my tires. Of course my car was off so nothing was noticed when i turned it on to leave. About 2-3mins down the road, my car starts freaking out and tell me my back left tire was filled to 55 psi!! Just to note, it literally says 35psi MAX and this trained tech literally almost doubled it. AFTER I TOLD THEM NOT TO TOUCH MY TIRES. Luckily I was able to pull off to the side of the road and use the cap to release some air (also missing two of those caps magically now). 0/10 would never recommend bringing your car here nor will I ever take any of my other cars here. An hour to do an oil change and putting my vehicle and my family in possible danger is a quick way to lose my business and everyone i know.Services: Tires, Oil change

never going back again. long story short they did a oil change. They DID NOT put the caps and bolts back that they took off from under my car and about 3 days later my grandfather noticed my car was leaking oil in the driveway and the plastic cover that cover the oil plug was dangling from my car. we took it immediately to FireStone. The man at fire stone was in absolute disbelief at the damage and HORRIBLE work done on my car. he had to completely drain the oil and replaced it. He also had to replace my oil cap under the car. Which was broken, missing the seal and was screwed in sideways, all causing the leak. He had to replace 9 missing plastic clips. and they had to replace my cover that had been dragging the ground.Take five charged me almost $200 (187.81) for an oil change and an air filter.FireStone replaced my missing and broken parts done by Take 5.They rotated my tireschange my oilgave me new air filtersand detailed my car.ALL FOR $91.82any chance I get I steer people away from take five and it has been working.

Horrible attitude from what seemed to be the lead mechanic / manager on duty. Got an attitude as soon as I asked if they had 0530 synthetic blend. Said they don t even make that kind. Printed out my receipt before doing any work and it said tires were 35 front and back. I knew they didn t check them so then asked. I had 8 PSI in one tire. Then asked to check lights and all he said was We don t do electrical . I didn t ask them to work on anything I asked them to check the lights like every other oil change place I ve been too. Ive they did check the air filter they never showed it. Washer fluid was full so that s a plus. Most techs were friendly but could tell the tension and attitude from everyone from what seemed like lead mechanic.

Great people and I don't remember the guys name but he had black curly hair was very friendly and knowledgeable. My car dealer told me not to go to these places because of such a high employee turn over rate but, I've been taking my vehicles there for about 2 years and have had no problem. I guess they want me to just come to the dealer....I don't think so..lol

Figured we give em a try. So glad we did, courteous help with no up sale pressure. Redeemed an online coupon with no issues. Actually drained the oil and to my surprise the man in the pit asked for a new plug seal when putting drain plug back in. Complete opposite of our last experience at one of the local oil change franchises. ( see other reviews) Feel as though this may be the go to place, again staff was courteous and spoke to each other and really seemed to enjoy where they work and task at hand .Thank you gentlemen.

This is the second time I came here and this time the only good part about it was fast and easy. Price was more than I expected but staying in your car while they complete the oil change is the best !

Dropped in for an oil change yesterday an hour before close and had a wonderful, quick experience with nothing but friendliness from the 3 gentlemen on staff the entire time. Daniel was particularly kind and informative, but all were beyond great people. Looking forward to coming back again for all of our cars.

All of the mechanics were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and fast. I got an oil change and coolant flush and I was in and out within 10 or 15 minutes, which is very impressive. I will definitely be back because of the amount of professionalism that I experienced.

George and Shawn were great workers. They let me know everything I needed to know and even introduced me to the new boss Gabe at the shop. George is a big reason why I come with all my vehicles to this Broadway shop in Fountain City, Knoxville TN.

I'm typically a Valvoline guy, but stopped here because it was convenient and they weren't busy. I will not be returning to valvoline after my experience here because this place is awesome. They are super fast and friendly. They let you know everything about your car without being pushy and trying to upsell too much. The pricing is very reasonable, and coupons are available on their website. I was in and out in 5 minutes on a Saturday. If you just need a quick oil change, do yourself a favor and check this place out.

I went last Saturday to try and get my oil changed, they were unable to do it due to my oil plug but man the team they had was just so wonderful. So polite explained why they couldn't do it, gave me recommendation on where to go. Just all around good experience.
