Great company and the owners are amazing worked with us for 2 months while we decided to fix or sale our truck. Didn't even charge a storage fee. I would definitely recommend them again and again.

Can't say enough about this company and it's owners. They went out of there way on pricing different options for repairing my gmc. I couldn't decide what to do and they were very patient. I finally decided yo sale the truck after a mo th on figuring out what to do. I was onlycharged for the test they ran no storage fees noextras. These people are awesome.

10 out of 10. They Changed the turbo on my lb7 Duramax and I couldn t be more satisfied. Also want to add that pricing was fair and communication was great. Will definitely be a returning customer.

I was having an issue with 2003 Duramax 2500, I called the shop because I was just gonna have the truck towed in. I was explaining what was going on and they helped me get the problem figured out over the phone. I was able to get the truck running and I also know what part I need to fix it. Great shop that I will absolutely use in the future if and when I need it.

So I don t usually take the time to do reviews but in this case it s warranted. I ve kept my ear to the ground and eyes open with Smokey Mountain Diesel to confirm them to be a true quality knowledgeable shop .I must say these guy s are top shelf ! Very knowledgeable about most any light duty truck and care about the quality of work they turnout. This is NOT a cash grab shop but spin wrenches with honor and integrity so in the event you need anything, you can go with the confidence your getting the right thing done @ a fair price not the parts changing pros like others.My truck is driving and running like a champ !!!Thanks Guy s Service: General repairs & maintenance

These guys were great! I had a oil cooler going out in my 2006 6.0. The got it in quick, took care of the cooler and fixed some other things I had going on. This is the absolute best diesel shop in TN hands down! Great customer service, communication and reasonable prices. They also have some really cute shirts and hats! I highly recommend SMDP!!

For starters they knew exactly how long I would be in line to get my truck looked at. The said 1st of August and I love the fact that they held true to that timeline. They stay very busy at this shop, and its for good reason, They know what they are doing!I have had my duramax in 4 different shops and no one could tell me why my truck would shut off randomly and restart by its self just driving down the road, until I brought it here!It only did it a few times at first but the more I drove it the frequent it happened. It started getting dangerous because some times it would die completely and not restart for a few minutes. Imaging dieing in the middle of busy intersections pulling a 16ft trailer....it happened a couple of times to me.I had other shops tell me it was a bad ground, or a TCM or even a bad ignition or a PCM issue. The list goes on and on to the speculations but they could never find the issue. One shop even claimed they couldn't replicate the problem to keep from admitting their failures lolTo keep from making a long story longer;Smoky Mountain Deisel Performance figured out I had a bad fuse box under the hood. They put a new one in and now im back on the road! Thank you for all your hard work and knowledge.And for anyone else out there that has a 2011 LML Duramax with that issue, try replacing the fuse box under the hood. I researched this issue for months and no one ever posted a solution. I hope this helps someone else.

Never been in the place but it continues to pop up so I rated it 1 star. Can't say anything for it other than it continues to pop up asking for a rating. Sorry I couldn't help but I don't give good ratings unless I know for sure.

I thoroughly LOVE this shop!!! All of the members of this team are incredible!! They have worked on both of our trucks and have impressed us with their knowledge and expertise. They have demonstrated a genuine passion for what they do on a regular basis and deserve the recognition of being a quality diesel performance shop!

The first two times I used them they did good. The third time they either allowed my truck to get broke into or someone who works there did. I dropped my truck off earlier this year and told him I was going camping for Memorial Day and needed my truck to be able to safely get my family to and from the campground. Every time we try to pull a hill my truck gets hot. It does fine just driving around town but gets hot pulling hills. After 1600.00 this is ridiculous. Don't go here!

Took my 2015 GMC 2500hd duramax to them for some upgrades and add ons. Cody and his wife was really nice and down to earth people. He was super knowledgeable and helped me pick out with the best options for my truck. I'll definitely be back when I need something else done. Highly recommend!

After reading about the horror stories involving the Duramax fuel pump issues. I decided to take preventive measures and have the CP4 fuel pump up graded. I talked to Cody at Smokey Mountain Diesel Performance, he gave me many recommendations and options for my situation. We agreed on the upgrades I would like to have, I was then sent a very professional invoice showing all the parts and work to be done. They got me in the shop in the time frame we agreed upon and got the work done in a timely fashion. Now I have the peace of mind, that my 2013 Chevy Silverado will not have the catastrophic fuel system issues that GM is presently involved in a class action law suit for. Also, some of the upgrades involved performance enhancements, there is a day and night difference in the truck, they truly unleashed the beast. I couldn t be happier, I highly recommend this shop.Service: General repairs & maintenance

The entire team at Smoky Mtn Diesel Performance is awesome. I had someone vandalize my motor causing it to blow up and needing to be re-built. They had it re-built and added some upgrades too. I d recommend them to anyone with a diesel motor.
