This place is awesome! The service, the people, the whole experience was awesome!I had been needing a place to take my car to for an oil change. I normally have it done at Walmart while I shop but my last few experiences haven't been the best. So, I started Googling places to get my oil done but either the reviews were bad or prices were too high. Then I came across Slick's. I started reading through the reviews and liked the fact that someone said it was family owned. So, even though It's not the closest to where I live, I decided to drive out that way. I got to the location, as I was parking, a young man came out to ask what I needed. I told him I needed an oil change. He told me to drive over to the 1st "Bay" area and they would get me in as soon as the car ahead of me was done. I could see multiple people doing the work. A few minutes later another gentleman came over and got my info, my preferred oil type, that kind of stuff. After about 5 minutes the other car pulled out & I pulled in. I was kind of nervous pulling in over the open floor area but the guy in the front guided me in. As I was sitting in my car, they popped my hood & started right away. They were calling out info to each other. Then a sweet lady opened my passenger door & changed out my cabin filter. (They asked first instead of just doing it automatically, which I appreciate) They also let me know that my air filter probably needed to be changed because it was filthy (they showed it to me first). They checked and filled my tires, checked my wiper blades, belts & lights. They filled my radiator fluid, my washer fluid (which they let me know was cracked) & checked my other fluids. After everything was done the guy that guided me in preceded to check & call out that each and every cap/stick/cover was on & accounted for. After all was done, the man that took my info gave me my total. After I paid they guided me out. Maybe 35 minutes, give or take, in & out.There were several young men & a younger lady also there helping. It was the neatest thing!I will definitely be back and I will definitely be telling more people about my awesome experience!Thank you so much Slick "Family"

Both my husband and I take our vehicles to Slick's. All of the workers are very pleasant to interact with and make sure our cars are in tip top shape. We have never had to wait to get our cars in and the service is very quick. I love the extra benefit that they check all our fluids, lights, and tires. Would highly recommend!

I'm from Indiana, but needed a quick oil change while visiting some friends. Slicks was friendly, thorough, and fast. If I lived here, I'd use Slicks all the time.

I have been a customer for over 5 yes. My son and I both take our vehicles here. The owner and team are extremely kind, friendly and knowledgeable. Honest run business that is always willing to take care of their customers.I highly recommend them.

Mike and his crew were very transparent and made sure my mom and I knew all the correct terms and got the best deal for our A/C repair! They were extremely helpful, kind, and accomodating as well, 5/5 stars, will return and would HIGHLY recommend!

Absolutely love slicks in and out oil change. I ve had my AC compressor replaced with them as well as new brakes. They always give me the most competitive quotes and know they aren t trying to rip me off. Love supporting this local business.

I just went there today (first time ever getting an oil change at a shop) they were super nice from the time I drove into the parking lot to the time I left! I will deff be coming back! They also check a lot of things on your car when you pull into the bay.

I really wish I could give Slicks 10 stars. I truly love their team and they're always quick and efficient. Plus it's fun listening to their communications as they work, it reminds me of my own team at my job as a Line cook

Wow I can t say how thrilled I am with the quality work, fair prices and overall speed this shop provided us with! Great people, super friendly and organized! Got our Mini Cooper in and out in a day, air conditioner is working awesome and the car is running much smoother now with its new serpentine belt! Thank you so much for your quality repairs!

Drove down from Nebraska to visit family and needed to get an oil change before heading back. Based on other good reviews of Slicks I chose to take the vehicle here. I am beyond satisfied with the experience. The employees were all above and being helpful, experienced, and polite. Was in and out in less than 15 minutes. They did a full check and let me know what might need to be taken care of in the future but we're not pushy at all with any of the repairs. Overall fantastic experience and will definitely come back next were in knoxville. Thanks Slicks!

Total ROCKSTAR service! We pulled in, 3 guys and a gal came up to us, like a pit crew performance. I needed an oil change and cabin filter change. By the time I had walked my service dog they were done. No more than 15 minutes max! And ALOT less than most places. Also they pointed out an issue and told me what needed done, how much it should cost, and exactly what I needed to fix and describe it. Even if they don't do the work they won't let you get cheated. Knocked out an oil change on my truck today quick and so thorough it was awesome to see actual pride taken in a workplace like that better inspection than any other oil change facility two thumbs up for me will only use them for oil changes now !!!!!!!!!!!!

I ve been taking my suv to Slick s since I moved to Powell/Knoxville and I must say, of any place I ve ever taken my vehicles to, this place is my favorite and I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.Reliable, friendly, quick and honest.& much more affordable than many places I ve been to in the past.

These guys and gals are great! They are enthusiastic, professional, thorough, and quick. Oil change is a snap! And they fixed other unrelated issues like replacing my cabin filter. They also check lights and other fluids. In and out in no timeThey also do awesome repairs. Went in for a brake issue, and they replaced brakes and rotors for less than another place was charging for pads and turning the rotors. On another occasion, they looked into an issue with driver side heat on our minivan. The issue didn't reoccur for them. Instead of doing unnecessary work and billing me for it, they gave me an honest assessment and sent me on my way. The plan is to see if it happens again when the weather turns cold. If it does, I will definitely be back to have them do the work!I learned they are family-owned. I have searched long and hard for an honest mechanic. Glad I found Slick's!

No garage in the city gets better customer service! From the time you drive onto the lot everybody is always very friendly and informative on what is going on with your vehicle.The most impressive thing about this garage is, they re not there to rip their customers off! If your vehicle doesn t need it, they don t sell it to you, which is very refreshing!give them a try, and you will understand!Service: Air & cabin filter replacement

We have only used them for their oil change services, not for any mechanical repair yet. So, my comments are for that set of services specifically. We have used them numerous times, several different cars, and each time the experience was the same great five-star service. I wouldn't prefer to go have my oil changed anywhere else. You sit in your car while they speedily check everything thoroughly and professionally change your oil and top off fluids. They check air filters and wipers, but they never try to sell you on things you don't need or upsell you to the most expensive parts. They're not that kind of outfit. They are friendly and efficient. As the name implies, you are "in and out" quickly, but you never have to worry that they fouled something up (like not screwing the pan plug all the way back in or something). I highly recommend them. They haven't disappointed me yet. Also, the price is very fair. Just go check them out and see for yourself. If I'm wrong, you can leave and never come back, but I'm confident you'll drive away with the same assessment as I am providing here.Service: Oil change

My only go to business to get our oil changes. They are so cool to work with, my children love them. It is very convenient to stay in our vehicle while they work. Their prices are worth it all, and they have great quality products that I trust. Their courtesy checks are amazing and they saw a screw in my tire that I didn t know was there and fixed it for $10. They also let me know what else was needed soon and am very thankful for their professionalism. Will be coming back for sure!!Service: Oil change

Slicks is not only quick and cheap, but they have lots of women employees and as a woman customer I never feel disrespected or cheated/scammed by them. Their customer service is great, they re knowledgeable and they will educate you without pressuring you to buy anything extra. Highly recommend

My engine check light came on last Saturday night and my car started shaking and vibrating like crazy! I was able to get home, but it was scary. I went over to Slicks to get it checked out. They were very knowledgeable, efficient, reasonably priced and very nice people. They had my car fixed in no time. I plan to go back there for oil changes and for any other problems which may arise with my car. I definitely recommend them highly!
