I went back and forth about leaving this review because I wanted to believe they didn't try to overcharge me for their services. I went for a car running and smelling hot, which I already had the codes that told what was wrong, a leak. They told me they had to run their own machine which was fine, but they came back and told me everything else was wrong with the car. At the end mentioned a leak but it would be fine. They said I needed a new battery, belt, gas cap, and coolant. Even told me the labor was so high cause my battery was in the trunk (which is false), so my bill was almost $1000. Asked what would need to get done and they told me I absolutely needed a new battery and belt. So I let them do that and was charged $715. My car still runs hot and runs like crap, got a second opinion and low and behold it was a leak like the codes I gave them prior had said. So now I have to pay another $500 to fix my original problem and I feel like I got robbed. They used to be so trustworthy and honest and now they seem money driven and that's sad, because you'll lose a lot of business this way. I won't even go back for an oil change because I don't trust they actually change the oil like they say, the last time my oil light stayed on weeks after the alleged oil change. Also disconnected my antifreeze hose so all my coolant spilled out and I was riding around bone dry for two days, thank God for my male friends for peeping the game I just wish I wasn't out 700 dollars because of it.

This location has had yet another new owner within the last year and things have totally changed. Random charges are now added to the bill and every single thing is now 30-50% more expensive than it was 10 months ago.Unneeded and expensive services are now recommended and they will ignore problems with items covered by their useless warranty.Avoid this place. It's incredibly expensive and has become very shady.

Everyone there was super professional and kind. They were able to get me in the next day exactly when I wanted which was awesome. I went ahead and waited there while they did repairs and did some work from my laptop and they set up a little desk area for me which I thought was so sweet! Overall had a great experience.

Always appreciate the great work these guys do. They are reasonably priced, always courteous, and typically don't take to long to get a job done. I come for regular oil changes and some of the more intense jobs like internal engine work. All these guys are very good at what they do. And as nice as any place you'll ever meet. I recommend them to anybody for anything with wheels on it.

Used to love this garage, now they just scam women and older people apparently. Took our car in because the ac wasn't blowing cold air and paid about $700 to replace the blower. Got home to a car with zero antifreeze in it so they either never bothered to check or did something to drain it before giving it back. Now I come in with a car overheating and they have the gall to tell me that it's going to be another $800 to fix the radiator fan. Asked for manager to work on the pricing for something they potentially caused with their oversight or error(whichever there's no logical reason for no antifreeze after just picking up from a professional).Would not suggest anyone go here. Based on other comments it looks like they now tend to charge about $700 for whatever issue you have and will cause another problem in the process.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Air conditioning

Very friendly, knowledgeable and expedient. Also not too hard on the wallet either. We have taken 2 of our vehicles there for both minor and major work and we had one back while we waited, and the other within a day or 2.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Not only did I pay 700 dollars for nothing they also provided an overall uncomfortable environment, Top was a part of that. He made a lot of you wouldn t understand or i don t want to confuse you by explaining comments. He also blocked a parked car in with his truck as a joke instead of helping the kid mechanic with my car. I asked them to fix three things on my car, they only fixed my check engine light with an o2 sensor, which would be fine except it s back on only 3 days after paying 700 dollars for nothing. They also didn t want to discuss what they had done to my car, just insisted on me paying. Asked for a list of itemized charges and was told I can have it after I pay. To me that feels very scammy and strange. Will never be back and I will be recommending others do the same.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Auto maintenance

Once again, this place went above and beyond. My daughter brought her car in as she was having issues with her exhaust. Not only did they identify the issue, but Top found that the item had a recall. He could have easily ignored and fixed the issue at a huge cost to us. He instead allowed us to take the car to the dealer and have it fixed for free. If you want integrity and respect, come see the team at Precision

I did not catch their names, but the guys that work here are great!! I ended up having to have my knock sensor replaced in my Hyundai Tucson. These guys were extremely professional and helped me get my vehicle back on the road the same day I brought it in. I am thankful for them and will definitely be back when I need repairs on my vehicle.Service: Auto maintenance

I plan to visit precision tune auto care, I trust it is a very good place to go for it. Well done, whenever I done to get a happy ending, then I put down a great value review here. Is already here! What should you expect? Five star review for such good staff to be happens. Right on the track.

Manager towed my car without permission, costing me $500. Took our Prius to precision for a hybrid battery replacement, decided to junk out the car. Paid them the diagnostic fee, and the manager towed the car a week later. Said he texted me on the 29th, had no record of the text, and refused to give proof that the text was sent. Also would never call with updates on the car, had to call in myself. Dishonest, unprofessional, AVOID.

I've been going to Precision tune for a while, but today has been the worst experience. I arrived as soon as they opened, but I didn't stay to get serviced as the person at the counter and the mechanic gave the impression they weren't interested in a simple oil change. The front desk attendant started looking up parts after I told him I came in for an oil change which was great way to tell your customers their time doesn't matter. The mechanic stood at the front desk eating donuts standing around useless. No cars in the bays, no other customers, very disappointing as I have 3 vehicles I usually take there. If it's under new management, I will not be returning.

I am so impressed with this repair shop.When my vehicle started having an issue that far exceeded my own shadetree mechanic skills, I knew it was time to take it to a professional...and I got incredibly lucky when I picked Precision Tune. Jack is the nicest guy you'll ever meet, he answered a million of my questions and he actually engaged in a conversation with me to figure out how to get to the bottom of my car problems. After a pretty short wait, I drove out of the shop with my car running like brand new. The price was very reasonable and I honestly believe that Jack's only priority was getting my car back on the road running safely and properly- and he totally succeeded.This will be where I go for car problems from this point on, I have already told a couple of my friends what a great experience I had. If you're having car problems I strongly recommend checking this place out- it's easily the best customer service I've ever recieved at an auto repair shop.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning

This is for the Farragut location. They were fast, efficient, and very cost effective- i drive a truck that takes full synthetic oil and it was just under 70$ with a coupon off their site. Clean & very comfortable waiting area. They had a full house waiting when they came back from lunch and got everyone's cars back immediately upon returning and finished like clock work. Will definitely be making them my go to from now on.

Friendly staff. Quick service. Clean waiting area. Convenient location. Welcome environment for ladies. All personnel have always been gentlemen. The staff is not pushy about selling parts and accessories. I appreciate and usually will accept their recommendations.I tried another place once in the past but felt like I was interrupting their day. I never had a bad experience since using PRECISION TUNE, West Knoxville, during the past 20+ years.I am 71 years old, retired and a leg amputee. I really enjoyed Kane Covington at the front desk, because he was so trustworthy and efficient. Now, Precision is still decent, but now I find random charges on my invoice. I will be changing car shops.

Good place, we went to have my truck serviced. They were pretty quick. With no problem, they didn't try to sell us anything, they did put a new air filter in for me that I had already purchased, did even charge me for that. The only thing I haf trouble with was finding the store, it's very small and can't see the sign until you have already passed it. So wr had to turn around and drive back down the street. I would go back to the store again.

I ve always had a fantastic experience here at Precision, but Jack has kicked that great experience up a notch. I hope he knows he is doing a wonderful job!Not only have they always taken great care of me, but as I waited for my oil change in the lobby today, I watched him provide amazing customer service to several other customers here. They always shoot everyone straight and never try and talk you into extra services you don t need. But, they do make sure to tell you if they do see any issues and let you know your options.Plus, as a woman, it s nice not to be talked down to or treated like I don t know what I m doing in an auto shop. This place was absolutely amazing. The manager; Jack was extremely professional,courteous and informative about my car. He explained to me how to keep up maintenance at home as well as coming to see him on a consistent basis, he treated my car as though it were his own, and was not overpriced with the service given. The level of expertise and knowledge as well as labor given by him and his staff were exceptionally outstanding.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance

I left a review two years ago about this establishment. After I left the review I was contacted by upper management. We played phone tag, and nothing ever got solved as far as talking about the issue I experienced. However, the service they provide has always been excellent. I never had a problem with the service they provided. For whatever reason, it must have been a special circumstance there, the day I left the poor review. I wanted to let others know, the problem I experienced, has not been an issue since.In saying all this....the manager is always very friendly when I take my car in. The techs are always very fast and efficient. I feel my car is in great hands when I take it to Precision Auto tune on Kingston Pike.Service: Oil change

had a groupon for this location, showed up once and called 4 times over the span of a week trying to get an oil change. was told they were too busy every single time. not trying to be rude but an oil change takes like 30 minutes max and i called at least 3 hours before close everytime. kind of ridiculous they couldnt get me in at all for like 6 days in a row even when they told me to call the next day and they could. the guy was rly nice tho. but i think ill get a different groupon lol

Had a recent experience with David at this location and he was more than helpful! Went above and beyond for me, was honest about what needed to be done, and just overall super helpful and informative! Will definitely be my new go to place!

Honesty and value every time I visit this store. Whether for an oil change or my recent visit which involved replacing my air conditioner and alternator in my 2005 Ford 500. The work came with a 2 year warranty. As a former mechanic, these are some of the only guys I trust to work on my car. They are always so kind and helpful and they actually know how to work on cars. They have helped me with warranty issues, maintenance, everything.
