I cannot recommend these guys enough. My business depends on my vehicle, and they worked me in on an urgent situation and got me back on the road quickly. I ve also used them for scheduled repairs and they were timely and on budget. My only hesitation in recommending them would be that I don t want them so busy they can t keep working me in, lol! They even have a nice waiting area and clean bathrooms, and everyone I ve talked to there is super courteous. They will always be my first call to keep my Sprinter rolling.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

Bought a basket case 2005 Sprinter RV. It needed an engine, and turns out a lot more. They got me going. We left out mid June been as far north as Maine as far west as Chicago, south to Atlanta and the beaches of Sout Carolina and back again. Not a lick of trouble and 18 MPG. My family and I were getting limp mode issues with our sprinter van and we called lux auto and spoke to a nice helpful gentleman Sergio? I m not sure his first name but I told him the problem we re having and diagnose the crack intercooler hose on the phone what a mechanic unfortunately we couldn t stay an extra day to the mechanic to install it but we got the part and got back on the road.. we found a great experience mechanic Knoxville that is actually willing to help the customer instead of racking up a bill I will definitely recommend to my family and friends in Knoxville thanks again

Our friends were driving from FL to MI. Had Sprinter trouble near Knoxville. Lux Auto got the part & fixed it right away! We were making the same trip from Chattanooga when our engine light came on near Knoxville. They quickly diagnosed the problem, fixed it & had us back on the road in an hour. These guys are talented, smart & know their European vehicles!!!I give them a 10+++.

We were 500 miles from home in our Mercedes Sprinter when the check engine light came on. I called Lux, the owner answered the phone and said to come right by and he could read the code. He told us what the problem was, made his recommendation (in this case it was an emissions issue that was covered under dealer warranty) and sent us on our way. I truly appreciate his willingness to help us out on short notice. I wish we lived in Knoxville--this would be our go-to sprinter mechanic.

I recently bought a Sprinter and took it here because of the positive reviews. I was not at all disappointed! The owner is very nice and does a great job. In his spare time, he rebuilds Sprinter engines, so you can feel assured that they know what they're doing. My Sprinter runs better than ever, the prices are very fair, and the owner of the shop is honest. I would highly recommend them to anyone with a Euopean vehicle, especially a Sprinter!

My sprinter broke down over Memorial Day weekend. Everything everywhere was closed but this company responded on a holiday weekend and we re ready to get me back on the road Tuesday morning.

This is the best auto center . I have known them for several years. Always the best job Very nice owner. They rebuild transmission on my Sprinter about a year ago now it works perfect never had any problems afterwards. I take all my vehicles not only Sprinter to this auto service. I trust them because everything is always fixed and guaranteed to work perfectly . I wouldn't choose any other company.

We are very happy with the service received from Lux Auto Centre. Serghei and his team are Sprinter van experts! We had a fuel system issue that required towing from the mountains of North Carolina to Knoxville. We found Lux Auto Centre after initially having it towed to Mercedes, and super glad we found Lux Auto Centre.The communication was very professional with a detailed diagnosis and estimate, and updates on the repair progress. At the completion of the repair, we were shown the worn parts and exactly what had failed. We would highly recommend Lux Auto Centre. We live in the Nashville area but we will return to Knoxville and Lux Auto Centre for our Sprinter maintenance going forward. Thank you Serghei and team!Service: Engine repair

Lux Auto Centre and the family who runs it is amazing. My family are full-time Rvers in a Class B Sprinter 2500 Leisure Travel Van RV. I called late one day when I checked out of a campground about an hour away, started a multi-state trip in my RV, and then discovered a major oil leak. I couldn't find anyone who worked on Sprinters where I was, so I expanded my search to the next large town - Knoxville. I called Lux and they were so helpful and agreed to work me in the next morning. I spent the night in Knoxville and was waiting for them when they opened. First, I was very impressed with the massive lift which raised my heavy RV into the air - not just any small shop has that! The owner very patiently walked me around the engine with a pen light and showed me the many small leaks coming from a gasket. He also showed me hoses that obviously needed changing and cracks in my serpentine belt. He patiently explained every needed repair in terms I could understand. His quote for the work was very reasonable (probably a third, or less, what the Mercedes dealer would have charged). At that point I realized just how knowledgeable and honest they were, so I asked for some preventive maintenance while they had the engine taken apart. Due to the turbo diesel engine the work was very labor intensive and I was in a Knoxville hotel a couple of days, during which they kept me informed what was happening with the repair. They finished when promised and on budget. Now keep in mind - they worked me in to help a traveler! They had other repairs going on when I arrived, but I never felt like a burden. Since then I have driven the RV to the coast of Virginia, back throughTennessee and all the way to Ft. Lauderdale. Not a speck of oil has leaked and my Sprinter runs great. So great I'm going out of my way in a few months to to go back there to have my transmission serviced and some other preventive maintenance performed. Lux Auto Centre truly saved the day and Knoxville is very fortunate to have them.

These guys replaced my '06 Sprinter starter in April 2015 and it has not failed once in 3 years since. I've always remembered these two guys who look like brothers and really know their way around Sprinters. Too bad I live in Florida. I'd have all my Sprinter work done by them.

This is the most experienced knowledgeable sprinter mechanic we have ever found. And we travel from coast to coast. His charges are more than reasonable and he keeps a stock of new and used parts. We couldn't be more impressed!!
