Called interstate after getting a flat and finding a broken spring. They came next morning and replaced spring and changed flat . While changing flat also found broken wet bolt. Probably not the cheapest but for two guys ,parts and their time well worth it. Would definitely use again if in area.

We were visiting the Veterans Cemetery close by & our check engine light came on. We drove a few miles to the shop & the owner Jack is very informative & scanned the RV & advised us he would order the parts & get us back on the road the following day. He literally took us to the hotel & recommended the Restaurant next door which was great. We were back on the road midday. Thank you for making our mishap a pleasant one!

Interstate came out to work on the camper but after three hours they said they didn t know what was wrong. They charged us over $750.00 for three hours work and said they would return later in the week and at least get us cranked do we could get home. We called them several times to find out when they would return but they never returned our calls nor came back. Had to have it towed to Shannons twisted Garage. Shannons got it cranked and found some things wrong and repaired it. They worked on it for several days to locate the problem and charged less money for more time. Kudos to Shannon s

Repair work was good, but very expensive. They even charged me for their time when they went to get a replacement part they had incorrectly ordered. Serviceman was very friendly.

When you call them they do their best to send someone out. That is appreciated, but the appreciation ends there. The fellows were nice.I had an electrical short in my motorhome which rendered it unsafe to drive. They installed the multifunction turn signal stalk and the problem persisted. They would not continue to look for the short and left me with a bill of over $500.Shannon s Twisted Metal Garage happened to be in the campground and agreed to take a look. In less than 30 minutes the problem was diagnosed and fixed. I can now go home safely. Save time, money and aggravation and wait for ShannonService: Electrical

Small company out of Knoxville that does on-site chassis work on motor homes and RVs. Today (5/20/23) they installed my a/c compressor fan belt and receiver air dryer and flushed and recharged my chassis (dash) a/c on my 2014 Entegra Aspire with a Spartan chassis on-site at Sun Outdoors RV park in Sevierville TN. They would require you to take your MH to their shop if you have a Freightliner chassis because of all the radiators in the back. Spartan uses side radiators so the belt was very easy to get to. Adam and Matt did a great job, were friendly and cleaned up the site when done.Service: Air conditioning

Whew, yikes. They overcharged towing my RV by 2 hours. I called them the next day (today) and just got off the phone. I was originally quoted a price of $185 per hour, and I was ok with that. It took them almost exactly 3 hours to get my RV and bring it to my house and unloaded, even after airing up a flat tire (they told me after this happened, I wasn't aware it was flat). I have timestamps in my phone from them calling me when they were getting ready to pick it up and then when they got close to my house. They charged me for 5 hours. So I called, thinking we could easily work out the misunderstanding, but they got really hostile and nasty almost immediately. They said I had to pay to get their wrecker back to their business, which I didn't know at all. And originally I thought maybe that was a common thing and I didn't know, but my husband had been listening when I hired them and he told me they clearly said from pickup until disconnect. And even still, if I paid them to get back to Knoxville, I was still overcharged by an hour. And at $185 per hour that is a chunk. So over the course of the 23 minute phone call I was cussed at, insulted, and talked down to. Finally I had to just tell them that I would dispute the charge with my credit card company. It's ridiculous. I highly, highly recommend you go to another towing service if you can. These people are crooks and I wish I had called anyone else.

These two idiots came out to our house to look at our RV and fumbled around for an hour and a half only to tell us they didn t know what was wrong with it and we should have it towed to a shop. Not even their shop just take it somewhere else. Charged us $350. Never use interstate repair. It s a total scam and they have no idea what they re doing. Next day we towed the RV to performance truck Inc. in Racoon valley and Terry looked at it for about 15 minutes, found the problem and repaired it in under an hour for less than $100. It was just a $2 fuse. So if you ever need your RV or big truck serviced that s where you should go.Service: Electrical

We are on vacation camping in GSMNP. We were driving on a scenic loop in the park when we cut a corner too close and hit the side of a small wall. It immediately blew the tire on our camper van. Fortunately, we were able to pull to the side of the one way, one lane road. It was pouring rain with mud and boulders around the back tire so no safe way to change it. Called AAA and they sent Steven out. He was absolutely wonderful. He got our van on his flatbed truck and got us safely the rest of the way down the narrow road. It was too late to get it fixed so he drove us to Walmart in Sevierville so we could buy two tires in the morning. He even helped get the very large storage box off and back on the van when unloading our van. He was professional, very nice and so helpful. We are far from home and he made this mishap on our trip so much easier. I would highly recommend him.

Very quick, professional service. Had a transmission fluid leak on our VW Rialta RV. They made a service call to our location. Arrived and fixed the issue quickly. Both mechanics, Adam and Steven, were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Very impressed with this company and grateful for their quick service. Would definitely recommend!Service: Transmission

Our 36ft RV broke down on the side of busy I-40 with limited room in relentless pouring rain. The huge 18 Wheelers were not moving over and flying by us. We were terrified. By the time our Ins company connected us with this terrific company 3 hours passed. The two gentlemen in the tow truck were extremely competent and reassuring. They towed us to their shop in Knoxville and allowed us to hook up to power overnight. The next morning they quickly identified the problem and we we on our way!!! They are true professionals. We won t forget it.Services: Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Battery

I don t think I have written many reviews- but couldn t resist writing one down today. These guys are absolutely fantastic. Our AC on our RV broke last night and also the chassis battery died. When I called them Josh from the shop sent someone to help out immediately. They replaced our whole AC and got us back on the road in less than 2 hours. A little pricey-but worth it - great customer service. They also helped fix a few little things inside for free. We are back on track for our vacation!!

We were traveling through TN to FL with our travel trailer when a wheel bearing broke on the trailer. Gerald & Jacky drove more than a hour to take care of us. Repairs were completed efficiently on-site working together like a surgical team. We enjoyed meeting them and felt they cared to get us safely back on the road. We would recommend them to anyone.

We were traveling in our Rv on I-40 thru knoxville when the brakes failed. I was able to get rv onto shoulder safely. I immediately called the good sam number for roadside assistance for a tow. 3.5 hours later, nothing, yet we had spoke to tammy at interstate as she had a tow truck ready to go as soon as good sam approved the.claim. Nothing happened so i was able to limp the 7 miles to them. Arrived at about 3 p.m. and they started checking parts and working to obtain. Long story short, 4 calipers, 4 rotors and pads and we were back on the road at 5 p.m. the next day. Coach is 15 years old workhorse chassis and parts are hard to find. Jack did a great job along with his staff to get us back on the road. I knew the brakes were ready to go, and they did. Was glad that interstate was available. Small, local shop, charged a fair price for alot of work and parts. I told my wife what i thought it would cost us and i was within $10. It's damn hard to find anyone to work on an rv chassis, and even harder to find one who knows his stuff. Jack does! Dont believe the reviews from people who think fixing an rv is the same as fixing a toyota corolla, because it is not the same thing. It sucked we had brake issues, but we made lemonade out of lemons. Thanks Jack and Tammy for your help!

I unexpectedly needed a battery for my camper which is in storage. I stopped by here for the first time since moving to the area. The store is neat and clean. And the two folks working there were friendly and helpful. The gentleman who sold me the battery was knowledgeable about the different types of batteries and helped me select the correct fit and quality. The price was fair and backed by a warranty. I will be back.

We were on our way to Washington D.C when a couple of tractor trailers alerted us that we had a problem. We immediately pulled off the road and realized our rear axle on our camper had broken. We called Good Sam and they arranged for Interstate Repair Service to come to our aid. They arrived quickly (we were told it would be 40 minutes and it was only 15) and did a temporary repair that let us drive to their garage. They were friendly, efficient, and charged us fairly...especially since they came out in a blinding rain storm and crawled around on wet ground to get us back on the road. Our trip was delayed, but not derailed! Highly recommend these folks!

OMG do NOT have anything towed here for repair...our motorhome broke down and this guy came to our house collected 165 dollars said something was loose and it was fixed...my husband test drove it...it broke down again! So we had it towed to him 300 dollars later...then after a week he says he fixed a fuel pump on it...charged us almost 2000 dollars...it broke down AGAIN! Our friend who is a mechanic found the fuel pump we needed for a 117 dollars this guy charged us 600!! Not to mention 7 hours of labor which we know is BS...and a bunch of other charges terrible rip off artists here

We broke down in our rv in Niota Tn. I cannot thank this company enough! Our air compressor went out and they worked diligently to find a new one. This was a huge job and they had us on the road within 2 days. my husband's mom was very ill and they worked extra hard to get us going so we could be with her. "Mich" was very nice and did excellent work. If you ever need rv repair work done I would not hesitate to call them. You would not be sorry you did . The price was very fair they do not try to rip off travelers..

I called Interstate first thing on a Monday morning after learning on Saturday that my fuel tank was leaking while filling the tank. Being in the middle of a cross country RV trip with my family, we feared no one would be able to see us relatively soon and jeopardize our trip. Jack agreed to take a look at our RV on short notice. When we got to his shop, he greeted us like he had known us for years and immediately put us at ease. He took a look and within minutes explained what had to be done. Moments later, he asked what our plans were as the repair would take four to five hours. He suggested we rent a car and he would bring us into the city to pick it up. On the way, he recommended we pick up some lunch and drive through Cade's Cove. Jack was very friendly, respectful, and professional to my family and I. We had a wonderful afternoon thanks to his recommendations and were able to continue on with our trip. Currently, we are leaving the White Sands National Monument in New Mexico and none of this could have been possible without Interstate and their hard working and knowledgeable staff.

I was on my way to Florida when we stopped for gas off of I-40 just out side of Knoxville TN. As I started to fill the gas in our RV my wife saw oil coming out of the rear axel. I had all new breaks put on just before I left home and but did not get the gasket in correctly. I thought I would be stuck here several days but they got the RV right in and had us on our way in about 2 1/2 hrs. I would recommend these guys to any one. Way to go guys you get a 5 star from me.

While driving on I-40 in our motorhome we had a rear tire blowout. When the tire came apart it ripped a wiring harness out of a rear compartment. We called Interstate to see if they could repair the problem. We were told that they could handle it. They also told us that they had a pad with 30 amp electric service that we could use. We had the motorhome towed to their location and placed on the pad. Due to the enormity of the job, a lot of research was done by Jack the owner of the company and his staff. After getting part numbers and parts Jimmy our mechanic was given the repair task. There were about 150 wires that needed repair and Jimmy went through every one of them. He inspected each wire and replaced the pins that would eventually be inserted into the new sockets. We spent a little over a week at Interstate and were very pleased with their service. If you are on the road and need a great repair shop, give Interstate a call.

My RV was towed 15 miles and cost $550. I had it towed to Chattanooga for $1400. The math shows it was overpriced. People were nice but couldn't trust $10000 price for new transmission! Outrageous!

Techs were friendly and experienced. Was not advised in advance of minimum 2 hour charge making the bill over $400 just to have the dash A/C system recharged. The owner is experienced but appears to be more than willing to soak out-of-towners.

24 hours emergency service ---unbelievable.. These guys went above and beyond to help us when we broke down on i75 in our RV at 11:00 at night. We called everywhere and couldn't get any help. It was pretty scary being stuck on the side of Highway with my elderly mom and my 2 children. Not only did they tow us to the shop but we were able to plug in and stay in our RV overnight at the shop till they could get parts to get us back on the road. The price was more than fair.. the service was outstanding and I cant thank them enough!!!!

Can't thank these guys enough! Our RV engine quit on us smack dab in the middle of the road and they got out to us as soon as they could! We somehow got gas in our diesel tank and they had to drain it and clean and replace our filters and had us on the road again in no time. We're super grateful and would use them again in a heartbeat. Really appreciated the great communication and updates! Thank you!!

We had our motorhome towed to Interstate Repair Services while vacationing in TN. They told us the transmission was bad and they could replace our Allison transmission with a Jasper transmission for $6000.00. We chose to get a second opinion from Clarke Powers and it turns out it was a bad TCM. Interstate charged us $150.00 for their grossly incorrect diagnosis and would have gladly charged us another $6000 to swap out a perfectly good transmission with only 34,000 miles. This company takes advantage of people that are in bad situations with limited options. I would think twice about taking your RV here for service.
