The owner really reminds you what it means to take care of customers. Took my car in and had me fixed the same day and didn't charge an outrageous amount for the work.will take All further needs to this place

You can trust anything Mike Human tells you. He and his sister, Angie, go above and beyond to help people out. They are always super busy so it's hard getting in/out quick but that's bc they never tell anyone no.

This is the only place I trust with my car. Mike is a awesome person, his father was my father's mechanic. They are more like family. Never failed to fix my car right the first time. Prices are more than reasonable. Stands behind every job 100%. Most places only care about making money, they care about helping people and the community. Most honest mechanic you will ever find! He will do his best to find the problem and without overcharging. I had a metal clank when I shifted forward or back and when I pulled out or stopped. It sounded like it was under the car and was the transmission. You could hear it outside the car as well standing near it. Took it to Mike who when driving it said that he heard it too. At first it sounded like it was under the car near the back seat. Mike had me drive while he sat behind me. He discovered that the car jack that is hidden in a compartment over the rear wheel was loose and a bar of it was hitting another part of it. Anyone else would have had me paying for a new transmission or other expensive repair. My cost zero! I've been going to miles for 30 years for a reason. He is packed with cars. But like I've always said, if you see two restaurants and one has only two cars and plenty of parking and the other you can't find a parking place... Who has the best service and price? Mike has been my family's mechanic for years. He has always been fair and knowledgeable and beyond reliable. He won't do a single thing without consulting you or pre approval. Cannot recommend this shop enough. It is constantly busy because Mike is great at what he does so call ahead to get an appointment.

I mean these guys really are top notch. I honestly can not remember the names of either the owner, who is just fantastic, nor can I remember the fella's name who helped us, but the service was great, and it's a family owned business, so the money is local. The employees seem very happy, and they all seemed very professional and very knowledgeable. The customers were very happy, and had only good things to say.Now they have cars everywhere, so the appearance may not be the same as the corporate shops, but those places are missing a couple of down home touches I prefer, so I will be returning, and I highly recommend; if you need a mechanic who is honest and fair priced, going to Ray's on Western...Update.. 08/11/2022The owner's name is Mike, and he has become my go to on all kinds of things... Apparently his father owned the shop, and Mike took it over, so the shop has been right there for decades, and they; from what I've been told by the neighborhood local old timers , they take good care of everyone in the community in more ways than just being an affordable mechanic shop..I went in one day and a local church had donated a catered lunch at Mike's for all who were hungry... It was good too..

Mike is a great man. Honest, caring, and always fair. He will always provide you with the best service at the best price. He runs the best shop in Tennessee, and anywhere as far as I'm concerned. You won't find a better place to get your car fixed. All of his mechanics are great, especially Ray, he has always and will always be my favorite mechanic ever. If you want your car fixed or just regular service, and you want it done right for a good price, you better go to Human's Ray BP. Mike is really amazing. He has no idea how awesome he is. I have never met anyone with such dedication to his customers. He does such a great job at at a very fair price. Most mechanics don't care about anything but making money at the customers expense. Mike is the exact opposite, he cares about taking care of his customers cars and doing it right the first time. Mechanics like Mike are a rare find in today's world. Thank you Mike for all you've done for me and keep being just who you are and for being the best at what you do!

They are good for cheap easy fixes but the older gentleman couldn t tell a manual tensioner from an automatic and left all the bolts loose and the belt slipping (got charged $70 to leave my vehicle half broken). They swore up and down that I needed a new tensioner assembly. so I had to go to another mechanic to fix what he caused to break costing me another $180 and they wouldn t refund me the $70 from the horrible job I had done with them when I initially asked.Update: went there recently to get some work done thinking things would be different as it was something simple and it was botched by the same guy again.TLDR; Mike is a nice guy who knows what he is doing most of the time but he is too trusting of his mechanics when some can do a very lazy job costing you much more than getting it checked at a more thorough auto repair shop.Services: Transmission, Brakes

We broke down on the interstate was able to get to a restaurant off the exit. These wonderful people came and got us took us to our hotel got our vehicle done in a timely manner and picked us up from our hotel to bring us back to the shop! Very homegrown people and I highly reccomend this company to anyone in the area or traveling through! Service: Electrical

They never answered the phone, my car been there for 3 weeks just for diagnostic and they can't figure out I called them about 5 times a day and they never answered I need to go there and when I get there Mike is never there or his wife and nobody can attend me

My problem was solved by replacing the fuel filter but when I looked at my engine I noticed they had broke a few vacuum lines and other lines which they rigged to work but not the proper way. One of my sensors was no longer mounted properly and the hose they used to fix their mistake wasn't long enough for them to mount the sensor correctly. I feel I should have been told about the changes and that they should have replaced and fixed the problems that occurred on their part
