Had a one night stay over during the Holidays - we arrived on Christmas Day... late - and was pleasantly greeted when we walked in. The person at the desk was very nice and got us checked in right away. The room was clean and nice, a little bit small compared to other contemporary hotels, but we were only staying one night and have had worse. The location was great, close to the freeway, but in a great area of downtown. We did not stay long but were able to walk not to far away for breakfast. Quick a nice little neighborhood.Nearby activities: There is a nice downtown section very close that we really enjoyed.Walkability: Right in the heart of the city and we had no problem getting around on foot.

Overall, pretty nice hotel! Compared to other Hilton stays, the room could have been a bit cleaner, but was otherwise great. I was NOT a fan of the 2 inch gap between the bottom of the door and the floor in our room (you could see people walking by and we covered it with a towel at night. I m sure it was for fire safety or something, but I ve never seen this before and it made me a bit uncomfortable (privacy and sound wise).I do agree with others that this hotel is lacking amenities, but thankfully we were here for an event and didn t really need them.Trevor, the valet, was exceptional and was super quick to get our car for us when we needed it! You can tell he values his job for sure. He gets 5 stars from us!!

Everything about Hilton Knoxville is amazing! We are traveling with our pups, and upon checkin we were greeted with the kindest staff willing to love on and give our dogs treats. when we got to the room, there was food and water bowls, bottles of water, a baggy of milkbones, and a dog bed ready for our pets! this is the most pet friendly hotel i have ever stayed!

I stayed here at this Hilton April 12 and 13, 2024 because of it's proximity to an event I was attending. Check-In was ok but the ladies at the front desk need to attend "Charm School" to learn how to be more friendly and to be more informative. I was rushed thru the check-in as if I was bothering them. No one said a word about the restaurant on premises, nothing about how to use the self-park facility and they were occupied with secretive chatting among themselves. The room was a damn big disappointment. This is a Hilton and I expected quality! My female guest asked if it was too late to find another place to stay and in all honesty, I was thinking the same thing; but, yes, it was too late for us to get another nearby location. What the Hell Hilton? The bathroom was small, so damn small that the door missed the commode by about half an inch. One could not sit on the commode (I know this might be gross to some, but...) unless the door was shut but the point here is that the door got in the way of using the commode. The commode was blocking the shower/tub and it blocked the use of the sink. There wasn't even enough room to turn around in the bath room, seriously! The bed was comfortable and the room was average, not Hilton average but LaQuinta or Americas Best average. It was a 1 or 2 star room. Self parking was $25 a day and that is in a tight quarters garage adjacent to the hotel. Get ready for door dings if you self-park. I have stayed at Hampton Inns (another Hilton brand) in the Knoxville area that were much, much better than this Hilton. I feel as if I got cheated on the price and overall quality of this Hilton room compared to how much I paid per night. I WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN!

The service at this Hilton has been poor. At check in they failed to make me aware of credits/benefits food or snacks offered with my executive level room. The phones in the room don't work properly, can not call the front desk, had to use my cellphone, which is when I asked about the amenities. No service was available for dinner, they told me they were full but you could visibly see they were not full and plenty of open space was available and at the bar. I had to walk 3 blocks to eat dinner. Upon my return to the room the next day, my bed was poorly made up and disheveled, the bathroom trash was not emptied, the soap/lotion in the bathroom looked to have been tossed on the counter. The coffee cups were misplaced/replaced in a random place on the desk and not on or by the coffee machine. I did leave the iron out and I thought it would be put up but I guess I should have put it up myself. And the heat does NOT work. It is definitely NOT worth the stay for me.

Not pleased with this hotel. The stay itself was great. However, they offer $30 parking per night and I stayed two nights. I was charged by the hotel for the two nights and they said to park the second floor and above which I did. There is an app called Metropolis that scans your license plate when you come in and out of the hotel parking garage and it charged me an additional $85 for parking and when I contacted them they said it was a valet company but we didn t use valet. Also, I was charged a random $23.56 from the hotel and when I called to ask about it the front desk agent didn t do anything to look into it or help. Now when I look at my bank statement the charge is gone as well as the $100 deposit we made upon check in but it wasn t refunded. Just seems like they are trying to get as much money out of anyone as they can. Will not stay here again.

Great staff at the desk each time we needed help (once they came from the back). Room was just what we needed and was comfortable. We stayed here multiple nights and it may for a great home base.

My company booked the room because The location was great, but the hotel definitely needs to be remodeled. I had a handicap accessible room that smelt like dog and smoke , the shower nozzle was broken and gorilla glued on the wall.It was 20 outside and there was no heat in my room so I had to go downstairs several times because there was no phone in the room to call the front desk. We normally like this brand, but we will not book this again.Walkability: It was close to our meeting location, which was the best thing about this hotel.

We booked a room for 4 people -two adults and two teenagers (ages 15 and 14). Upon arrival, we were disappointed to find that the room assigned to us (402) had only ONE king bed for all of us. When we requested a room with two queen beds, we were informed that the hotel was sold out and no alternative arrangements could be made. Additionally, the room we were given had a very strong odor of dog urine, which made our stay extremely unpleasant.

12/28/23 - We booked a one-night stay at the Hilton last minute. We booked two (2) nights at the Marriott but after checking in we realized the room was in bad shape. We decided to cancel the second night and headed to the Hilton. The Hilton also needed some upkeep. The picture frame in the bathroom fell and glass broke everywhere. The bathtub drain stopper was dirty and the sink didn't drain properly. The rest of the room was great, clean and tidy. Customer service was great at the front desk. We hope you will please consider our comments and make some improvements. As a family, we give our stay at this Hilton a 4. Thanks.Rooms: The picture frame in the bathroom fell and glass broke everywhere. The bathtub drain stopper was dirty and the sink didn't drain properly. The rest of the room was great, clean and tidy.Nearby activities: French Market, square, several restaurants, and other tourist points of interest.Walkability: Good location. Close to everything.

Was a great spot for me and my kids on our vacation. We got ice cream down at the Cruze ice cream place. And she cannot forget my man Abraham was the valet who got the car from the first day, and we seen him almost every day while we were there. He worked hard and made the kids feel like With a valet taking the car. He was very professional, hard-working, and fast.Rooms: Clean and cleaning staff all spoke English no offense and were a delight. Front desk was also good. The girls and the guy also who was running it showed us a lot to do around the area

The hotel is lacking severely in amenities and services. I had more than one rude interaction with their hospitality staff. Their internet coverage is average at best, and their restaurant was consistently on a wait even with 5-7 open tables. As someone that stays in a hotel for 12-15 days per month, this definitely left a bad taste with me for the Hilton brand and I will never be staying here again.

I stayed here approximately 60 days throughout 2023. The location is phenomenal for the city, but while the lobby is always excellently decorated (game day, christmas, etc) somrtimes with group events, the rooms need some moderate cosmetic enhancements. The main thing holding the hotel back is the bar though. The food offerings are of limited number and quality, and the mixed drinks are bad. That said, the highlight of the property is the on-site Starbucks. The manager and her entire staff are sweet, efficient, and more knowledgeable than most standalone Starbucks.

Potentially the worst experience I ve ever had at a hotel. Had a brown stain on one of the towels in the room, the room smelled like smoke, and couldn t change the temperature of the water to anything less than scalding hot (no exaggeration). Booked through Expedia for $180 and then two days later was charged again for the room by the Hilton. Spoke with one of the managers who said they accidentally refunded me for the room so they had to charge my card to even it out. Never received a refund and now just paid double for the room. Called and spoke to Michelle in accounting/billing who said she would call me back. She never called me back despite that fact that it s been 4 days since we last spoke and I ve left her 2 voicemails. Entire experience was just terrible.Update: Day 10 since staying there. Still have not heard back from Michelle in accounting, had to email the general manager twice, and the issue still hasn t been resolved. The owner s response is simply a generic reply to make it look like they actually do something about negative reviews, when in all actuality the number they provide will simply take you to a guest services representative who can t help you. If you re looking for quality service stay anywhere but here. Horrendous.Update: Day 21 still haven t heard back from the general manager, Paul Jordan . I ve messaged him on two separate occasions asking for a reply and he s ignored me both times. Total cuck.

Overall, I'd rate it a 3.5 out of 5. Stayed here for 3 nights. They are renovating the rooms and it looks nice. No microwave in the room is definitely bad. Why give guests a refrigerator and no way to heat up what they put in the refrigerator??? The Starbucks and Marble City Kitchen are both very well run, and my wife and I enjoyed both. Very friendly staff here. It was decent, but they definitely need to rethink a few things.

Long hairs on towels. Metal bar under fridge came off hit my toes. My roommates key card wouldn't work got his fixed then mine wouldn't work fixed mine then his wouldn't work. Rude people in lobby working. People leaving only one person at desk and forcing him to do work when they could have helped. No ice machine on my floor. Microwave stand too low. Exposed pipes in microwave room. Elevators rickety and lights flickering in them. The restaraunt workers ignored me when I wanted to be seated. Left and didn't eat. Terrible experience.

Starting out, our stay at the Hilton was good, friendly staff, nice lobby and amenities, and couldn t ask for a better location in downtown Knoxville. Upon checking into our room I notice it had a bad musty smell, shower had what appears to be moisture ring in it, and the wall right outside our door had clear evidence of water damage and dampness. The room heater air filter was absolutely filthy, and the refrigerator sounded awful and rattled all night. I hate to be one to complain so I tried to make the best of the situation and ignore these issues. The first 2 nights I hard time sleeping, found black stuff on the walls in the bathroom too. I have bad asthma and allergies too, halfway through the 2nd night I had an asthma an attack and had to use my rescue inhailer. By this point I was ready to leave and go somewhere else. John at the front desk was very nice and understanding of my health concerns but because our room was non-refundable all he could do is move me to a different room. The new room was very nice and clean and well kept but apparently those on the 16th floor are usually reserved for Hilton honors members. As I m a nurse, I feel it s unacceptable to let guest stay in rooms in this condition. I ve stayed in Hilton hotels many times and this is not the standards I m used to at other locations.Nearby activities: Great location downtown

My issues arose a few days after checking out. I paid for nightly garage parking with the hotel but was given multiple parking tickets charged to my card. I contacted the hotel four times to correct these fines, and the staff agreed that they were in the wrong but that never resulted in a refund.I'm disappointed in what was otherwise a positive experience for my four-night stay since the rooms and location were great. Just beware of incorrect charges and a lack of follow-through from staff here, particularly concerning parking.

My stay at the Hilton was ok. I arrived late and was very tired from the long flight. I notice my room had a bad smell, I had a hard time sleeping. I found black stuff on the walls. The next morning I was able to switch to a new room. Staff was great. Restroom was to small, beds were uncomfortable. Dining staff were very nice. And cleaning ladies were great as well. Elevators stop working while I was there. My digital key card didn t work most of the time. Only great experience was the staff interaction.

The on-site staff here are amazing! The lady that answers the phones at the hotel is very rude. She had a very bad attitude the two times I called before our stay and the time I called shortly after our stay with a question. It was the same person every time. The rooms and bathrooms are outdated. The lobby is very nice. $30 per adult and $20 for kids breakfast buffet is too expensive.

This hotel is an old Hilton. It feels, smells and looks it. I realize I stayed there during a Tenn. home game so the price was higher than normal. Actually really expensive including the valet.Upon checking in, the FOM seemed to not like the fact that we booked through a third party. It felt like she was looking for the worst room to give us. The room was old and felt dirty. The first night the fridge was so loud we had to open it up and thus had no cold water. It was reported and replaced or repaired. The toilet leaked through the handle which didn't bother us but it did. The third day, the house keeper didn't replace our coffee, had to go down and request more. We were unable to log in to the wifi which was supposed to be free. Bottom line is I payed for a Hilton but felt like I stayed at a Holiday Inn.Rooms: Old and in need of renovation.
