This is by far the most dishonest, disrespectful, and unethical repair shop that I know of. Tony is a liar and the owner Bob is an unhonest business man that doesn t care about their clients. I initially brought my Jeep up there because it was in a minor front end collision and I needed some frame pulling to get everything back aligned. When I showed up Tony gave me a price range to get it pulled out. He said it would be anywhere from 800-1200$ I told him I can t do anymore than 900 and he assured me he could keep it around that price range. So I allowed them to do the service not knowing the tragedy that was about to unfold when I go and pick it up. He told me 3 days from that following Monday it would be done. So I called on the 4th day (Thursday) and they acted like it had been done and they just hadn t called. I come the following Monday to pick it up and nothing I asked was done and I realized how unethical the business was so I just wanted my Jeep back. Well I went inside to pay for nothing. They tried to gouge me with a bill that s over 1300$. I told them I m not paying that the work has not been completed and that Tony assured me it would be under 900. I raised hell enough for them to drop the price to 1000 even. But what is frustrating to me is they didn t pull anything. I have picture and video documentation showing what it looked like when I dropped it off and when I picked it up. It was exactly the same. Now I have the same problem and I m 1000$ poorer. Im looking into legal action against Fred s alignment . I hope this review will let people know how unethical and dishonest this business is. Stay away!

Just like a poster said below, I took my car in bc it was vibrating when I braked so I assumed I needed rotors and brake pads. I was told my control arms and steering assembly needed replaced for $2008. I decided to just drive until she fell apart. When the grinding started, I knew it was, in fact, brake related and took it to another place that said my steering issues were fine and charged MUCH less for brake repairs.Fred s, you have got to do better or you re going to lose trust then business. I m very disappointed and won t come back.

I decided to go take my car here because of the great reviews they had that told how trustworthy they were. I m a college student who doesn t have a lot of cash, so I thought I could trust their service. When I came to Fred s for a tire alignment, they told me that I needed to have both front lower controller arms and one front strut replaced. They quoted me a little over $1000. I had my stepdad and a local mechanic in my hometown look at my tires. Both said that everything looked brand new. After that, my stepdad took it to a different mechanic in Jackson, TN and asked him to look it over and align the front tires. He said that everything looked great and my tires weren t that badly misaligned. All this to say, I wouldn t recommend Fred s! I believe they tried to pull a fast one on me. The office was very nicely decorated with memorabilia from the Andy Griffiths Show. That s the best I can say.

They could have told me my car had a serious problem, I wouldn't have known the difference, but the terrible miss was because I didn't replace the gas cap when the lock on it broke and I took it off. They took care of it and serviced the car. What an honest business! Great price too. I'll feel confident bringing my older vehicle here for services and whenever I have a problem.

Very nice and fair pricing; will definitely come back and have my car serviced here from now on.Update 3/2022: still hands down the nicest and fairest folx with car repairs and oil changes. Love their transparency and how they will take time to explain anything to you should you have questions or concerns

I recently moved to Tennessee for work and was worried when my vehicle started making noises. Asked for recommendations and Fred s came up again and again. I was hesitant at first, but honestly am so thankful I went to Fred s. The work was done flawlessly and when I brought up another problem, they handled it too. Fair prices and just good people. Go to Fred s.

A well trusted business who has been in the Knoxville area for as long as I can remember going back 20+ years. Always fair pricing, always courteous employees and very knowledgeable about the job. They give great advice, show you the issue with your vehicle before touching or working on it. Susan and Tony have always been such a blessing to me. Great people working there. Conveniently located off I-275 on Central Avenue, in the new Happy Holler area. I would refer anyone needing alignment or other issues to this place of businessIf you find this review helpful in anyway, I ask you to please tap on the thumbs up button below saying this review is helpful. Thank you. Matthew CK

I rented a U-Haul from these people and they were VERY unprofessional about it. They had me sign papers without checking the condition of the truck and tried to reassure me that they knew everything about their trucks. The truck was literally beat all to hell.. The Initial payment was 75 dollars, truck had 1/8th of a tank, we drove the truck less than the miles of which we paid for and returned it at exactly 1/8th of a tank however the initial payment of 75 dollars has somehow disappeared from my bank statement and been replaced with a charge of 130 dollars as well as another charge of 35 dollars. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE FOR UHAUL SERVICES!!!

I was having problems with my Toyota Sienna Van,And we were told that it was the fuel pump I called Fred's Alignment and the very nice lady she said tgat we can bring in at 9:00 AM on Monday. We had been told by someone else that it was the fuel pump. Come to find out it wasn't the fuel pump it was Vac Leak at the intake.I just want to Thank You so much Fred's Alignment for your honesty and getting my Van running again. She is running like a brand New auto. From this day forward Fred's Alignment will always have my business.I cannot Thank You all enough.

Took my truck there and they wanted to charge me $957 for 2 motor mounts & transmission mount & upper and lower control arms & 3 ball joints and my husband & nephew struggled 4 hours to get a motor mount out and my truck didn't need any of the mounts. They were going to rip me off. Never will go there again.

I was given an estimate of $485 by a Toyota repair shop in West Knoxville. For repairs. I was refer to Fred Aligiment Service live long Knoxville resident.Shortly after taking my Toyota Camry in for inspection, I was told there is nothing wrong my car. It required some adjustments, lubrication and a spring.Total cost $46.76. Note:I also returned the part which I did not need for my repairs and was refunded and additional $25.35 from Auto Zone.Needless to say, I highly recommend Freds Aligiment Services. They re real mechanics an honest men.Go to Freds Alignment Services.

Went there yesterday (12/2/2020) and tried to get an alignment on my 2002 Mustang. They took me back in the shop area and wiggled my passenger side wheel with it up in the air (I don't know if the steering wheel was locked) and told me my inner tie rod was bad. Well, I bought the tie rods from Advance, and before I started taking everything apart, I had my Dad get his opinion first. I had the wheels up in the air like the dude there did, and my dad wiggled both of the wheels (not just passenger), and there was no popping noises and no excessive play. Only play was with the steering wheel being locked they will move just a tad bit either way. And then the steering wheel was unlocked and it had more play but obviously it did because of the steering wheel being unlocked. Now, if they were on the ground and all the weight on them you can't move the wheels by hand. That's common sense if you ask me. Plus, my front tires would've been ate up by now after driving 72 miles (give or take) in the past 2 days because I work in Clinton. How would I know that? Oh let's see, my Dad had a 2005 Mustang that had bad inner and outer tie rods one time. And it ate up the tires in no time. I learn some of the stuff that I know by experience. I may look like I don't know what I'm doing, but trust me, y'all have no idea what all work I have done on my vehicles. I have done 99.9% of everything. They may not have been done 100% right and professionally, but since it's my vehicle, my theory is I can do or break whatever I need to get the thing fixed that I need to and fix whatever I broke right after. I know that seems kinda stupid, but sometimes I have no choice. The only things I ain't done on a vehicle are dissecting a motor and transmission (but I have pulled and replaced them), tie rods, steering rack, and replacing a quarter panel. Maybe others that I can't think of right off the top of my head, but I do know how to use common sense. Yes I may not know what the problem is right off hand, but after I ask my Dad or look on the internet, I repair or replace it myself most of the time. I may need a tad bit of help from my Dad, but most of the time I don't. If only I had the equipment to do an alignment then I'd do it myself so I wouldn't get screwed over into replacing something that don't need replaced. Good thing I thought of asking my Dad for his opinion even though I knew there wasn't a problem afterI wiggled the wheels myself. Just know I will NEVER choose y'all to do an alignment (that didn't get done in the first place) EVER AGAIN!!!!!!

I was lured in by their bait-and-switch oil change ad for less than $50 for an oil change, which turned into $75. I now deeply regret the 2 $400 each repairs they said I needed. In addition, I was told twice that the tire pressure gauge was malfunctioning and that my tires were fine. Even that came with attitude because I dared to doubt the technician's word. He never even looked at the tires. A few days later I had a flat tire! All Tune and Lube on Broadway has my business now.

Excellent forks. They been in business over 60 yrs. Honest as the day is long. They tell you a time price etc, you can bank on their words. In this day and age, that's a rarity.

Not sure if dishonest or just incompetent. They sent me out twice in a vehicle that was dangerous to drive. Don't trust them to be able to take care of your needs.
