I carried in a noisy motor for evaluation. Less than 24 hrs later, the motor was repaired at a reasonable price. The motor has been operating normally since repair. Great service from Electric Motor Services!

The team at Electric Motor Services are Awesome. I called about a pool pump that stopped working. I was told that if I got it to them early today they could possibly have it done by the next day. EMS called me before I could get back to work from dropping it off with great news. The pump was fixed and ready to go for way less than i expected to pay. EMS will forever be my got to repair shop for any thing electric motor wise.Thanks Porty and Team.You made my day better then you will ever imagine.

I can do nothing better than tecommend EMS. Just recently took a motor in for repair and parts were inadvertently lost. Porty did what he could to resolve my issue. Very satisfied with his efforts.....

I am very pleased with my experience with this business. The bearings in my pool pump suddenly needed to be replaced, and I discovered EMS while looking for a cheaper option than buying a new pump. I was able to drop it off one day and pick it up the next, so they saved me on my downtime as well. Friendly people doing a good job, and went as far as even calling me to let me know that my repair was going to take a couple hours longer than originally expected.I highly recommend doing business with this company, and will absolutely give them my business again when the need arises.

This place is just flat excellent for motor repair. My 3hp Powermatic 66 motor was overheating and I needed it fixed in a hurry. Mr Foster did a complete diagnostic work up, replaced defective parts and had it back in my hands later that same day. Superb customer service, personalized work and knowledgeable competence. We are fortunate to have this kind of shop in Knoxville. I won t go anywhere else.

EMS did an awesome job! I was in a huge bind with a machine down and they jumped through hoops to get my motor diagnosed and repaired and had me up and running again very quickly. I was glad I found them!

This place is a gem. Small, knowledgeable, fair. It's every old school shop you wish to find, the kind that are disappearing these days. Will absolutely continue to bring work here without hesitation.

Service was done a year ago......They rebuilt a 7hp Waterway hot tub motor for a 1/3 of the price of a new one. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Will give future business for sure.

It was a half hour drive in from Dandridge, but worth it! Explained my situation with a 60-70 year old original motor to same vintage drill press I wanted to keep 'original'. Porty didn't try to push a new motor on me, in fact, we both wanted to see it remain on press. He checked it all out, and gave me numerous pointers to alleviate power problem I was having using a forstner bit to hog out oak for clocks. It worked and his price was reasonable. It's almost a step back in time.....the shop itself, and Porty's respect for the customer. Kinda hoping some other motor goes haywire, so I can take another field trip to his shop!

let me start by saying I cam in with a worn out furnace blower motor that was way out dated porty went well above and beyond customer satisfaction to help me got a new updated one for me wired my pigtail in so it would be just plug in play these folks are great would recommend it you need electric motor repair this is your place !!! porty is a blast to to talk too and a real hoot ! check them out !

These guys really get service! They helped me out with a bad pump seal and replaced it right on the spot! I am a building engineer and have a lot of motors, pumps etc. to service. I will bring all my stuff here for now on.
