Nice people but I thought the price of service was a bit high. They did a good job and got me rolling and that's what matters.

The Cummins engine on our 2014 Itasca Ellipse had a small front main seal leak, so I took it to this shop to get it taken care of. Price was high but I expected that since so much labor is involved to get to the front seal on a diesel pusher. Took the coach back home directly afterwards and that's where it sat for 6 months. On our first trip out, it was blowing oil all over the tow gear and our toad, and in the first 600 miles I had to add 1/3 gallon to the engine. It eventually slowed to where I didn't have to add oil as often, but it was still coating everything with oil. When we finally got home again, I took it back in for them to look at. They determined that it was their fault, and even though it was well past the 90 day warranty period, they corrected the problem with no additional charges. That's the mark of an honest dealer in my book. I won't hesitate to take my coach back to them or to recommend them to others. To those complaining about their prices, keep in mind that a class A diesel pusher presents special problems for an engine repair shop. Unlike a super C, there is no hood to raise up to gain access to the engine. In a pusher, the engine is facing backwards and buried inside a body with only one small access panel on the inside of the rear of most coaches. To get to the front of the engine, the radiator and other support equipment has to be removed, and that is quite a bit of labor. For an owner, being aware of the special problems presented to a shop when maintaining the engine on a class A pusher goes a long way towards explaining the labor charges involved.

Being a new owner operator has been a learning experience to say the least. After i bought my first truck and took it to two other mechanics first, with very poor experiences. Then I spoke with Chris at Cummins. Let me be clear, he Isn't your friend. But he is honest and gets the job done. That's more than i can say for most.

Like someone mentioned before. This place is highway robbery. I took my RV in to have the generator looked at after servicing it myself (oil change/ spark plugs/ filter) due to it not starting.. The guy drove it around the building, was back within 10 minutes and said I needed a carburetor. Billed me $160. (I might add that this facility also refused to allow me to watch the tech so I could see what to do as far as trial & error for future reference. Also, the lady working the front desk seemed like she would rather be anywhere else on the planet than there working with the general public.) I got a print out of estimate costs including labor for a replacement of $1k.. Do yourself and your wallet a favor and drive your vehicle 15 minutes down the road to Interstate Repair Service. Luckily, I did and my generator was running within 20 minutes of being there. The tech there walked with me to the generator and the receptionist went above and beyond to find a part I needed. Will recommend Interstate to anyone I know with gen issues in the area. Cummins is a joke.

Great service and knowledgeable people. Had problem with cooling system on my Motorhome and they repaired it to my satisfaction . They are very busy so don t expect to get your problem fixed immediately, or cheaply , but it will be done correctly.

You would think Cummins would be able to work on there own engines but evidently that isn't the case at all. Took 4 fleet vehicles to be fixed and 1 out of the 4 we're fixed. Had one particular vehicle over there 4 times for the same issue. They charged an arm and a leg to fix things that weren't wrong and said they would take care of it free of charge for the hassle and get it fixed right. They made everything good and we took it back to them to give them a chance to correct their mistake but when it was time to do the work they called and wanted a large chunk of money again. Gave them 4 tries and a large chunk of change later we still have a vehicle that had the exact same issues as when we took it to them. They admittedly don't have anyone on staff to test drive anything before they call to tell you it's fixed. This place, especially the service department is a joke.

Broke down on I 75, was towed to Cummins on Saturday morning. Plugged into there 50 amp power. Monday morning talked to Chris, ( the shop manager) at 7:30. He fit us into a busy schedule. Brandon, our mechanic had us repaired and back on the road in one day. Kudos to Chris and his team

While traveling thru Knoxville in my motorhome my sending unit in DEF tank failed. I called Cummins Sales and Service. They told me to come right in. I plugged in to their building for the night while the part was on it's way. The following morning they installed the part and we were back on the road. Thanks to all of you. Friendly, knowledgeable, great service.

Brought RV to get generator running. Spent over $2000 and then told the compression was bad and I needed a new generator for $5000. No discount based on the money thrown away. Brought RV to another Onan repair---fixed for a few hundred dollars and the compression was not bad.

Went in to talk about Onan generator service and parts and Damon on generator side was very professional and helpful. Labor rate is high but that's not his call.

Needed to have our onan generator on our RV repaired, engine turning but won't stay running, scheduled appt to have checked, 830a, 11a-our GPS indicated RV was moved to repair area, 2p-Recvd c/b from Bob Austin, estimated $950 to repair, suspected magneto? Generator needed to be removed from RV? Told that repairs might cost more if other repairs needed??? Decided not to repair, will get Honda generator instead, agreed to pick-up RV, upon doing so was told that I needed to pay $288.00 for Cummins opinion??? This is Hwy robbery! Unheard of if no work done??? I don't think this will be in agreement with BBB!

Friendly helpful staff, especially the outside service guys. Have no hesitation recommending these folks. Just wished they worked on Eaton transmissions...I could give them a ton of work!

I have a motorhome with a Cummins 400 engine. I have replaced the turbo and associated parts 3 times within 16 months (8,000 milles). After pulling over on i75 south of Knoxville with flames and smoke coming from the exhaust, I called Grayson at Cummins Customer service and had the motorhome towed to Cummins in Knoxville. Chris, Mark and Grayson worked to make sure the problem was solved for good. They even had Cummins engineers involved in the issue. It took almost 3 weeks but I am convinced that it is now solved. They even covered most of the cost under warranty.

Woman at parts took 20 minutes to even show up which I am willing to understand when someone is kind, but this was not the case she then was extremely rude and then seemed agitated at my presence. Worst employee interaction I ve had in a long time

I'm a local person and went there to ask how much it would cost to do an in frame on my 400isx and they gave me a price of 27.000. I guess they don't need any local people.

This is not the place to have work done on your RV....prices are ridiculously high and the fees are crazy.
