Professional communication, it felt very much like they held the customer in high regard, and listened to my needs and opinions. They drove us to our house after the tow truck dropped us off. I was very impressed by the inspection. The documentation and photos that were provided to show exactly what they were concerned about and how they gained the data they did. They then communicated numbers up front about what each thing would cost. In all honesty the amount of things on my vehicle was a bit overwhelming and the cost was a lot. However, that s because my car has a lot of issues genuinely. They respected my no on several repairs, but took the time to inform me of why they would highly recommend a certain repair due to some very good reasons. I trusted the recommendation to be genuine and not a way to get more pay. In the end the issue I came in for was resolved and I m thrilled. I was also thrilled with the price. The cost of the labor was well worth the experience of working with Christian Brother Auto. It s been a lot of years since I ve had a mechanic I was confident in returning to. Bring me a lot of confidence knowing they ve got my back.

I am always impressed and pleasantly surprised whenever I take my car to this location. I like how easy it is to make an appointment online. The moment I walk in I am greeted by multiple people. Their shuttle service is so convenient especially for someone who moved to Knoxville and doesn t have a ride immediately available. Once they even called me a ride share to drive me from UT so I could pick up my car.I cannot speak highly enough of how professional and knowledgeable their technicians are. I have been to many car repair places that have taken advantage of me or made my car issue worse. CB were able to diagnose my check engine light even with multiple codes based upon what I told them and didn t suggest anything extraneous. I love the vehicle inspection report they text and email you with pics from the car so I know what needs immediate attention and what I can wait to fix. I know CB always has my back and cares about my safety. I had an issue with my headlights, and even though the issue didn t present itself when the technicians inspected it, they wanted to make extra sure and checked several times. That level of care is difficult to find.I can always trust this location with my car. 10/10 would recommend and return.

I took my 4Runner here today for an oil change. They gave me a courtesy inspection, a courtesy shuttle ride, and even fixed my headlight! They offered me coffee and had snacks available. It was an incredible experience at a mechanic shop. Other mechanics I have been to have tried to manipulate me into expensive purchases that I don t need, on the contrary, I loved my experience here because it truly felt like everyone I worked with had integrity. Ron, Justin, and Victor were all such a joy to work with!

My family and I love Christian Brothers. They absolutely fantastic! They are so knowledgeable and helpful. They do not upsell you for things you don t need and try to give you help and time to decide what the best next steps are for your vehicle. One time they also left me an Almond Joy in my car that said It s a Joy to serve you which I thought was so goofy, but it made my day! Just them going the extra mile. They are also willing to take you to work or help you get places that you need when your car is being worked on. It s a dependable, kind, and well-run shop in mine and my family s eyes. I am beyond grateful and impressed by how CBA has handled my repairs. I am so glad I took my Honda Pilot here. They went above and beyond to make my vehicle safe and a lot more comfortable (it s older and has many quirks). Highly recommend!!

I have had good service in the past. Unfortunately, I wasn t given that opportunity today as a result of Employees not answering the phone. Call twice at separate times, no answer.Also, I know what good service is and good service is providing someone at the counter with service, And also answering the phone, asking the customer if they wouldn t mind to be placed on hold while they finish up with the person at the desk. Then there s the point of Me calling when it s convenient for me not you.

Update: Since this last recommendation I have been reached out to about my experience. It seems they genuinely care that their customers are happy with their work and services.. This post was never about getting anything back from them, it was simply to make people aware of my experience, however in an effort to ease my frustrations at the situation they refunded part of what I paid. Justin went above to try and rectify the situation and make both parties as happy as they could be and its the extra step like this that I appreciate and what made me edit my review.I do NOT recommend. At first, I gave these guys a mediocre review I wasn't happy but I wasn't unhappy. I had work done on my car in October, and the people that I talked to were pleasant and seemed to know what they were talking about, I appreciated the customer service they offered as a first-time customer that's always a plus. However I did think their prices were too high, but that's neither here nor there for me.. it wasn't until today (mind you I'm a single mom of a 4-year-old, so I haven't had the opportunity to see this until today when I was cleaning my car, as I am always driving and my daughter sits in the back, not the passenger side up front) that I officially decided I will never go here again or recommend anyone here. I spent way more than I could afford to, almost 250 just to have my car looked at and then some to have a few repairs done, I just sucked it up until now, I figured I could've shopped around before settling here, so that was my mistake. However, I noticed today that the insulation that is attached under the glove box of my passenger side up front was left detached and there is an air filter cover (that I googled and turns out it goes behind the glove box) that was also left off by the technician. I didn't pay as much as I did to get my car back in worse shape than it came in. Smh

And got it all done in 1 day before my elderly, diabetic dog's vet appt, despite the fact that I had never been there and only called them about an hr before my appt I had scheduled online on their website the night before. To say I was in dire need of immediate help is an understatement! On my way to work, in the pouring rain, my brakes failed. I was able to make it to Christian Brothers and they went above and beyond to help me! They quickly diagnosed the problem, drove me to work, and restored my brakes (ruptured brake line) by mid-afternoon. Everyone was so kind and reassuring during a very stressful time for me! I wish I could give 10 stars!

took my car in within the last week to have some maintenance done and Gavin was such a big help. I kept bombarding him with questions about my oil and my tires and he knew all the answers. He was very friendly and very knowledgeable. If I were you I would ask for Gavin s help if you have any questions!

Quick scheduling, friendly & efficient service with transparency and reasonable prices. The waiting room is comfy and bathroom is clean - they ve got all your pit stop needs covered. If you live locally, they offer a pick up/drop off service at no charge as well.

Christian Brothers Automotive is a safe and practical place to have work done to your vehicle. They are professionals and treat you fairly. And as a bonus they have a kind and free shuttle service. I will only return to CBA for all my car services.

My second time here. I am very impressed! It s very clean, the waiting area is nicer than a doctors office, the whole staff is fast, efficient and very professional while Ron the manager was exceptional! I felt like a valued customer, not a number. I will definitely recommend Christian Brothers!

I am very angry with this place My dad told them to fix the motor oil leak And I still have the motor leak. I got videos of where the leak is coming from and they should have found their self it comes out when the cars running. I recommend no one go to this company if they need a car mechanic. If I could give no stars I wouldn't give any they are disgraced company to the Knoxville community and the company's name makes me laugh......

I took my Transit Connect in for some transmission shifting problems and was happy with how easy it was to get the appointment scheduled. Everyone was courteous, well spoken and clear communicators; the mechanics are all certified, highly trained and experienced as well. When I received the detailed report/evaluation, it also included pictures of my vehicle which to my knowledge no one else offers. They recommended a complete transmission rebuild for almost $8k, which I thought was super high so I checked with another transmission shop (Marshall's Transmissions) and was quoted $3.8k plus the owner actually recommended to wait on the rebuild! Imagine that. (Since the shifting was intermittent and there were no error codes it didn't have to be addressed immediately - the owner drove my car around himself for 20+ miles). I don't think Christian Brothers was being dishonest but rather they like to "fix it one time" - I practice to which I can relate.All in all, if you're thinking about Chri$tian Brother$ Automotive, just be prepared to pay for the $ervice and all the amenitie$ that come with it. It might even be twice the price as some of their competitors (that are just as highly trained and experienced).

Excellent service. Checked alignment to see if it was in need of alignment prior to proceeding. Staff was very courteous and front desk area was clean and neat. Nice waiting area with leather furniture. I would highly recommend!

Hello Knoxville Vehicle Owner Friends!My 21+ year old Toyota Tundra (Todd), like myself, is getting old, has 340,000+ miles on it & still going strong - thanks to Christian Brothers Automotive (CBA)! As the original owner of my pickup, regular maintenance & tire rotations have prevented many major repair expenses but age has caused some major repairs to pop up this year & last. I live on a limited income, they understand that, doing everything they can to provide the highest quality repairs & maintenance at reasonable prices I TRUST CBA & know they will always take care of my big man! Oh, & not just Toyotas, I overheard a service staff member on the phone the other day explain they offer pretty much every repair and/or regular maintenance service for any car, truck, or van; including commercial vehicles! WOW, that s prideful confidence CBA staff & technicians are always friendly, helpful & always greet you with a smile! My CBA friends actually listen to my female explanation of what I feel might be up & take care of it in a prompt, efficient & professional way; without making me feel like I don t know what I m talking about CBA also does NOT try to sell me something I don t need. My old truck is my lifeline & pays my bills; I need to be able to count on their honesty & workmanship-because we all know vehicle repairs can reach into thousands of dollars & still not get to the root of the problem or cause more AND most if not all repairs by CBA are warranted for 3 years or 36,000 miles, which ever comes last. YES - last CBA is crystal clear when explaining & prioritizing necessary repairs & also provide a written estimate in advance always right on the money; or call you about any hiccups. They are very busy (a great indication of their high quality services) & have a very clean, pleasant waiting area with healthy snacks! Your vehicle might need extended time so CBA offers efficient, time saving appointments and/or an appointment APP, just call or drop by! My favorite offered service is an awesome personal concierge service - their in-store, friendly driver takes you pretty much anywhere you want or need to go & then come pick you up when your vehicle is done (at NO COST to you )Call them (7:30A - 5:00P) & a breathing, live service technician usually answers the phone (1st ring) after a pleasant brief message if a message at all! Also, it doesn t matter who answers the phone, he is always happy to hear from you, answers your questions/concerns with a friendly, yet extremely knowledgeable reply or find somebody that can - immediately If by chance you do have to leave a message, they usually call you back pretty quick; sometimes before you even hang up your phone! Obviously, they are my service technicians of choice for Todd & any future vehicle I buy! But wait, there s more CBA also offers a Free & Thorough overall Checkup of your pride & joy if you think something is amiss. Personally, I was referred by Discount Tire for missing & stripped lug nuts. So glad they did, that s how I found out previous mechanics & a brake chain failed me & Todd & denied responsibility .The fact they are owned & operated by *Veterans* (as am I) is a reputational bonus. CBA is NOT just a bunch of mechanics working the line for a paycheck, they actually care about your vehicle and YOU I them! Stop in, tell them, Terrie sent me! Was able to get my appointment same day on a Friday afternoon, easy process. By Monday morning, they had already reached out with an initial diagnosis and estimate. My truck was back to me and running perfectly be Wednesday, after what ended up being a fairly major engine repair. Communication, turn around time, and quality of service were all excellent. Won t hesitate to use them again!

In early September, I had an accident that ripped a hole in the fuel tank of my 2014 Highlander. This was an insurance claim. As there was no body damage, and body shops were backed up for eight weeks, I had my vehicle towed to Christian Brothers on the recommendation of a friend and the good online reviews. This began a long and unusual adventure for me and CBA.I did not get behind the wheel of my car again until the week of Thanksgiving!!! Very little of this long time was in CBA's control.Throughout all of this, Christian Brother's team worked with my insurance company (a major US auto insurer) and the very poor performance of their claims group to get the estimates reconciled. They ordered four used fuel tanks which all came in unusable. Once the insurance company allowed a new fuel tank to be used, CBA ordered it but it was backordered by Toyota. So, my vehicle stayed at CBA for nearly three months! All the while, they were communicative and professional with me. They never demonstrated any frustration with me at all and I appreciate that very much. Because this took so long, my case was transferred to multiple service representatives. At each transfer, they made certain the new person new the background and status. I never felt like I had to start over.Once I got my car back, there was an issue with a gas smell and EVAP sensor (check engine light) warning. CBA took my car back several times and checked it and each time thought they had it fixed. This was such an unusual situation that I don't fault them for this at all. At one point, they thought it was unrelated to the accident and billed me for the repair. I was willing to pay this and did. However, ultimately it was related to their repair work on the accident issue and they refunded the cost of the billed repair 100% without argument.They are not the cheapest. But I think get some extra value for the extra money in the communication, professionalism and guarantees that they offer. I will go back.
