Excellent advice, the owner took time to test-drive my truck to diagnose a vibration problem. He didn t charge me anything for that. Only an experienced Mechanic could have figured this out, I had asked other shops, and they wouldn t even know where to start.

I'll be taking my third car there for repair. First, my Mercedes for repairing my door and quarter-panel (see photo). Second, my Subaru for mechanical work and this week, my Volkswagen Passat for dent repair. Car Works of Knoxville are very reasonable priced and you don't get that "rushed feeling" that you get at the other places. I highly recommend Car Works of Knoxville to anyone looking for any repairs.

It was the first time going to car works. The owner was very rude and was not informative about my car they kept it over a month and still having the same problems it was my first time going there and will be my last I will never recommend them for nobody he did not keep me in the loop about my car and just always had an attitude the stuff he said he fixed he never fixed still having problems confronted him about it and he's going to charge again to fix what he's already fixedService: Brakes

There is not a bigger liar or thief in the business then Chris. Had my car 18 months and didn t get 20 percent of the paint job done. When I said enough is enough he would not release my car until I paid him 80 percent of agreed price of the paint job. The new paint shop has to re-do all his body work do to poor skills. Beware of this Pathological liar . Again! 18 Months and out thousands of dollars for nothing. No idea how this con sleeps at night. On a side note if you need some crack I m certain his mechanics can hook you up.Services: Body & Trim, Tire rotations

Since this is the first time that I have ever owned a motorcycle, I needed to find someone that I could trust to service and repair my 2012 Goldwing Trike. Thank God I found Chris and his crew. They are always friendly, professional and particular when servicing or repairing my trike. I would highly recommend this shop .

We have been happy customers for about 20 years! The owner Chris and his staff of mechanics take excellent care of their customers! Car Works has done some major repairs on our vehicles as well as body work. The quality of their work, reasonable prices and warranty on their work keeps us coming back. I highly recommend Car Works of Knoxville!!

Don't buy anything from this con man. Bought a bike there for 3000 dollars with the promise of title on the way. Never got title and had to sell the bike for 500 dollars without title. I would have never done this but I thought it was a legitimate business. Be warned buying anything from there is not a wise decision.

Chris and his staff are nothing less than stellar. I would have no one else take care of our cars. We have entrusted our vehicles to Car Works for over 25 years and would never consider going anywhere else for service.

Don't do what they promise. Will never return for anything. Had to pick up my motorcycle tires and rims then drive 36 miles south just to get mounted and balance. To bad I have 4 vehicles that needs service and they will never see one of mine. It takes Year's to gain a customer 10 minutes to loose them for ever (and all their friends)

After the Ford dealer in Harriman, TN failed to diagnose the problem, the techs at Car Works of Knoxville figured it right out. My Ford Fusion had been sitting in my driveway for over a year and a half & they had it going like new in just a couple days time.

Wonderful!Chris and Duncan provided just what my 1985 toyota needed!! Carburetor adjusted, timing corrected, vacuum hoses corrected, exhaust leak fixed, fan clutch checked out. Wowser!! Thanks guys!!!I'll be back if the future.

I needed to pick up a car I purchased at an auction and these guys not only rented me a trailer (agreeable I set that up online with UHaul), but also had knowledge of what I was doing and gave me some good info. Friendly staff that knows what they are doing.

I have been using them for years! Wonderful shop that has been in Karns for over 25 years. I highly recommend them for their 12 month/12,000 mile warranty on all repairs!

So out for a ride and the kickstand spring came off my HD. I didn't have a zip tie. But stopped in here for a quick fix. Guy was very helpful...

They do good work which is the highest compliment I could pay them. Their business model is a little unorthodox but they would be a good example of how a small business can do well by just doing good"Work"....

Employees will leave vise grips on vechile holdimg support for radiator n also leave hood lose and customer had to tape down and return to b fixed what should have been correctly the first time and could have been very dangerous if hood had flied open . Beware!!!

He's a rip off.took a scooter, to him repeatedly,and every time it would break down on me,within 2miles of his shop.Please "BEWARE" ,DO NOT, take anything there.
