Honest and reasonably priced! Love them. They did a great job on my brakes. I was quoted $1,800 at another location and Bao said all i really needed was my front brake pads and shaved down my front rotors for $240. It's been a month or so and everything doing great.

I had 4 break pads and 4 rotors replaced for an extremely reasonable price! It was also done same day (less than 2 hours). Bao and his team were nice and honest. Definitely will be back for other car maintenance!

Paid for an oil change and noticed my oil cap was missing. I called and asked for it but was told they only drained oil because I had too much. But I paid for an oil change. Also was told other repairs were needed and found out what I needed was $500 cheaper than what they said. I definitely don t recommend this place, not even to change a tire. He even started yelling saying he did change the oil but didn t have to put oil in my car. WTH ***Your response to this review proves how unprofessional you are and you nothing you said makes sense. I advise anyone reading this to Beware!!!!*** And my car did get repaired elsewhere and for less. They did an excellent job.

Excellent service, I needed front brakes and rotors on a rainy Saturday. I was in and out in around 30 minutes, Bao and his team are fantastic and the pricing is beyond fair. Would give six stars if I could!

Bao is an amazing guy, He is more concerned with people bei g safe than anything else. I have been going to Bao for nearly 10 years at this point and I have never had a single negative thing to say.10/10

This is the only place I m ever gonna go for anything other than tire changes and oil changes. Great service in and out in the same day. Very fair pricing.

We were passing through during the holidays (Christmas eve) when most repair shops were closed. I called Bao and he held the door open for us.His wonderful crew identified the issue within minutes (fortunately in my case it was just my spark plugs) and they had them replaced within 30-45 minutes.It was great visiting with Bao in the meantime. He was very knowledge. He seemed to have a 6th sense about vehicle issues and was able to guide his crew to the right solution.

So I met Bao the owner through his nephew's recommendation and he's a great guy. Honest and very open he did the struts on my truck and didn't overcharge me. I dropped it off late yesterday and picked it up the next day. He charges realistic prices for the labour involved him and his wife are great people and I will absolutely send people to him and also will be going back. Again you can trust him I'm not kidding he does great work!

I cant give a good recommendation for bao automotive. The work he performed on my van really angers me, but im not going to get personal and run his character into the ground in this comment. However i do want to be honest and would like to share a bad experience i had there, and caution others. I had used him before and good repairs were performed at a reasonable price. I took our van to him to have some ac work done on it. I brought my own compressor which was brand new. He installed it but it never worked. It ended up burning up, and he wouldn't warranty it because i brought my own part in which is understandable. So i took it to jim cogdill dodge to have it repaired after going to bao. The tech there said that bao automotive didnt install it right. They had left some of the flush liquid that cleans the system out in the compressor which was supposed to be removed, which is why the compressor burned up. He also said it could have caught the van on fire which is very alarming. I understand no one is perfect, and everyone makes mistakes and Bao seems like a nice guy, but if an auto repair company offers certain services i feel they should know how to perform them correctly and safely which was not done. I do not recommend this auto shop, and want to warn others of the bad experience i had at there.Service: Auto A/C replacement

Bao is a very kind and honest person, his shop is the best experience I ve ever had with a mechanic. I was ready to leave for a 5+ hr drive from Gatlinburg back to Ohio when my car started clacking and rattling loudly. We called every mechanic within the area, but Bao was the only one that was responsive and could get us in immediately. Once we got there, he took a look at my car right away. Luckily, he explained it was a harmless issue and that we could easily repair it once we are back. On top of everything, he refused our money when we tried to pay him for his time. I can t recommend him enough!

Can't thank Bao enough. Needed my vehicle to commute to school and was in a slight panic when I woke up with oil pressure lights. Called Bao and said he'll give it a check. Moments in, identified the problem and informed me conditions will be too dangerous to hit the road since my engine basically had oil leaks and repaired it on the spot, absolute livesaver.

Absolutely amazing experience every time I go to Bao's Auto! Bao is very trustworthy, efficient, and affordable! He will never try to up sell you unneeded repairs. I had an issue that I had been dealing with my AC for almost 5yrs. Not one mechanic I went to could figure it out. Several wanted to replace my whole AC assembly. Bao diagnosed the problem within 10 minutes and had my AC running like new within an hour and at very little cost! I have an older truck that, unfortunately, seems to be having one problem after the other lately. I'm not worried about being taken advantage of any longer after finding Bao's Auto!

I told Mr. Bao I was a kidney dialysis patient on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and needed my 2017 Ram 1500 to get to and back from dialysis. I scheduled an appointment for Saturday September 9th at 8:00 am. He had it fixed ny 9:00 am. Saved me a lot of money from a dealer. I will never takey truck anywhere else. Had an emergency with my front brake caliper that needed attention asap.BAO got me back on the road within 30 min and wouldn t even let me tip him. Bao is amazing. First time I went to him I was skeptical but a different mechanic basically tried to rob me and a buddy sent me to him. His work was flawless. Yah he is usually crazy busy but if you find a mechanic thats not you might not want to use them. My car is a Prius and every quote he has given me to fix has been dead on. I have had zero problems with any work he has ever done on my car. I go to my dealership for tune-ups but for anything more complex I go to Bao. Honest, competent and skilled. And the best is his prices are reasonable and fair when you compare with--well anyone. He gets the job done I recommend him without any hesitation.

Was out of state and needed a wheel bearing done. They got me in quick and got me on the road again the same day. They seemed very knowledgeable and knew what they were doing. Cheap prices too. I was referred to BAO by AAA when I had to be towed. They replaced my alternator and air conditioner fan. I live in Powell but have never used auto repair before. I am extremely pleased by the quality of work and the reasonable price! We were traveling from Florida to Michigan when our check engine light came on in Knoxville. I called Bao to see if he could squeeze us in- to our delight he was able to quickly replace the sensors, and he was reasonably priced. I've taken two vehicles to Bao. The first time was for a slight engine noise. Bao diagnosed it (for free) and said it was typical of the year and mileage of the truck. A less-honest mechanic, or dealer, could've kept it for days changing cams, cam chains, exhaust manifold, and a whole lot more parts for thousands just to chase down the noise that ultimately has no bearing on the vehicle's performance. Instead, Bao was very honest and knowledgeable about what it needed. I brought back both vehicles for spark plug changes as preventive maintenance. Each time Bao came in under his estimate for service. Both jobs were done in 30-45 minutes while I waited. Not only was the price under his estimate, but very affordable compared to a chain mechanic and especially a dealer. He even let me know that one of the services I suggested, and was ready to pay for, really wasn't needed. A less honest mechanic would just take the $$ and do the work whether or not the vehicle needed it. In short, I highly recommend Bao.However, there are a few things you should know. It's not necessarily a highly-polished chain-style auto shop with a pristine waiting area, easy entry parking lot, text alerts, online service scheduling, and multiple front office employees on staff. It may be hard to get someone on the phone because Bao is out working or diagnosing. It may be hard to park your vehicle because it's a bit of a small shop perched on a hill. The shop dogs that wander the lot will come say hello. Going by the shop in person may be your best bet if you cannot reach via phone. These are not necessarily downsides, but something to be ready for if you were expecting a different experience. Despite these things (which I don't even see as downsides), I will 100% continue to go to Bao over a dealership because of his honesty and fair pricing.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Excellent service and knowledgeable mechanics - thank you Bao and team for getting me back on the road. Bao is extremely knowledgeable about car systems and it shows - my a/c stopped working and he did an extremely thorough job looking for where the disconnect was. He called us and updated us on the pricing options and he was able to order the part at a lower cost from out of state.Services: Air conditioning, Auto maintenance

They tried to take my transmission away and charge me around 800!! I was able to fix it just by buying a speed transmission sensor from ebay by 10$ and fix it! He took my car and left it for a few days without even looking at him and then lazily telling me that he diagnosed that it needs transmission change. During that time, I studied and found out the problem is only the speed sensor and nothing else.If you exactly know what service you need or which parts you need to change, then you can go to him for cheaper price but he is not someone who has the ability to diagnose anything and will scam you and you won t even know!They didn t tighten the tire after a service for my friend and my friend was almost in an accident, fortunately he stopped the car before the tire was about to come out completely.

I had an awesome experience here. I have a 2008 Honda Accord v6. It s about 188,000 miles. 2 weeks ago, I heard a really loud sound from the engine, and I saw the oil leaking. I went to the autoshop, he told me the reason right after he heard the sound without looking at it. Awesome!!He was right. The AC compressor was very bad( source of that loud sound) and the oil leaking from broken front valve cover. I got them done in ONE DAY and the price is very affordable. I like this autoshop because they go straight to your problem, fix the car ASAP, and offer the best price that you can t find anywhere in Knoxville. This is my opinion. Definitely comeback!
