I went to this mechanic shop and they were so great. Honest gentlemen and comfortable atmosphere. They treat you with respect no matter your gender. Because I've been to shops where they thought they could take advantage of me for being a female. I highly recommend this shop. My car was already running ok (for an older model). Now it runs like when I first got it!I highly recommend this place.

Kenny and his team are fantastic and incredibly kind. This is our preferred spot for car repairs. Kenny thoroughly explained all the car issues and provided a clear breakdown of the costs for parts and labor, which were also very reasonable.

Great shop and honest people. My daughter is at UTK and had an issue with her car. I'm 400 miles away and couldn't help other then look for a reputable shop online. Asian Auto Specialists had lots of excellent reviews so I sent her there. Her 2004 Lexus was running rough and we were unsure of the issue. Fearing the worst, it turns out a wire to the MAF was unplugged. They plugged it back in and were were good to go. They also fixed a speed sensor and now the lights on the dash are finally off. Was expecting a large bill when she dropped off the car and it only cost one hour of labor, that's it. Happy to have found this place and will be back if we need work in the future.

Highly recommend, once they started working they found that the actual repair needed something cheaper than the original estimate. Super honest shop for being up front about that and saving me money. Any other place could have charged me for unnecessary parts and I would have never known. Really appreciate the honesty and fair prices and I will be back for future repairs and recommend.

Fantastic service and experience. This was my first visit. Found them by searching Subaru specialist and took a chance based on reviews. I had a unique center differential issue, not common, and the last place I took it, couldn't figure it out after 3 trys and wrong parts replaced. These guys listened, troubleshot, and solved it, even faster than promised! They also found some other things I was neglecting, which I knew about, but they were so fair, I had to agree to let them fix those things, too! I'll be back!

Very affordable and HONEST! Took my jeep in because my brakes were making a noise like the pads needed to be changed. Turns out the pads have plenty of life and didn't need to be changed. Kenny was very honest. Most places would have went ahead and changed the brakes whether they needed to be changed or not. 100% recommend!!

Result from Google search for repair near me. Best idea of all time. They are exactly what they say; specialists. After dealing with grayson subaru on too many occasions, I found Mr Kenny and his crew. I have been relying on him to keep my '10 Subaru WRX going with gumption. Through ac work and clutch repair, it's always timely and reasonably priced. On top of that, they are amazingly polite and truly appreciate your business. They actually replaced my engine is less time than it took Grayson to replace control arm ,some lug nuts and studs. In closing, I would unequivocally recommend Mr Kenny and his crew. My neighbor told me about Asia Car Repair. I m so glad she did .They have done a lots of repairs for me and they do it right the first time !They find the problem then give you an a estimated cost of the parts and laborI highly recommend them to all my family and friends .

i ve took my 99 4runner in there numerous times now because she likes to break, every time i ve brought it in, it s been nothing but impeccable service and amazing work that gets done in a short amount of time. don t go to a dealership when we have one of the best local shops in town!

After being told at the dealer that I needed a new engine for my 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage which they said would cost me $8,450, I brought it into Is Asian Auto Specialists. They checked out my car and found out that a hose in the engine was detached. After attaching it again a car worked just fine. It didn't need a new engine. I was impressed with their honesty as well as their customer service. I will always bring my car to Asian Auto Specialists.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I can't attest to work quality but I can attest to the type of people they are. My Hyundai broke down and I managed to drive it there. It was 15 minutes before closing. I left it there and they called me back by 11am the next day. They told me it was the engine and that it likely was covered under warranty if I had it towed to the Hyundai dealer. Not only did they not charge me for a diagnosis, they took the time to tell me what to say to the dealer. GREAT people.

We were visiting family in Knoxville when the alternator on our 2008 Toyota Highlander unexpectedly began to fail - not a great way to spend a Christmas Eve! We discovered Asian Auto Specialists online and the reviews were outstanding. Indeed, Kenny and his crew were able to quickly accommodate the repair of our Highlander on the day after Christmas and did a great job of the repair at a fair price. If we lived in Knoxville, Asian Auto Specialists would be our auto mechanic of choice - highly recommended!Service: Engine repair

Love this shop! We will always bring our vehicles here! Kenny does great work and talks to us like human beings - no talking down or acting like we know nothing. He explains everything well and always gives us a heads up BEFORE he starts work. I highly recommend this shop!

Kenny was great! Fully informed me on prices beforehand, and even diagnosed my car with completely separate issue I had no idea about. I had brake pads replaced, for a very reasonable labor and parts price. Also, had a ball joint replaced, also very reasonably priced. I will definitely be coming here again in the future and recommend that you do not take your car anywhere else.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

Highly recommend dropped off my 04 Lexus LS430 to get its timing belt, water pump gasket etc. cant beat it s prices any where else I ll be back very soon for more maintenance.

I has a friend recommend this business to me. I m glad he did. Everyone I met was so kind and helpful. Not only was the pricing better then a bigger shop I was going to use, but the owner, Kenny, would actually call me before ordering parts and fixing anything else that came up before doing the work! This sounds easy, but from my experience, most shops don t do this. I instantly had a sense of trust after walking into this shop. I ll be coming here from now on. I have a Toyota 4Runner and this shop did a killer job. A+++ pricing, customer service and work.

Edit: Another great experience at Asian Auto. Kenny is truly the only person I trust with my car. Their new location in Halls is great.I highly recommend Kenny at Asian Auto Specialist!! I cannot say enough good things about this little gem shop! From the time I got there the Staff was friendly, The place seems to be organized compared to other small shops, the estimated cost for the repair was exactly what I was told, the diagnostic was correct from the beginning and it fixed my problem. It s worth mentioning that they were pretty prompt and got me in just a couple days away from my first visit and my car was fixed the same day. I m really happy with the way my Forrester came out. The prices seem too good to be true but they are the actual prices and a little shocked. His price for a timing belt job was almost half the price of the dealership. I won t say the price out of respect to the shop, since every car is different but considering the job included the belt, water pump, pulleys, tensioner and serpentine belt and the kit came from a very reputable made in Japan aftermarket parts company I was very happy. I had the same job done 15 years ago in a different car and it s the same price.Kenny was very knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable having him do the job. He was also very flexible, I was told the soonest he could schedule the job was next week but if I wanted to drop it off today, he could squeeze it in.Between the good reputation, very low overhead, great customer service and affordable prices for families. I highly recommend!

My daughter and son in law recently had work done on their Sequoia at Asian Auto Specialists. I met up there with my son in law to pick up the vehicle when the work was finished, and was very impressed by the excellent service, and in learning about the work that had been done, the very fair pricing. This will definitely be the garage I bring my Subaru to as needed.

I have been looking for an honest mechanic for years. One that will be very thorough and price things fairly. I gave Asian Auto Specialists a try and they went way above my expectations. They are extremely knowledgeable and the prices are extremely fair. I will use them going forward. There is a reason everyone gives them 5 stars. Helped my mom find an auto shop for her Toyota. It's hard to find a place with an honest mechanic but we did find one. If your looking for what I think is the best one in Knoxville. Kenny the owner is up front with the price gets the work done quickly. Quality work at a great price. I will be relying on Asian Auto Specialist for all our future auto repairs I need done.

This is absolutely my new garage. Kenny and Trevor are not just quick and fair on price - they're extremely knowledgeable, too. They solved an issue with my electrical system that three different mechanics have missed over the past year, and it took them barely a day. Walked me through the potential fixes and gave me advice that probably cost them money in labor. It's not just Asian cars they handle either - mine's a Ford. Good, trustworthy guys who know what they're doing.

Have been battling some electrical issues on my 2007 Sorento for almost 3 years. Two other shops were unable to find the issue. Let Kenny look at my vehicle and within a few minutes was pretty sure he found the issue. Left the vehicle and within a few hours he called me and told me it was fixed.Kenny was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and dealt with me in a very professional and respectful manner.Would highly recommend for your auto service and repairs. I was in a real bind with my car. They got me in same day, diagnosed the problem, gave me multiple options for repair and maintenance on the vehicle. Once work was started, each time an issue was encountered I was notified promptly before anything else was done. They are super knowledgeable, trustworthy, and affordable. They really take the time to educate you on the work they are performing and why it s necessary. I appreciated how quickly they got my car back on the road.

Great experience with first visit for our Toyota van in the fall of 2020. Fair and reasonable price for service needed. Owner was very nice on the phone, we got a prompt appointment, and van was ready when promised. We definitely recommend using Asian Auto Specialists.
