Didn t catch the guys name but I was helped by a very kind kid with glasses. He was very personable/knowledgeable and took the time to explain things to me and give his personal opinion. Good job man!

Incredible customer service and professionalism. Particularly from a young gentleman named Marcus. Very stand up individual who helped make sure I purchased what I needed and installed it properly. He is outstanding!

Car always seems to puke itself in the late evening and I always seem to be running in at 8:50 to get something that can't wait till morning. Tonight 13 Sept 2023, it was a battery. You all are always there for me, and the staff are always extremely helpful. Thanks again. See ya next time.

I purchased 18 quarts of transmission fluid and the staff packed them in 2 used boxes. When I got home I counted and there were only 16 quarts. I returned and the shift had changed so I explained to the night staff what had happened and I even brought the oil back to show them the boxes were full with 16 quarts instead of the 18 I payed for. They made me wait until they did a shelf count and explained if they had shorted me two quarts as I claimed, the shelf count would result in 10 quarts instead of the eight quarts shown on the inventory. The shelf count result was 6 quarts which means they don't have a correct inventory and they made me stand there like a suspect for 5 minutes for nothing. They gave me two quarts like it killed them and with no apology for the discrepancy or the inquisition.The next day I brought the used transmission fluid back for recycle along with some used motor oil. The day staff told me they don't accept transmission fluid but will accept the oil. I took the motor oil back to the recycle tank and clearly printed on the side of the tank is:ACCEPTED FLUIDS: MOTOR OIL, TRANSMISSION FLUID, HYDRAULIC OIL.I told them the sign clearly states transmission oil is excepted but they refused to let me discard it.I have been buying parts here for years, since this store opened, but it seems the staff has lost customer service skills. I judge a business on the quality of their products, the knowledge of their staff and the willingness to provide a quality customer interaction. This store missed the mark.

As a young female, I've never walked away from a repair feeling like I was treated fairly until today! Ivar and his team took really good care of my battery change when I was at my wits end with other places. I had so much corrosion due to a crack in my battery. Ivar stood in the scorching sun, replaced the battery and took his time to clean the parts that were corroded when I know most places would have just told me I needed to replace the parts. I can go on and on about how well the customer service was but it still wouldn't do it justice - the best I've ever experienced hands down!

Worst store to deal with in every way. EXTREMELY RUDE AND LAZY employees especially Nick. I had bought a part and tried to return the core for whatever reason they were having a difficulty finding the core fee since I purchased it online well the employee Nick just basically told me to kiss off I've been back to the store three times trying to get this situated and every time he was of no help whatsoever just rude just walked around doing nothing hoping I would get tired and leave. In finally he called customer service and wrote down a number on a scrap piece of paper and told me there problem solved which was not going to work for me he refused to let me speak to the lady at customer service instead there for 10 minutes arguing back and forth repeating himself with the customer service phone number finally after he realized I was not leaving until I spoke to the lady on customer service he decided to call them and let me talk to them I took care of the problem myself I will never return to the store or any other advance Auto parts stores AutoZone will get my business from now on.Last but not least when I handed him the phone back he grabbed it out of my hand almost ripping my arm out of socket as I was thanking him for finally doing his job I will be looking to speak to his general manager because I should not have been treated that way at all and I have been back to the store three times when a simple phone call could have been made by the jerk employee - Nick on South northshore drive store in Knoxville

I tried to use my military discount on an expensive part but was told it would be a half hour wait for the manager to come back and approve it. things like this is what made me stop shopping there years ago even though it's a block away from my house.

Went in to have a battery replaced, but when they went to replace it they realized it was so corroded that they would need to also replace the clamp for the negative terminal. It turned into a pretty significant repair, and they could not have been more understanding and patient. The clamp they needed wasn't in stock, so they used another and the car has been running fine. These are stand up people, who figure out how to get the job done and take care of the customer. Will absolutely use this location again! Thanks so much y'all!!

Went in for a battery on December 28th. Store was busy Only one person working the entire store, at 4:00pm, on a weekday. This young lady saved the day: although she could not test or install the battery, she offered tools, advice and moral support, and kept taking car we of customers, answering the phone and ringing sales I had no trouble installing the new battery, and did not mind doing it myself, although I was not really prepared to do so. This visit could had been a disaster, as the car would not start on the old battery. The help this associate provided should give this review 5 stars, but the fact that I had to do all of my own work knocks it down one. Associates should not be put in this position. If someone without mechanical skills showed uo they would be SOL.

Oh my goodness ! I cannot say enough good things about the service I hot there. I needed a new battery. First they ran diagnostic to make sure that was the issue. Then installed the battery for me. Had me stay inside where it was warm. As a visitor to the area , they took the stress out of my situation.

I was sold the wrong size socket, within 5 minutes i came back to return or exchange it. The employee i was speaking to was extremely helpful and understanding but the "manager" walked by and just said "no way" and then walked away without any explanation. the employee then refused to help me or process my return. Not a good branch to visit!

My battery had died at the local Kroger a half mile from the store, the gentleman at the store was kind enough to drive over, jump my car, meet me back at the store to install a new battery!! That was above and beyond!! Very much appreciated.

Great service and very knowledgeable staff. I dropped this review by one star because this location doesn t stock everything the other locations have in stock and I end up going somewhere else. I haven t had many issues with the product purchased. If I did the staff took care of the issue immediately.

If you go in this store it will take you forever to get what you need no one in there is trained and no one in their cares. They're rude to everyone. Even the manager doesn't seem to care they act like you're too much trouble

Very helpful. The visit was a little long of course but i got everything i needed in one visit. The people that work here are very kind and help. Theres not a question they couldnt answer for me yet. I will continue to get my car parts here!!

They don t do returns, even if you return within 5 minutes after purchasing it. So, please make sure you are getting the right thing if you are purchasing. And do not order online, where they get your money first, and you see your product second.

Always friendly and helpful staff but prices are getting excessively high. Walmart has most of the same basic everyday items for about half the price.

Extremely fun, helpful staff and if you have no clue what you are doing (like me), they are more than happy to help you out. If you're really confused, they will even walk out and oversee simple processes; in my case, a headlight swap.

Associate that was helping me knew everything I needed to know about my Ford Ranger, very helpful. Saved me a lot of trouble and time. I think his name was Jerry. This is where I will go from now on.

They were able to check my engine light issue where 3 other auto places couldn't get their OBDII readers to even communicate with my car (1997 Toyota Avalon XL).

I m always blown away at the level of service at this location. Jermey helped me today, as was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to help figure out what the issue with my MDX was.
