I purchased a used car that had been parked in a field over a year. I wanted it checked out & the oil changed. My regular mechanic doesn't work on Nissans & referred me to Nard's. The shop was working about 10 days out. I needed to shuffle vehicles, I had someone to help & they were very accommodating allowing me to drop my car a few days early. They checked the brakes, the clutch & changed the oil. They advised me the noise I was hearing was from the tires - cupped as a result of a neglected alignment issue - & in need of replacement. I wasn't able to pick up the car while they were open so they allowed me to pay & pick up my keys during the day & return that evening for the car. I have since replaced the tires & had a 4 wheel alignment & the car has been great. I will definitely continue to use their shop & feel comfortable recommending them.

My old farm truck unexpectedly died in the Lowe's parking lot. (Naturally I had just loaded it up with my just purchased lumber). Before having it towed to Nard's I called to tell them to expect it since I couldn't get it there before they closed. A very courteous employee told me that they might not be able to get to for a week or so. They called back the next day to tell me that they had diagnosed the problem and that it might be repaired by days end. It was, indeed, ready, though I was not able to pick it up until the following morning. They told me the mechanic who repaired it finished another repair earlier than expected and worked my truck in. Thanks to Nard's for not promising more than they could accomplish and finishing faster than expected.

When i lost the brakes on my Jeep, they were on the ball & had my vehicle back to me within 24 hours! Good as New! Price was exceptional, well within reason! Is it any wonder that I shun dealership service centers and use Nard's?

I don t know why people have issues, with not being able to bring in their own parts. They can t guarantee work, with a part that comes from lord-knows-where, and have no idea of its history or if it s in working condition. I have had ZERO issues with this business and have been using them for awhile. It makes me really sad that people would talk bad about a small family-owned company simply for not allowing outside parts.. I don t bring a box of hair dye to my hairdresser and ask for a better price then get mad when she won t use it . Shops use certain products for a reason. When you find mechanics you trust, You can rest easy that they are just trying to help you out. I know they are not taking advantage of me, they are upfront and honest with me every time. You are going to spend more at a mechanic because they are professionals fixing things they have a ton of training on. I know the money was well spent and my vehicles are taken care of. I don t LIKE spending a bunch of money...but that s just how adulting works. Great service, great people, great business!

Never met a more honest mechanic in my life. The first time I met Nard he was in the middle of charging an older lady 1.5 hours for 4.5 hours worked. Great mechanic, honest pricing, and wont mislead you to make money off you. Previous reviews about carry in parts dont take into account how warranty work is done, I dont blame them a bit for not installing carry ins. I have had Nard do all the work on every car my family owns for the past 6 years without any hiccups, including getting them back before the quoted time frame.Bottom line, they will absolutely take care of you in the fastest, most cost efficient, most reliable way possible. I cant recommend them enough.

The female that answered the phone when I called to ask how much it would cost to install a part that we have already purchased was completely rude and condescending. She told me that they do not install parts that the customers purchase themselves, because then they wouldn't be able to guarantee the part. I explained that I didn't expect them to guarantee the part because I already have one from the place it was purchased. I then said, "I don't understand why you would refuse to install a part for a customer. Regardless of where it came from and that why would I pay more for something when I could purchase it myself for less money." She then replied, "Well, when you go to a steak house, do you bring your own steak and tell them to cook it?"I immediately replied, "ok, thanks a lot." and hung up the phone.Do these people not realize that when you are that rude (unnecessarily for that matter) that business decreases and those who used to frequent your establishment will stop patronizing your business when you behave in such a manner? Her smart, snippy remark was completely unprofessional, hateful, and frankly I wouldn't trust anyone there to touch any of my automobiles.

Nard is my go to mechanic. Very knowledgeable about all vehicles. He's done work on my truck, my son's truck and most recently my brothers car. He does excellent work and in a very reasonable time frame. He stands behind his work as well. Sarah who works the desk is also very friendly and knowledgeable. Nard is more than a mechanic, he is also a friend. You can trust Nard to be up front and honest with you.

Towed car in. Spent $174 on something I told them it did not need but they did it anyway. After that they agreed it was probably what I thought it was. But would not fix it. Told me to come have it towed somewhere else.

So I take my truck to NARDS AUTOMOTIVE have my break line replaced he does it cheap and in reasonable time. But then I ask him to change my fuel filter he says that the filter I have is wrong one and the right one is $120 but he will let me have it for 84.99 I told him i would wait to put the old one back on and i would pay him for what he has done. I called O'Reilly the filter was only $20.90. So when they put my filter cover back on it mysteriously starts to leak and is broke so now I have to buy a new housing he said they are $150 with filter but I can have it for 120. I said well let me call O'Reilly back see how much they are he said i dont let people bring parts in from out sx ide so i had to buy his stuff because its pouring the housing was only $67 at O'Reilly hes charging me double. So with my rant over this is the LAST time I will do business here.
