I m only giving this 1 star so I can leave this review! I would recommend taking your business elsewhere and to not use Firestone for any of your vehicle servicing needs! I had no problem out of my vehicle until I took it here to have new tires put on! I purchased the new tires I wanted for my vehicle online, made an appointment with Firestone to have them put on my vehicle. First of all, I had to sit there and wait 3 hours with my 3 kids just for them to put 4 new tires on, then 20 more minutes for them to try to do an alignment which they in turn said that they weren t able to do. I paid $126 and left after waiting 3 hours and 20 minutes. As I m arriving home my tire is flat, yet that shouldn t have been the case due to just having new tires put on with no other problems . That wasn t the case because I called them to set an appointment to come back to figure out the problem with tire losing air. Come to find out I drove 2 hours for nothing because when I walked through the door to let them know I m there for my appointment they tell me the rim has a crack and that they put it on my ticket, which they did not, and that there s nothing that they can do for me! The tires I previously had on my vehicle did not leak any air until I used Firestone services! I tried to file a claim later that evening, but the store claims specialist, Seth Byrd, completely closed and denied my claim, stating that there s no way they could have cracked my rim! Fact of the matter is, take your service elsewhere and do not use Firestone! They will have you waiting hours for your vehicle to be done, along with mess your vehicle up and not take blame for doing so!

I said 8 with overall experience because I had to call them after they had my car for 3 hours and ask what was going on with my car and I feel they should have called when they figured out the problem instead of having me sitting home and waiting when over the phone I was told it would take an hour and a half and he could tell me what they found.I said 10 because they were very friendly and respectful. And they were detailed in their explanation of what was wrong with my car and very helpful in the decision of what my next step should be. So I still would definitely recommend them to people.

My daughter recently had a blowout while out of town. She found this Firestone and they had her tire replaced and back on the road very quickly. Can't thanks them enough for responding quickly and at a very reasonable price for the replacement tire.

We have brought all our cars here for years. Recently I took mine in to have the tires rotated and they found the rear brakes needed to be replaced. Given the rotors had almost 100,000 miles on them I figured it was time. They were able to do the brakes and I was on the road in about an hour.The folks working here are always friendly. The Manager Michael has been there for years and is great to work with..

Would have gave 10, but typically give about week to see if repairs/maintenance done properly. This location always takes care of me if something is amiss. Though many say it is pricier than other places, their warranty/guaranteed work has definitely saved me in the past. Will continue bringing my cars to this location.

Our go to for most repair issues, short of major engine or drivetrain problems.Always treat us like people, not marks to squeeze as much $$$ as they can.When they are unable to fix a problem Micheal (the manager) always points us to someone who can, do so with our breaking the bank.Always able to make an appointment, and not take forever to fix the problem.They treat my wife and son like people, and are honest and fair with their pricing. Does not mean they won't try and sell other stuff, but I am comfortable in knowing it is, or soon will be something I will have to take care of.

Great place for all your auto needs. I brought in my foreign vehicle that a lot of people have never heard of before. One of the mechanics told me that he d never worked on one of my cars before but he would give it a heck of a go. After I d taken it to the other Firestone Dealership in Johnson City and being turned down, this was a welcomed response. I also didnt want to travel all the way to Knoxville to the dealership that sells and works on my particular vehicle every time I need an oil change. My oil was changed and I was driving away within a little over an hour. I will be using this Firestone Center from here on out. Thanks so much

I have been a customer of Mike Stanley for years. He has always been fair and honest with me and my family. The only time he did not service my vehicles was when I purhased a new auto and had two years free service. He now is my go to person when I have an issue since I am now a widow. You need more employees like Mike Stanley.

They were very quick unlike hours I've waited (even with appt.) at other places (even another Firestone). I was not pressured for anything not needed, and was even told two tires I had replaced would last me another few years instead of were useless as some would claim. My road-hazard warranty information was properly looked up, disclosed, and honored on the tires I decided to replace. Also, the alignment actually worked well (I have left other places and that was not the case). Atmosphere was friendly, and the final guy who rang me up had no trouble or belittling explaining my paperwork & charges - which were less than I was told they might have been, and less than I expected. Lastly, even the tires I kept were kindly wrapped in plastic for me rather than left able to dirty up the trunk area.

All staff @ Firestone Auto are very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. (401 W Center St, Kingsport,TN). Tracy was so kind accommodating today by working me into their schedule 1st thing this morning to service my flat tire. Although they were short-staffed, they serviced my car and replaced my tire in just over an hour of opening their doors. My husband and I have been loyal customers w/ them since moving to this area 2 years ago, and they consistently provided outstanding customer service each and every time for all our auto needs. I urge everyone to steer clear of FireStone Auto and save themselves from the headache and financial strain I endured. They not only failed to fix my car but also managed to ruin my holiday in the process.I brought in my 2012 Dodge Charger to FireStone Auto, and my experience was nothing short of a nightmare. The initial red flag was the main person consistently referring to my Dodge Charger as a Chrysler, which should have been an indication of their lack of attention to detail but I ignored this, stupidly, because he seemed knowledgeable. I am a female who works on cars, usually I'm very weary on taking my car places due to this as most men assume I know nothing and cause more damage purposely thinking I won't notice.Despite my fear, I trusted their expertise they provided me and requested a diagnostic for my car, which was overheating while idling. I provided a detailed list of what had been changed or checked previously, hoping for a comprehensive solution. However, the communication throughout the process was lacking, and I received a call at the end of the day where my car was still being misidentified as a Chrysler.In this phone call, I was told that they "had no idea" what could be causing this issue and to make matters worse, the suggested solution was to bleed out my antifreeze as a last-ditch effort. (Something I had already had done previously).When I picked up my car, I was falsely reassured that it had idled for an extended period without overheating. However, within a day, the issues not only persisted but worsened.This is when matters take a turn and make me incredibly upset with this company. I discovered a VERY noticeable hole in my radiator hose as my car had begin to smoke an insane amount which it had not done at all previously. I noticed this hole the second I looked in my engine bay, this is not something I would have overlooked and on the off chance I did, the fact they did not see this hole after charging me hundreds of dollars for a diagnostic fee is infuriating. To make matters worse, the brand new thermostat I had just put in that was working perfectly was completely shattered and leaking all of my antifreeze out within 30 minutes.The aftermath of their "service" cost me over 400 dollars just for them to supposedly "bleed out my antifreeze", and I had to spend additional funds to fix the problems they caused making me spend well over a thousand dollars in total. If I could give zero stars, I would. This place is far from legitimate, causing more harm than good. I 100% expect a response from this.

Went in for oil change and was there for over 2 hours. I was also first in line for service. While I was waiting the workers were walking around showing each other videos on their phones and having their breakfast. They upcharged and upsold me rotors, which I m not sure I needed. So 2 hours and $600 later I finally get to leave and notice my car is shaking at idle. When I get home later I check the oil and it is so overfilled I m shocked. The oil is about 5 inches above the high level mark on the dipstick. I do not recommend this store and I will never use them again. I try to tell everyone I know who needs service work to avoid this store.

I love these guys. They have been the most helpful through one of the hardest times in my life I've ever had. Thank you so much Traci, and the rest of the staff at Firestone for your awesome work, thorough inspection, and keeping in touch with me to let me know what's going on! I got my car back last night these guys were even willing to come and get me and bring me down there and stay over so I can get my vehicle and be able to go back to work. Thanks again so much you have no idea how much it means there's people like you guys still out there.

They completed a tune up without trying to upsell another service. In fact sometimes whenbI ask for a certain service they say either not yet or not needed. They are super friendly and keep to their appointments.

Wonderful experience getting new tires put on. We had an alignment done and added new wiper blades too. Cant beat a 70,000 mile warranty. Customer service was nice and they were courteous. Two waiting room areas w phone chargers for customers and restrooms too.

If I could give them zero stars I would.I waited 6 hours for new brakes and when I left the pedal felt funny. They were closed by then so I couldn't bring it back that night. Had to pay over $100 to have them fixed somewhere else because they had done it all wrong. Made them cover the difference because it should have been done correctly the first time, especially after 6 hours. Barely got an apology. Never again!Service: Brakes

3 strikes your out!I am a patient and understanding person ,but today was it. My patient are gone and I don't understand. Had an appointment at 9:00am today I arrived at 8:50 and checked in there were 3 people already waiting. I had a seat and waited and waited and waited while employees were having breakfast . I waited an hour and finally asked how long for my oil change and tire rotation 9?Was told that car in front of mine was getting new tires and they would get to me ASAP which was another 45 minutes this the 3rd time I have wait for almost 2 hours for an change and tire rotation and it's my last.Pack a lunch when you go here you will be here a whileService: Oil change

The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. Kenny and the guy with the really long beard took great care of me and my vehicle. They had me back on the road in no time. Much appreciated for such great customer service. No nonsense to be found here. Would definitely recommend

Work was done fast, my only issue is how high there prices are. I spent $1200 for 4 tires & alignment. If I would have known up front I would have just went to Walmart. Same tires, different brand...$400 cheaper. But they do a good job, just wish they wasn't so costly

I trusted this Kingsport Firestone auto center with replacing the brake pads and rotors on my relatively new vehicle. Upon arrival, the staff was friendly and provided me with an estimate for the repairs. After agreeing to these services, I left the repair shop to await a courtesy call for my return. After returning to the shop, I paid my bill and thanked the staff. Immediately upon approaching my vehicle, I noticed several scratches upon the rear door of my vehicle on the driver's side. I then called this to the attention of one of the staff members. He then had me wait for his manager to come and speak with me. When the manager arrived to my car, I pointed out the damage. He then stood looking at the scratches for several minutes while speaking quietly to the other associate present. Finally, he stated a few excuses as to why he doubted whether the damage had been caused by Firestone. I then assured him of my complete certainty as to the origin of this damage, and he continued to deny fault of any sort. He then stated that all he could do is turn this in as a claim to Firestone's home office, but stated that he was becoming unwilling due to my conduct. My conduct was direct to the point, but professional. After paying over $900 for these services, it is a basic expectation that my car be returned to me absent of any new cosmetic damage. I would have been satisfied for the gentleman to simply apologize for the mistake, and take basic ownership of the problem, but was shocked to see that a general manager would act in such an unprofessional manner. Finally, the manager stated he would go inside and complete an internal claim for the damage and return outside once complete. I then waited outside for over an hour for his return and witnessed he, along with the rest of his staff, close the store and leave for the day. My truck needed brakes bad i usely do it my self but i broke my hip so i called mike at firestone west center steet and he fixed front and rear for a great price fast and efficent .so a big thanks to mike he also sold me my tires last year great job. I recomend mike and firestone

These guys rock, they are super fast to get you in, reasonably priced, had no issue working with my warranty to replace a window motor, got my AC working like brand new after another shop couldn t fix it. Everyone is so dang nice and they re excellent at communication, which I see as a sign of honesty and trustworthiness. I could not be happier with Firestone, especially Josh and Anthony answering my never ending questions and working around my wonky work schedule. Thank you guys!!

Came in last minute because my air conditioner stopped working and I'm going on a road trip the next day. They were able to determine what the issue was and fixed it for me. They were incredibly nice and I had a good experience for the 8.5 hours I was there :)Will be returning for all future needs.
