I have a family member who's down on their luck today and had a flat on a Sunday, which is not good when tire shops are closed. I called Firestone with the gentleman answering the phone telling me he only had one tire of the size I needed. He then tells me is way over two hundred dollars and that the tire is rare. It is not a rare tire due to all the small compact cars out here today like the Chevy spark. I told him for a price like that for one tire he could keep that one tire that's "rare". Other places offer them for normal prices like fifty nine dollars. These places need to treat customers better and not jack prices sky high because they know you have a need that day with other shops being closed.

I was in on Sunday, 10/29/2023 to get my wife's oil changed. There was also a coolant leak, which I brought to their attention. Within minutes, the mechanic had me come to the work bay to show me the cause of the leak. The 23 year-old radiator had split and was unrepairable. They ordered a radiator (On a Sunday!) and had it installed within a couple of hours! I would highly recommend this location of Firestone, not just for the quickness of service, but the professionalism of ALL INVOLVED! Thank you!!

These people will flat out lie to your face. Scare you into thinking more is wrong with your car than there actually is. Just to treat you like a walking money bag. There is no respect in this building, and people like the man I interacted with is why mechanics get bad names. Deceiving people to essentially defraud them of their hard earned money. If i could give it a 1/10 I would. 1 star does not do their bad service enough justice. I brought my car in. Needed an oil change and an engine diagnostic to figure out why my car was dying. I was told face to face by Justin that he himself had seen the issue and there was only one way to fix it. Replacing an entire valve system, spark plugs, and about 8 other things. Quoting me for 1500$ after labor. I brought it to a different mechanic and asked him to check the valve hose Justin claimed witness himself being broken. In fact the valve hose was not damaged. Nothing that I was quoted for was even in need of repair. I ended up needed roughly 200$ worth of parts. I am beyond upset with my experience at Firestone. I HIGHLY advocate to go ANYWHERE else. I also paid for an oil change, and for a leak in one of my tires to be repaired. I came back two days later and my tire was at 18PSI, when it was at 34 when I left it there. I m not sure they did the very minimum I asked of them.

Nail in tire. New tire had to be ordered. Gladly changed my tire and put the spare on until new tire arrived on Monday. I learned tire had been delivered on Monday as promised. Put new tire on when I arrived.

Terrible service, I dropped my truck off Saturday morning at 7am sharp, I requested a tire rotation and balance, new wider blades, a left headlight bulb and a check engine light diagnostic, the manager on Saturday was very rude and stated they were booked solid for the weekend but if I left my truck it would be completed the next day, I finally called them at 1pm and the desk clerk stated my truck was complete, no tire rotation was done, and I was told that they could not diagnose the check engine light and that I would have to take my truck to the dealership. I confirmed with the manager that it took them almost an entire weekend to change a headlight bulb and wiper blades. The clerk stated that there was no notation of my request to rotate and balance my tires and stated the tread depth and condition were fine. Do not waste your time with these people they obviously do not want or need any business.

Polite, friendly, efficient, and fixed my car right the first time. The cost was almost exactly the same as the estimate. Scheduling was very easy by phone, and they accommodated my schedule. Will use them for future repairs

My daughter stopped by right after she got off work with a tire that only had 11lbs of air. They were no help and said they would be closing soon. Hope they are happy to have sent a young lady on her way with a flat tire because they didn t want to spend 10 minutes patching a tire. Walmart fixed it cause they don t suck like Firestone.Service: TiresService: Tires

I drove from Charleston South Carolina to visit family and realized when I got here that my change oil light had come on my Buick enclave. I didn't want to take my vehicle to just anyone and I had always heard good things about Firestone. I called at the last minute and was able to receive an appointment even though they had to work me in to their schedule. All of the staff was extremely friendly and kind and I felt very taken care of.

I ordered a set of tires and sked them to take look at the brakes, I had no problem with my brakes thought here was while the rims are off take a look. Not having any break trouble what so ever I thought I do have 86,000 miles I may need new pads again have no issues with them at all . They tell me I have stress cracks in the rotors so I should up early to look no stress cracks anywhere, they beat the rotors off with a hammer so they couldn't be out back on . I'm stuck paying for parts I didn't need very aggravated furious really my bill went from 1900 to over 3400 .Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Brake service & repair

Incredible service! I had car trouble while traveling out of state on a Sunday. This was the only mechanic open and they didn t let me down. The man at the front was extremely helpful and went out of his way to get me back on the road the same day. A huge thank you to the mechanics I didn t speak to. Everyone was knowledgeable and helpful.Services: Tires, Wheel alignment

I want to give this place a good review, I really do, but I'm incredibly frustrated with them. I had tires put on a couple months ago and ever since then my truck becomes a paint shaker at 55mph. I've brought it back three times to get it fixed and each time I'm told it's a balance issue but it's never better. This truck shakes so badly at 55mph I'm not even sure it's safe to drive, and they aren't helping at all. Disappointed to say the least.

Matt at the 2708 E Stone Drive Firestone is a miracle worker! Hyundai has looked at my car multiple times over the last two years and misdiagnosed the problem repeatedly. A few hours with Matt and my car is good as new! Travis was incredibly kind and did everything he could to take care of my car as well. From now on, they have my business for life.

I was pleasantly surprised with my experience at Firestone. Especially an extra thank you to Jarrod for taking such great care of me. The service was incredibly timely, as I was not expecting to have my car back as quickly as I did. The price was also very affordable. I will definitely be returning when I need their services again and would recommend them to anyone.Services: Tires, Wheel alignment

Normally I would never give Firestone my business, because the company participated in a conspiracy in the 1930's and '40's to defraud America and kill our best chance of robust mass transit.But when your alternator fails on a thousand-mile road trip on a Saturday morning, beggars can't be choosers. And obviously, Travis and the guys at Kingsport Pavilion had nothing to do with the General Motors Streetcar Conspiracy.They took good care of my Honda Accord and got me back up and running to complete my trip. Sure, it was expensive, but everything is now, and the car is running great.Service: Battery

Scheduled an oil change through CarAdvise on 12/10 for 2PM which was a time given by the shop. I arrived on time and they did not appear to be busy as most of the employees were simply standing around. I sat until almost 4PM waiting on them to finish with my oil change that was scheduled. It absolutely does not take 2 hours to perform an oil change on a vehicle. I also watched them pull my vehicle out after finishing and was not told they were finished and rang up until almost half an hour later. Close to 10 people working and 1 person up front to deal with customers. Got home and they had also in the 2 hours they took to change the oil failed to reset the oil life on the dash as well.Service: Oil change

I just needed a diagnosis on my vehicle... The first day I went they said his tech was busy and to bring it back the next morning.. I got there and the tech called in sick..I called the other Firestone and they couldn't do it but was willing to make me an appt. for the next day.. I then found out it was gonna cost $125 for the service.. I could have went to beeline for $20.. I ended up picking up my Jeep from the first Firestone and a good friend had a diagnostic machine so their service was Free... Parts stores do it free but all they can tell you is the code..

FIRESTONE in KINGSPORT can't thank them enough for fixing & doing everything. The Johnson city store wouldn't. & can't thank the manager Justin enough. & all the guys at the KINGSPORT store. Take the xtra drive to KINGSPORT & get it done rite.

We had a screw in my wifes 4 runner that we needed patched. They were so nice and explained the process very well. We were needing it fixed since we would soon be going to the beach. Tyler and the manager (i wish i would have gotten his name) was very helpful! We had our 5 year old son with us who absolutely loves tires and cars and they let him go back with him and help put the glue on the patch and press the pedal to put the tire back on the rim. He was over the moon! These kinds of small acts of kindness is really what makes a business and builds customer relationships for years come! We would highly recommend this place to anybody for your vehicle needs!Service: Tires

Definitely better getting an oil change here on our diesel than at dealership.Better price with good quality service.After that time, I'm hoping it would be better.Getting the tires balanced again, should not happen.Still a good place to get a diesel engine oil change done.
