Just got my 2009 Cadillac CTS that I had traded for a couple weeks ago back from Bill's automotive. It had a gas leak from the elbow on the fuel pump. This is a common problem for this model. But if anybody out there wants a garage to take their vehicle to get repaired take it to Bill. This man is honest and a man of strong faith. His testimony of him moving here from California brought a tear to my eye. He gets 5 stars for their excellent work and fair prices. And 5 stars for their quality of work. Thank the Lord for people like Bill Cox. The world is a better place for people at this garage. Thanks again. Good bless you all.

Bill s Automotive has been keeping our cars in the race for well over 10 years. Their customer service is always excellent and their professional skill is unmatched. They are more than a business They treat you more like family. Fast/courteous/efficient/skillful are words that come to mind when Bill s Automotive comes to mind.

Fantastic group of individuals, working hard to get you back on the road, without burning a hole in your wallet. Understood my problem, played our scenarios, before we even started talking money. Great place to take your car.

I would HIGHLY recommend this place, they did the best job on my car. I was in a mess, and they bent over backwards to help me. You don t see that every day. I had a Cadillac dts another garage had wrecked that didn t know what they were doing. Bills fixed my car and did other things he should have charged me for but didn t, he s that decent of a Christian guy. I wish everyone was like these guys. God bless them. I wish I could give them more stars but it only lets me do 5. God bless Bills I took my Astro van to them the other day and once again they were awesome. They fixed my ABS and my turn signals. When these guys fix a car, it s fixed. They are great.Service: General repairs & maintenance

No one with aito issues should get a run around from a mechanics shop. Wasted a week dealing with someone in the office couldn't set an appointment or figure out a cost, waited for emails calls and txt that never came, showed up twice in person and still no resolution except more excuses. RUN TO ANOTHER FACILITY DONT WASTE YOU TIME MONEY OR EFFORT

Bill and his team are top notch. Been using him for years and has always been more than fair. Uses the top of the line equipment for diagnostics and laser alignment. His phone and schedule does stay busy which is a result of his years of practicing the golden rule. As for his cross out front, I can attest it is not for advertising his business. There is a hair raising story behind it, and I would challenge anyone ( including a judgmental preacher from Boones Creek Christian Community Church) to ask him.Service: Steering & suspension repair

After losing oil pressure in my truck, I limped into Bill s to get a diagnosis. There less than 5 minutes, one of the two mechanics on duty stopped what he was doing, grabbed his diagnostic scanner and gave me an instant reading. Bad sensor it read and he was right on. I installed a new sensor and that did the trick This was one of the most courteous acts I ve witnessed in years. I m indebted to say the least. Stay away from Kingsport Tire and No Care Auto and go to Bill s for your auto service needs!

I am a first time customer of Bill's Auto. Let me tell you, choose these people! They have a great reputation & all were super polite to me when my car was being serviced. My car issues ended up being complex & they solved it! Also they were very clear in their explanations & let us be aware of costs up front & discussed options along the way. Very wonderful people. After the issue was fixed, they even called days later to check to see if everything was still great. Highly recommended!

Saw the good reviews and had a personal recommendation so I took my truck there. It s a 1997 F-150 (pretty common vehicle) and had been overheating at idle. It took 2 weeks to get an appointment and it was known to them the timeline I needed the work done, as it s my only vehicle and I m a single father Show up before they opened at 8am and they were nice enough to drive me home At Noon I call for an update and was told they were just now getting a tech to look at it 4:15 I had to call back, and after an almost 10 minute hold, the tech gets on the phone and tells me he has no idea what s going on. Said it was very low on coolant and there was a leak but didn t see any liquid on the ground after letting it idle for 3 hours outside the bay I questioned him if he was actually looking for a leak if it was just idling in their parking lot for 3 hours. He took great offense to that and told me and to just come pick up the truck that obviously he couldn t fix it. Again, they were nice enough to pick me up, but other than that, I was very disappointed in the customer service, aside from the tech who gave me the rides, and quality of work.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Not long ago I was traveling through the area from out of state when my Suburban started having a little belt noise. I pulled over and parked in a Wal-Mart parking lot to see what was going on. I had the belt and tensioner replaced not long ago at a different shop so I figured it was low odds they were the problem. I had a gut feeling it was a leaking water pump and when I opened the hood I could see coolant all over the engine bay and dripping on the ground.I pulled out my phone to see if there were any shops near and Bill's was just down the road. They had decent reviews and were part of the Certified Auto Repair network so I topped off my coolant and drove down the road to see if they could help.They had a fast look at my engine and confirmed that it was my water pump.When they found out I was from out of town and I had a important meeting the next day in the Knoxville area and this was my only vehicle they kindly offered to work me in their very busy day and get me back on the road.We have all had horror stories told to us about travelers being taken advantage of in their time of need. Not only did Bill and his team get it fixed right the first time and by the end of the day like they promised, the final bill was a bit lower than the already reasonable quoted price that I was given. I was able to make my meeting the next day and my Suburban is going strong. I would not think twice about visiting again for my future repair needs.My deepest thanks to Bill and the guys. 1998 Chevy K1500 pickup truck would not start. Vehicle towed to Bill's Automotive. Mechanic troubleshooting skills found the ignition key switch was faulty and replaced. Very quick service! I like this mechanic, he has a continuous flow of foot traffic as we were waiting on my daughters car. That let's me know he must be doing something right. Everybody that left seemed happy with their service. That speaks volumes also,the phone ring off the hook with more business. He is truly being blessed by the Lord whom he makes known that he serves.

I am new to the Kingsport area. Bill s Automotive was recommended by my sister. I have needed my vehicle serviced there several times. EVERYONE at this business has exhibited the same kind and professional attitude. For each service I was given an estimate and never received an unwelcome surprise when I checked out. This last visit I was unable to get my car before they closed. I called and told them I would come the next day. Later that day, they called and offered to bring my car to me due to a potential snow forecast. Wow. That s going above and beyond for a customer and I certainly appreciate their concern and help. I will recommend Bill s to everyone!

They have always done a great job at a fair price. Once when I told them I would be towing my RV the following week they asked if the could drive it more to make sure all the codes stayed cleared off. I have been doing business with Bill's automotive for at least 6 years. My first experience is a great example of this business. The organization I worked for had a large passenger van with several seat belts that were not working. I took the van to the dealer. I was told they would all have to be replaced at a cost of nearly $2,000. On advice from a friend a took the van to Bill's. I told him what the dealer had said,. After quick look Bill returned to tell me that it looked like some toy coins had been jammed into the locking mechanism. The cost was a nominal labor charge. After this I have only taken my cars to Bill's. He has always worked with me to find the most economical solution. I have sent many friends to Bill's and they have all been pleased.

I was in a very tough spot in life, sleeping in my car, and when my alternator went out Bill and his team actually fixed it and a few other wiring problems for me FOR FREE! I can't express enough how appreciative I am for this service. Bill is an honest christian man and has helped me soo much over the last few months he fixed a truck that the dealer could not as well has provide a way to and from his shop. His crew is amazing and I wish I had him in Greenville South Carolina where I live. He is worth the trip tho. Thanks Bill for being an amazing honest christian and restoring my faith in humanity!!!

I cannot recommend this place enough. I moved to Kingsport less than 2 years ago and didn't know any mechanics in the area. I heard a few good things about this place and took a chance on them. It was one of the best decisions I ever made! I told them what I needed done on my van and they gave me an estimate DOWN TO THE CENT! They guaranteed it wouldn't be a penny more and if they found something else that needed done, they would inform me first with a new estimate and get my permission. They did exactly that. I dropped my van off and had to wait a moment for my father in law to come pick me and my kids up. The employees turned on a wonderful Christian cartoon in the waiting room for my kids while we waited and were so sweet to us! My husband stopped by after he got off work to see how the work was coming and one of the employees, Mike, actually took him to the garage and showed him everything my van needed and walked him step by step through what they believed needed done. He gave him a definite estimate and wanted to make sure we were okay with it before doing anything he'd have to charge for. I dropped my van off Thursday and it was completely done and ready to pick up Friday, with absolutely all the work done and running like almost new! And as a woman, I frequently feel like a lot of garages try to take advantage of women by selling them things they don't really need, but I never had that happen here. That means so much to me! Now, this is NOT the cheapest garage you can go to, but it is the BEST! I'm a firm believer that you get what you pay for and it's certainly true with this garage. You can pay less other places, but I promise the quality won't be nearly as good. This place has my business FOR LIFE. I never write reviews, but I HAD to for this place because it's been the best experience I have EVER had at a shop! Got stuck midway through a cross-country trip while hauling a trailer. Bill's Automotive was great. They fixed my car as fast as they could, and were extremely helpful at every step from diagnosing to actually fixing my old jeep grand cherokee. I would highly recommend Bill's Automotive to anyone. They do honest, good work and speaking as someone who has worked in the automotive repair industry I can honestly say that.

I was called out of town and had to leave quickly. As the trip was a few thousand miles, I needed to make sure everything was squared away on my truck before I hit the road. They squeezed me in first thing in the morning, changed my oil, checked all the fluids and made sure everything was as it should be for a long road trip. And everything ran smoothly. Will I be back? Routinely! They were friendly, efficient and knew what they were doing. More, in some ways, than the dealership. Maybe more but this was my first encounter. They have been voted best for many years, which is why I chose them. Now I see why.

Bill has been doing mechanic work for me on 5 different cars and a truck for several years now at his old location and now at the new one. I have always found Bill to be very knowledgeable and his work to be very well performed. I once broke a rocker arm and had to be towed to Bill's shop. While working on the repairs Bill called and got my permission to replace some other items inside the engine. About a week the "serve engine soon" light came on and they discovered that the Oxygen Sensor was bad (it was one of the items they had replaced). It was not Bill's fault; was not my fault but Bill took the engine back apart and replaced the defective part at no additional cost to me. I find Bill's service to be efficient and his charges for their service to be fair. I have referred many of my friends to Bill, including my son, my sister and my neighbor, and all have thanked me for sending them to Bills.

I like going to Bill's because of his fairness, attention to detail, and his honesty when it comes to auto repairs. I had my car towed over 25 miles to this trusted mechanic. This shop is the one I trust to work on my autos!
