Scott is very great at explaining what s wrong and fixing it in a timely manner. He was very honest with us and provided a good assessment on what was wrong, but recommended we fix only what was needed for safely since the car is older with tons of miles on it. I really appreciate this! Being a female and not knowing anything about cars, most mechanics would try to rip me off. It s happened to me before. I trust Scott and crew and will definitely go there for all future needs. Awesome staff! Great Experience!!

Victory Motors is amazing to work with. Super-friendly and really strive to figure out the problem. They explain everything well, they really care about the life you your vehicle and customer satisfaction. Prices are fair and it s gives you peace of mind to know your vehicle is in good hands.

Brought my truck in to have a upper ball joint changed and they tried to tell me my truck needed several different things fixed on it funny part is everything they said was false trucks been to 3 different places today just to prove that this place is a joke watch out ppl they will scam you

I have been dealing with Victory Motors for over 5 years. There is not a more reputable and honest group of folks in business, not just auto repair. The quality of their work is second to none and I have recommended them to many friends who are also very happy with their work and prices. They maintain all my vehicles as well as my son's and daughter's.Scott Gutshall is the most knowledgeable and honest individual I have ever encountered in auto repair. Every experience I have had with victory motors has always been excellent.. I have taken all my cars there for 17 years. And have always been satisfied. Scott is a great mechanic and very friendly. Would recommend to anyone who needs car repair.

What a refreshing change to have your car serviced by such a great team! I have had my Saturn, Jaguar and BMW all serviced here and have never had a problem. Scott s team is professional, courteous and does all work as promised. I have sent several friends and family members to Victory Motors with the same satisfaction as myself. If you need a honest mechanic in Johnson City ..go to Victory Motors!!

I had to take my vehicle up there yesterday to get a price quote on some work I thought I needed to have done. After talking with Scott, I went away knowing that he is someone who is incredibly knowledgeable and also takes great pride in his work. I also enjoyed speaking with Pat! I would absolutely recommend Victory Motors!

The people who work here are always super friendly and professional. This is the only mechanic shop I've ever been to where they explain the technical aspects of the repair work, and I've never once felt the kind of pressure you sometimes get when you're at a more well-known corporate auto shop. And the prices are super reasonable too, some of the work I've had done here would've cost me way more at the places I used to go to. Oh and I live in Asheville and am always more than willing to drive up to JC for repair work because these guys are that awesome!!

I have done business with Victory Motors for many years now. I have purchased two vehicles from them. They are honest, hardworking people. I have never trusted a mechanic as much as I trust Scott or a sales person as much as I trust Lau. If you are looking for a mechanic who is competent, open, and honest or a reasonably priced used vehicle with no funny business, this is the place.

I HIGHLY recommend Scott and Victory Motors in Johnson City, TN. He worked on my 94 Mercedes SL500. Fixed a problem that others could not. I even had a bad part and he corrected that too. Now my car runs like a dream. As a business owner myself, I can tell when someone cares!

This shop is family owned and run. There is one ASE Certified Master Technician and he does all of the work himself. He's smart, honest, and does great work. I went through a lot of shops in this area before finding someone that I trusted to touch my car, and Scott is now the only one allowed under my hood. A smart, competent mechanic? And he's honest?! AND he has great prices?!! I know. I didn't think it was possible either. His shop is right behind Harbor House. Go check it out.

I took my vehicle in to have the water pump replace. I asked them to replace the timing belt too. I picked up my car after (3) days of work and paid them $777.00 for the service. I broke down on the interstate on the way home. I called the mechanic (Scott) and he told me to pay for the towing back to his shop. My car has been at his shop now for over a week. Scott has NOT owned up to his mistakes while replacing my timing belt. I have valve and piston problems because the timing was NOT done properly. Scott has to send it to another garage to have it fixed and want me to pay another $300.00 - $1,100.00 to fix his mistakes. He was supposed to call me back and give me status of my vehicle and refuse to return my calls. I have never experienced anything like this in my life. I can NOT believe that honest people will do this to hard working people. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. I moved here after retiring from the United States Marine Corps. Johnson City is a beautiful place to live. Just be aware of the 10% of people who lack integrity and professionalism. I lost my vehicle and have to replace it without any faults to Victory Motors. Where is the justice? Semper Fi!!!

Scott at Victory Motors has gotten me out of a bind on multiple occasions, and each time taught me something that has proven to be helpful later on in my vehicle's life. This place is the best....its a family run shop that is expert at repairs very nice and kind...and honest as the day is long....Scott ..who is the son and master auto tech. is very friendly and will explain to you exactly what is going on and repair it right the first time...mom runs the front office...and dad handles the used cars ...and mom said all of the used vehicles are thoroughly inspected and gone over before being sold.....I'm new to the area and I've gone to some of the local businesses and mentioned that I took my pickup to them and 2 different store owners told me that's the only place they would take there vehicles ....just give them a try and you'll probably be very glad you did!

This place didn't know by mouth what could be wrong it what even was wrong and they were able to figure out what was completely wrong without he telling them what happened! Have used this place so many times between me and my mom and I wouldn't go to anyone else for any mechanic reasons! Best place in town and will tell you what's wrong with your car in terms that you can understand yourself!! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!!

Most HONEST MECHANIC that I know!!! He has always treated Fair, which is more than I can say for most mechanics. He solves problems then does the repair. He won t spend your money on unneeded services!!!! Charles Cole

Oil drain plug on daughter's car was stripped. Scott fixed that, showed me exactly what happened too. Oh and did a complete oil change & fluids tire pressure service to top it off.

In late 2009 my wife and son were stranded in Johnson city out of town from their trip from asheville, a good samaratin brought them and their car to Scott due to a bad water pump, Midas wanted over $800.00 to replace the part on a 4cyl dodge stratus, Scott did the water pump and the timing belt, complete service for around $400.00... also his mother became known as the candy lady for befriending my son who was 6 at the time... Scott is ASE certified and as far as I can tell, he wrote the book on GM, I have been bringing him my farm trucks ever since... he's honest, and has no intention of taking advantage of the confusion that can come from vehicle complications... if you need an accurate and honest person to help you understand your vehicle and you want a repair done right the first time once and for all, there's really no other choice in the tie cities area ...
