Good deals sometimes Milwaukee tools are to high for me i know you get what you pay for but i just cant talk myself into the price when other brands are cheaper and serve same purpose

this is my go to store for tools and such due to the store mgr and the staff he keeps! Not to mention the good product quality! the only problem i have had is I received a $25.00 gift or loyalty card from the company and when I tried to redeem it didn't have a balance!! Hopefully your company will see fit to rectify this issue!

Quick and easy to navigate website. Using the $20 discount card was not an issue. Free shipping with pickup at my store within 3 days. All around good experience.

Did not have item's website said available but did have item's website said they did not have.The clerk was helpful.It was the 5th time we have in for item's and did they did not have them. They need to update website accuracy.

The young woman at the front Anne, helped me out tremendously, she quickly got me the item I was looking for as well as helped me order several items online. I have never had such good customer service from a store like I did with this excellent young woman.

I will never shop at the Johnson City Norther tools. I ordered online and called and asked for help on a product. The comment from the man on the phone was " We did not make nay money on the sale of that product why should we help you. Call the main number" I think this statement says it all for how this store believes in helping people,

Northern Tool has lots of options for yard work, safety equient, and tools. We signed up for the email-mailer and we get lots of discounts, notifications, and special offers. I'm not a professional, but I get my professional tools for my homestead at Northern Tool.

My first time visiting. I didn't shop beyond the Milwaukee Tools area, but their selection was outstanding and Pam was a very friendly and helpful employee. I will shop here again

Ordered online using ship to store. It's been almost 2 weeks and it's still not available to pick up. It shows Partial Order received. These are all basic Milwaukee items. Home Depot has them in stock and has better service. I called to cancel the order and they said they can't cancel my order until it all gets to the store!I'm not sure how they can compete with Home Depot or Amazon when they can get your purchases to you within 1-2 days.

Terrible experienceCustomer service is absolutely terrible.Purchased wood stove online. Promised delivery from 2 days to 3 weeks. Was told it was an online purchase the store could not help. Asst Mrg was rude,and said since we ordered it online the store wasn't responsible for it.Called the Headquarters,Store Mrg and asked to speak with the District manager.After we cancel and called our bank to file a claim they somehow got the stove delivered.

I have been a long time customer of Northern Tool and have made many purchases over the years. Most of the purchases have been in the store (not online) since we have a store in Johnson City, Tn that is close to my home. Every store representative is good to work with but one gentleman (Rickey) will always go out of his way to make sure that I get my questions answered as well as to help me find exactly what I am looking for. He is extremely knowledgeable about their products and is always willing to help me with a very professional attitude. I have had good luck with the many purchases that I have made over the years and will continue to shop there in the future. I ll have to admit that I usually try to find Rickey when I visit the store since he has been so helpful in past visits. I highly recommend this store and their employees. Thoroughly enjoy shopping there

Update: I cannot ten stars but if I could, Northern's people in Johnson City definitely deserve it. Great people, excellent prices.I had a really awesome experience with the staff being knowledgeable and friendly both on the phone and in person. Huge selection of hardware and tools remarkably reasonably priced. Highly recommended this store to my family, friends and complete strangers. I will definitely be going back for their hydraulic press!!!

Came over july 16th,2023 to buy a stihl weed cutter,which they did have in stock,was in the about 20 minutes,the only employee visible was the young lady working the register,finally left the store and drove to erwin to Curts Ace hardware and purchased a stihl weed cutter.

I bought a Stihl trimmer and blower from Northern tools on April 29 and since the day I bought the Stihl it s had a weird small knocking sound and today I went to use it and now it s making a weird grinding sound but still works good, I called up there and a guy said bring up here and take it to the front well I drove all the way to Johnson city and I get in there and they start taking everything down and then said we ll there s a $60 fee and if it s warranted you ll get it back why couldn t they d told me that to start with I ll never buy Northern tools again because of this From now on I ll go to cox tractor in Kingsport tn

I love this store. It s much easier to shop at than a bigger box store, has a better selection, and great customer service. The assistant manager Josh even stopped to make sure I was finding everything I was looking for. I will always stop here when in Johnson City from now on. Great team of employees who are nice customers and the store is always clean!

The only reason why I would say you should consider this store for your needs is if you absolutely have no where else to go. The manager told me that I was to stupid to understand what he was trying to say. I had purchased a auger from them and a part broke in 5 days of having it. They were not helpful at all and the only thing I could do is to call the company and complain that the warranty should cover it. The employees will only try to start fights with the customers and they try to make it out like you are a problem for having a problem with the way they handle the problems with product.

I walked this store for 30 min before I was able to get someone attention. Once a stop a female she looked as if we were bothering her and didn t want to assist. She asked another associate to assist we asked about the product online which stated was available in store. The response was I should have purchased online. I drove from Summerville area to store for assistance and this attitude makes me not even want to purchase from the company. Attitude and customer service means a lot and the store on Rivers Ave need retraining in theses areas!!!!

I live about 2 hours from the Johnson City store, so I don't frequent this business as often as I would if they were closer. But in my trips there, I have found this store to be well stocked with the type of tools and workwear that I use. The store employees have always been friendly and helpful and even price matched items to help me maximize the bang for my buck. Kudo's to those in this store that are willing to help.

The store itself is nice.The associates left me with the impression that they did not want to be bothered with me. I was if I recall correctly the only customer in the store and it was about 2:00 pm in the afternoon.

I just had a great experience with the guys at the Johnson City store while deciding on a tool box for my truck. Kevin F. and the crew were over the top in regards to customer service. He patiently let me try different boxes in my truck to really see how they fit. Who else would do that? Very happy with the purchase and the overall experience. Kevin get the fueltank you deserve it.( inside joke )

This review is regarding the Johnson City, TN location of Northern Tool. I shop here every now and then and everyone is ALWAYS so nice and helpful! How a store should be. I applied for a management position here and was actually interviewed today.. I was BLOWN AWAY by the comfortability of the interview. Job interviews are NOT my strong suit at all EVER! My anxiety almost cripples me in those situations.. This was NOT THE CASE! That store manager is everything a store manager should be! He was inviting and laid-back. Not intimidating at all. He made a typically uncomfortable situation comfortable and I felt I could be myself and be confident. I was able to answer all his questions without a single bump in the road! He has similar views to me regarding work ethic and morals and his friendliness just made this the easiest interview I've ever had. I really hope I get this job as I could see this being a good thing for me as well as the company. We'll see!!!

I had Northern Tool order a briggs & Stratton motor for my log splitter. I took my old motor with me and said I need the exact same size motor. I paid $324.10 for it. I was told it would take 5 business days for it to come in to Norther Tool and they said they would call me. After 2 weeks I called and they said it was in. I was told I has 90 days to return it for a full refund. After 90 days there would be a 15% restock fee. I didn't need my log splitter at the time so I waited until now to swap it. When I opened the box I realized the shaft was larger and wouldn't work on my log splitter. I called and talked to the manager and he said I would have to have a receipt to get a refund minus a 15% restock fee even thought they are the ones that ordered the wrong motor in the first place. When I got to Johnson City Northern Tool. The manager took my receipt and said. "I sorry this was ordered from an outside company and you only had 5 days to return it, you should have read the receipt." It was their mistake in the 1st place and it cost me $324.10 because Northern Tool can't do their job right. I will never do business with them again and I will let everyone I know how they can make mistakes and the customer is punished for their stupidity.
