Excellent experience - highly recommend.Josh did an amazing job on my muffler-delete Chrysler Crossfire. Had to build a custom exhaust to keep the factory look. Just the sound I was looking for, bad a$$ but not crazy.Professional, friendly and fast working. Reasonable price for quality work.

From my initial call to my appointment Feb 6 2024, I was impressed with Jason's (owner) honesty, professionalism and kindness. I had backed into block wall and bent the end of my muffler. He was able to straighten out in 10 minutes. Don't go by the 1 or 2 bad reviews, give Jason a try. Thank you Jason, a breath of fresh air with all the greed today.

I strongly discourage anyone from using this exhaust shop for non-American vehicles as they make snap decisions on cars they do not know about and without the proper information.I currently drive an Audi B9 S4/5, a vehicle with one turbo, and ONE catalytic converter that is directly off the turbo, but was told repeatedly by this shop that what I wanted (a VPS pre-resonator delete) was something they can not do as it modified the cats . I tried informing this shop that no, they are mistaken as Audi themselves offer this modification as a factory option, something they would NOT do if it was modifying emissions standards, but they ignored me.I admittedly did not send a screenshot from the forums or ProDemand showing the exhaust diagrams to prove this shop was wrong, but I was so frustrated that I didn t think to do that. In my head, I assumed they Googled the kit I brought for them. I did, however, try to explain this in detail over the phone. This is also something that other owners across the nation mentioned happening, but I assumed that going with a local shop that is known for working on performance vehicles would mean I could explain myself. I could not.

I literally coasted into Murphy's Muffler with an overheating cat converter that essentially locked my car down. I had my 84 yr old disabled mother with me. We were over an hour from home...and it had already been a long, stressful day...Hunter put down his tools and immediately pulled up the diagnostic codes...which proved out one of the catalytic converters was the culprit...and we had stalled in the parking lot of a specialty exhaust shop that listed cat converters as a primary service.The bad luck! The extraordinary good luck!Details on the wacko next three hours aren't necessary...but suffice to say that the owner, Josh Murphy, and his partner Hunter, were kind and accomodating. They quoted us a fair price on the repairs and helped us find a rental car...which didn't happen, because Johnson City hadn't one car available...even at the airport.We were stranded...away from home...and my mom was flagging fast. Josh and Hunter helped us find a nearby hotel...and gave us a ride...insisting even though it meant hauling two distraught women packing a cane, a walker, and a wheelchair.Seriously....these guys are our heroes. We got acquainted with another customer during our 3 hour wait for AAA...who highly recommended their work. So, we left the car at Murphy's Mufflers, and felt good about it. I mean...the car's cat converter failed in a cat converter shop. Destiny?So...no one likes a day like this...or an unexpected major repair...especially when one is stranded away from home. But, all in all, Josh and Hunter ended up being angels in disguise...and radical heroes

Came in at 10:25am for scheduled appt, left around 11:20am, one hour later. They were quick and did a great job replacing the catalytic converter on my old truck. Cool guys, knew what they were talking about, and promptly got the truck taken care of.Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

I took my car in to get worked on, but turns out there s nothing wrong with my muffler/exhaust. The people working there were still very nice, helpful, and recommended me a good place to take it.

Josh did me right on repairing my exhaust when someone left a big black steel plate in the middle of the road at night and when I ran over it, it bounced up and hit my exhaust and destroyed it. Josh gave me a fair price and got me back on the road and the car sounds great.

First time user of their service. Had an 11am appointment and arrived a little bit early. They took my vehicle right in and where able to replace a section of the pipe vs a more costly entire length. Done in 30 minutes, amazing because I am not a stranger to service bays. 5 star performance.

They installed a cat back exhaust kit on my vehicle. I called and made an appt, they started work on my car promptly, the kit needed some slight modification which they completed. Affordable. Two issues with my car. Went in for one. He showed me the second issue. Left with it fixed and felt like I had gotten a good deal. They also worked me into the busy schedule. Only thing I would ding would be waiting area and building looks like a metal shed with some cheap tile and older furniture. You can smell whatever they use to fix mufflers. But who really cares about building, floors, furniture, or smells. I didn't mind. I still give them a 5 star for working me in and being very affordable. Seems trustworthy. Will be back.

I had a problem with my exhaust system and am going on vacation next week. I called and spoke to the friendly people there at Murphy s Muffler and they said drop it off the same day and they would take a look at it. I dropped off my suv at 9 am and it was repaired by noon! Very reasonable cost and top notch work! I wholly recommend Murphy s Muffler as the place to go for your exhaust work. They ll treat you right!

Had some weird noises coming from my muffler this morning, so I wanted to get it checked out. So I took the car to the shop today. One of the technicians walked out, turned my car on and knew exactly what was wrong. Super fast service (less than 30 minutes), with very friendly employees.

My car was making a terrible noise. Was told it was probably the muffler took it to murphys and was in and out in 30 minutes. Very honest guys and the price was awesome. Don't hesitate to check them out if you have muffler problems. You will be glad you did.

Friendly and polite, they replaced more than the muffler on the bottom of my 4-Runner & in a little more than a hour. They have reasonable prices.
