The customer service here is absolutely unparalleled! This has been my third set of tires purchased here, and time after time the Johnson City Discount Tire staff goes above and beyond to look after their customer and his car. Every one of my slightly obsessive requests was respected right down to where I wanted the car parked for the afternoon until I could come pick it up. Zach and Bobby never once made me feel silly for making such requests either. I highly recommend this location!

Got a new set of Michelin Defenders. My son ordered them online, I checked in via the app. There was a line inside, but a technician came and got my keys. It took maybe 45 minutes to get everything done! They came back and handed me the keys and the receipt. It was so simple! Highly advise the online purchase and scheduling. Tires ride great! I ll be back in a few months for a rotation!

I took my car down for new lug nuts and balancing. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. I felt welcomed and they did a great job. Very fast service. We will definitely be taking our car to them going forward!

I feel conflicted about giving this review. The customer service has always been top notch. However, there are things much more important than customer service. I purchased a set of Michelin Tires in 2022. In June, I had the tires rotated. I never thought another thing about it. Last week, my wife called me to tell me our van was making a horrible noise and she was afraid to drive the vehicle. I scheduled an appointment with my mechanic. When he called me, his words were, "You will not believe what I found." The lug nuts on two tires (same side) were on backward and working loose. The tire was in danger of completely falling off. A wheel hub and bearing was damaged and had to be replaced. I am not one to sue. However, I just want (1) Discount Tire to be aware of problem for training purposes, and (2) the public to be aware also. You can't assume anything...even lug nuts being put on correctly by a tire company.

When I first came to get my tires changed everything was fine. However when they told me my car was ready to go I got in and headed home on my way home I noticed something in my seat. Just a metal piece. I had no clue what this was and thought that maybe they just accidentally left it in my car. Just left in the seat. Of course I didn t know what it was so I just threw it away. Well a couple months later I come back for my tire rotation and they come out asking me where a piece is and I have no idea what they re talking about at first but then I remember that metal piece in the seat and I tell them about that and how I threw it away because no one told me what it was and how it was just left in the seat. They really need to let people know what that is because I didn t even know that was a thing. (I m 21) and was by myself. And now they re charging me $5 per tire to get off the locked thing. And then $40 for non-locked ones. This was supposed to be a free tire rotation. I understand that it s not completely their fault. But they should explain what that piece laying in the car was.EDIT: when I just tried to leave my car was making a weird sound and had them come check it out. They are now looking at it to see why it s making that noise. This is ridiculous.

I came in to have my tires rotated on my Classic car. Well they told me the tires were more than 10 years old. And would be safe to rotate. Well after looking at the date. The tires are Not more than 10 years old. I feel the young guy just didn't want to do the work and would rather talk with his buddies and play on his phone as that is exactly what he did as I pulled away. Just sad! I'll never go back!

I love that place. First, I had great service and a great price when I bought my tires. Anytime I need my tire pressure checked, or a tire rotation, etc., they are polite, quick and efficient. I recommend Discount Tire to everyone. They are nationwide, so wherever you go, you will find a Discount Tire. Once you are a customer, you are their customer nationwide, and they will take care of whatever issue you have, wherever you go. Discount Tire is number 1 in my book.

Had an issue they gave me the car back with my tpms light on. I had to go back, they thought they had the sensors on them to replace mine, they didn t, then they forgot to place the order for the new ones, I followed up a week later to find out they forgot to place the order, then I found the tpms replacement for cheaper from a local tire place. When I called to let them know, I was hoping they would match or beat the other deal, they let me tell the story and get off the phone. All good, but 1 star.

Would not recommend. Purchased one Michelin tire on Saturday. The tire sensors were supposed to have been reset. After their service I took my truck to my daughter s. The next day I got in my truck and all of the readings for my tires did not show on my tire pressure information. One was 41, one was 45, one was 44, one was - -, so one of the pressure sensors is bad. I do not know if all of the sensors were reset. I paid 370.76 for the new tire, the resetting of all four tire sensors and other fees and charges. They knew I had to go out of town and back home to South Carolina the following day. Now I will have to pay to have the sensors reset or replaced, depending on the damage that has been done and for the job that they were supposed to have done and were paid to do. Again, I would not recommend.

Very good experience. Before I could even get out of the parking lot I was met and got my details right away. Waited maybe 40 minutes as a walk-in and a fantastic experience all around. I asked to take care of my brake calipers and a mild stretch tire - all was taken care of. 10/10 thanks guys!

Fast friendly service. Their tires are always good and their prices are low enough.Making an appointment takes little time and has never been a hassle.Reminders are sent out for tire rotations which are free for 4he life of the tire.

Well, there professional, but don't make you feel uncomfortable. Very helpful, they reached out to me, letting me know that the tires I wanted were months out. For a cheaper price, with same professionalism they put my new shoes on. #discounttire#1

They just put a new set of tires on my 4Runner and I couldn't be happier. They walked me through the entire process and broke down every possible tire I questioned. They also do free air checks & plugs for anyone. I highly recommend them.

Was dreading going to replace my tires and thought I would be overwhelmed by having little knowledge but that was quite the opposite. David was a great help and he set me up with 4 new tires for a great price. I also thought it would be an all day affair but I was in and out within 1 hour so that was fantastic as well. I would highly recommend coming here for your tire needs. 10/10!

Purchased a new set of rims from here.Price was a little bit more then what they are off of the brands website. But happy with the overall experience. Tho I couldn't find brands that I recognized here.Staff were super friendly as well.Took almost no time to get the new set on.10/10 experience.

Very good service. I had an appointment to have an alignment and didn't leave a lot of time for the installation when I arrived. The team got it done in time to make my appointment. Review would have been 5 starts if you would do alignments!

Such a great group of employees. Made me feel very at ease. I ordered new rims and it took longer than expected to get them. This was the suppliers fault, not Discount Tire. They were so apologetic and I felt it was sincere.From the minute they answer the phone, till they hand you your keys back, they are the nicest folks of any business I've dealt with. Definitely will be returning.

Great experience from an EV owner. I have been taking my model 3 to discount since 2019. During my first visit the supervisor brought me out the pucks to lift the car properly and ensured they would follow manufacturer s specs. Each time they have been quick and efficient on the only real maintenance to my vehicle. Cheers!

I've been a Firestone customer for more than 15 years. I've never received the kind of service there that I received at Discount. They were fast,courteous and efficient. I'll definitely be back.

Stripped my lug nut off completely I had to take to a shop to get fixed bc they didn't stop to tell me, also admitted they weren't a mechanic but decided to destroy the lug anyways. Been coming here for atleast 3 different vehicles but this will be the last. Now I'm fighting to get this taking care of when they coukd have stopped and told me 30min sooner after an over hour wait time. Would not recommend this shop anymore.

We have bought tires from discount tires since they opened on market st in Johnson city Tn. Last week our 19 year old granddaughter got a nail in a rear tire. She went by discount tire to have them patch the tire. They told her where the nail was they couldn t fix it to be safe. A new tire was going to be $120. She told them she didn t have the money to get a tire, to just put the old one back on. The manager Bob said ok went back to her vehicle and had the guys put a new tire on it at no cost.I called next day to thank them and they were worried about her safety more than the $120 buck. Thank you all for putting her safety over money. We will continue to buy from you all!
