After my son's recent move into the area, I was tasked with finding an and reliable auto repair company. I checked into American and Import Auto Repair and was not only impressed with the reviews but also my initial visit.We had two cars that required routine maintenance.The service was performed quickly with an inspection that was comprehensive compared to what we had done before.They pointed out issues that are eventually going to need to be addressed but indicated that could be addressed later.Both vehicles had slow tire air leaks and were repaired for no additional charge.Prices are reasonable and communication by the mechanics is exceptional.Special shout out to Josef and the excellent mechanics that worked on our vehicles..I would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for an honest and reliable auto repair shop.

Professional, friendly and fast.Popped in to have a check engine light looked into. Great news it wasn't anything serous. It was so refreshing that the shop manager shared my fear and relief that it was not something detrimental to my car or my wallet. I felt like I was amongst family. I recommend this shop. Nice waiting room with food and drinks too

We are fairly new to the area and needed a trustworthy shop to service our vehicles and these guys came highly recommended. We have had our Jeep wrangler, Ram 2500 diesel and Toyota 4Runner all serviced for various high mileage needs. Very attentive and kind and so far, the work has been top notch!

I used American Imports and unfortunately had some hiccups with the services done. However, management worked hard to rectify the problems. Cynthia, in particular, went the extra mile to make sure we were happy. For me, the measure of a shop contends on good the customer service is. How they act when things go wrong or customers are upset speaks volumes. The management team here does a great job!!

I had to have new engine and clutch assembly . they done an excellent job. Very nice people with integrity professional. And. They all work as a team. My jeep is like a new one.i will be using american and import repair for now on. Thx Josef and Cynthia.

Miss diagnosis of problem not once but twice. Was told the problem was a bad transmission when, in fact, it was the wheel bearings that I had already paid them to replace and the did not, apparently, want to honor warranty. Although I suppose it's good I believed I needed a new transmission or I wouldn't have found other shotty work they did that almost cost me my engine. I had also paid them to change my timing belt timing tensioner and waterpump as a prevention service. When I removed my engine and transmission I realized that the tensioner was barely holding tension and had spun out 90� and in a bind between the plastic cover. Had it worn through the piece of plastic my valves would have met catastrophic demise. I can forgive mistakes and once is a mistake. Patterns of history, however, isn't just wonton disregard but intentional malevolence. Also the timing job would have required the camshaft covers would have to be removed and replaced which I know they didn't do because I did and they were the originals from manufacturer. Avoid them at all cost as they are also one of the most expensive around. In another part of life I used to be a jet mechanic. Just because I didn't want to do the job doesn't mean I can't do the job. No business integrity or quality control.

I took my chevy cruise in to find out why my turbo engine was acting up. They have the best mechanic I've ever seen. He fixed it and it's running great now.

Had my motor recently replaced here and they done a terrific job! super awesome to work with, very well priced, warranty on the part and the labor but has worked perfectly since getting my mazda back. definitely recommend

American and Import Auto Repair have done a lot of work on our personal vehicles over the years. They have always done a fantastic job to ensure our vehicles are working properly and that we are aware of any maintenance issues. We have always felt like they have done quality work we can trust in when we've had service done on our vehicles here. They are good at communicating all the information to us, having no problem with taking time to explain things to us if needed. All the staff are pleasant to deal with.

We recently moved to the area and needed to find a new mechanic. We brought our car in to diagnose an oil leak and American & Import Auto Repair exceeded my expectations. They quickly scheduled us for an estimate on the repairs, sent us a report (with pictures) on items needing to be addressed and communicated the repairs and timeframes to complete the repairs. We talked through the estimate and chose the services to perform. The repairs were done on time and they contacted us with options for pickup (during business hours or after business hours). I highly recommend American & Import Auto Repair!

I had a concern about the quality of the brakes that were installed on my jaguar XF. They completely replace the entire brake pads and rotors with new components under warranty.Fantastic people to work with, and they are willing to go the extra mile. I found my local auto shop! American & Import Auto are very honest and that's about 50% of finding a good repair shop. I had a minor issue with my Honda Micro-Truck that a dishonest mechanic could have easily gouged me for over $1000 but they didn't. They also fixed the truck in one day!My micro-truck's electrical system died (battery good but no power when key was turned) and I had it towed to American & Import Auto. They found the main power 50 amp fuse was corroded and needed to be replaced but the part wasn't available (the Honda Micro-Truck was never sold here in the US) so they replaced the assembly with an available part and got me back on the road for much less money than I was expecting to pay. My experience with A&I Auto could not have been better.Service: Electrical repair

They have performed a few vehicle inspections for me. Their results are outstanding. They give a comprehensive report with pictures of any issues, at a very reasonable rate. I can not say enough about how I appreciate their work and professionalism.

Went to American & Import Auto Repair after having issues elsewhere. They got the diagnosis in very quickly and the appointment date was also able to be keep. Once there they found more issues with my vehicle, and they made sure I was aware of the issue and helped me out where they could with the cost due the severity of some of the issues another place had caused. They also made sure I was able to get home and back to the shop once it was realized it would be a few days before I d have my car back. Great service and would highly recommend as a shop to anyone.

Awesome service and it s a local family owned operated place! The mechanic was quick and professional, honest, great customer service and a job wonderful well done. They come to you with all the necessary equipment to do your repair. Repair was done in a timely manner and the technicians are very knowledgeable. Definitely surpassed my expectations. DON'T GO!! BAD VERY BAD COMPANY!!!! PLEASE READ WORTH THE READ!!! If i could rate this company a zero star I would. I beg of you all please DON'T GO to this company. Went in for a 4th cylinder misfire, had a dynastic done that morning when check engine light was on and that was the only thing that it read. The person that did the test cleared it by asking if I wanted it done I said yes please due to anxiety and panic attacks. Took it straight to this shop afterwards explained to them up front what the issue was and was ignore I guess because I'm a woman. Told them 4th cylinder misfire it needed to be replaced. They refused to listen said they would run their tests on it and look at. They said they would call back next day never called back. I ended up calling that day to be told they would send it to me. A few minutes go by it is sent with about 9, 000.00 dollars worth of stuff they found wrong with our car. NONE stated the 4th cylinder. When asked if they checked it they stated they couldn't without the check engine light on. They stated the transmission was leaking. They asked if we wanted them to put fluid in it after saying it only had 1qt in it. They still refused to listen about the 4th cylinder at this point when asked. We hadn't seen any signs of leaks as well. It had just been sealed and filled 3 weeks prior to taken it there.They apparently put fluid in it and sealed it back up. Then said they will check it out and call back. They never did next day i call again to be told we needed a new transmission for 6000.00. We went to pick the car up after not being able to afford it. Took it to our regular mechanic in our town. They changed the 4th cylinder and plug. The car is fixed running again, American Imports says stuff is wrong that isn't and tries charging double to fix it. If it is something simple they try avoiding that issue say many other things is wrong just to make more money.Called to asked for owner they refused to let me speak to him. Said he left for the day. Said i would call tomorrow to speak to him they said he won't be in. Cynthia the manager refused to accept the fact they were wrong. Argues over the fact the transmission is bad and leaking. Refused to believe my state qualified mechanic that owns his own shop as well checked everything they did and it came out only very few minor things were wrong. Stated the transmission was in good shape and not leaking. Second opinions really do count when dealing with American Imports. BTW my regular mechanic was able to run a dynastic test without a check engine light on and was able to find the 4th cylinder misfire.

Took my car in with an oil and wrench lite on. They checked it and said it needed axle oil seals. Would have to leave keep over night, but took 3 days. Got it back but found a big puddle oil on drive way . Oil leak worse. I guess the band aid came off, after paying 900.+$, called and took it back, said a part had broke,,??? Service time before was a oil change. Starting missing, took it back mechanic said the breather latches were unhook, and charge $91 for the find. ???O well it s seem to be working now. X

I have never had an issues with them. They are very thorough and do not try to push stuff on you for more money. I absolutely love this place. They have great prices on yearly maintenance. I have been using this company for about a year now. I recently took my Chevy Tahoe here for a tune-up. Prior to actually dropping off my vehicle , I called ahead and received beneficial information from Cindy regarding pricing, availability of a loaner car, specific parts that were to be used on the tune-up and the length of time it would require to complete the service. Josef was very professional and courteous when I dropped off my truck. The loaner vehicle was very nice, comfortable and obviously, well taken care of. The very next day, the tune-up and axle shaft seal leak were completely fixed. The work that was done comes with a warranty as well. This was my first experience with American and Import Auto Repair and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them!! I found them to be very honest, courteous, polite and offered excellent, professional service from start to finish. It is also nice to know they stand by their work with a warranty and were very appreciative of my business! If my Tahoe needs to be serviced in any way, I will feel confident in EVERY way, with American and Import Auto Repair! Very pleased and nice job!

I went there to have a torque converter replaced and they said they replaced the the torque converter only thing I had replaced was the amount and I highly recommend you make sure you're very specific with them on the receipt they gave me it says they replace the torque converter but in all reality it was and I was charged $500

I had a bad wheel bearing on our civic that sounded like it was going to explode at anytime.called America & import got a appointment,went in had fixed.Sounds great now. I waited on it to get fixed the staff was very nice and I was made to feel at home.
