This was my first time using Independent for my repairs/ maintenance on my Dodge truck. Wow!! What a great experience. Adam and his team went above and beyond what I had expected to do a complete and comprehensive inspection of my truck. I had brought it in for a suspected turbocharger problem which turned out not the issue and I'm comfortable with their findings and the other repairs they made. Needless to say, I'll be taking my vehicles to Independent for any repair/ maintenance in the future.

Great place. The guys treat people with the most respect and very polite. They stand by there work 100% even if they have to fix it for free and to me that's means everything. If anyone ask me where to go independent auto and diesel repair is the only one I will point them to.

These guys have always been straight and willing to work with me. I've taken multiple vehicles to them, and it's been right every time.They do tires as well. They helped me fix a problem from a tire place in town. They went with me on a drive so I could point out the problem.Highly recommended.

I have a RV and the batteries were leaking acid and smoking. We are new to Jamestown and didn t have a quality automotive place to have the RV repaired. Independent Auto was highly recommended by a family member that had several great experiences using them. I called and spoke with Adam he had me bring in my vehicle as soon as I could. They replaced both RV batteries and the service was incredible!It is very hard to find a facility to fix a RV in this area and I just picked up my RV for a total oil change and 6 tire rotation and once again it was a great experience! Adam and AJ are great to work with and I highly recommend Independent Automotive for any automotive needs!Services: Auto battery replacement, Auto engine diagnostic, Tire rotations, Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

Well I am not a person who will do reviews. I am old school. Being said when a company does an awesome job. They need to be thx and praised. This company is awesome. Their knowledge surpassed what I could ever do. So if you want it done correctly. Call them. They have my vote. Always.

I highly recommend these guys at Independent Auto and Diesel Repair. I m from upstate NY and was looking at a used truck at a dealer a few miles down the road. I have decent experience working on my own vehicles but 2nd gen Cummins is new to me so I wanted some expert eyes on the truck having come so far.They performed a very thorough inspection and found several issues I would have missed. They were very friendly and professional and took time to show me the things they were finding.Despite the claims, admitted ignorance and lies of the dealer this truck was going to need a lot of money sunk into it right away. I walked away thankful I spent the time and money to have Independent Auto and Diesel look at it.If ever I am in Tennessee again in need a good mechanic these guy would be my first call.

Buying a used truck can be very stressful. Independent auto & diesel took the fear out of buying a bad used truck.I had them give me a full report on the truck with pictures of what problems it had.They gave an estimate on the cost of repairs. I now have a truck that I know will last me years. Plus, they gave a warranty on the repairs.I wish I could give more than 5 stars!Look at the screenshots of the report they gave me below.Thank you for the confidence to buy used vehicles.

My husband was having issues with his truck. He called Independent Auto & Diesel Repair. They got it in on the next business day and had him back on the road the following day. They also serviced his 4 wheel drive that had been giving him some issues. Thank you AJ and the rest of the crew for taking care of this for us. He is lost without his truck.

I took my 2008 Toyota premise to Independent autos they done a terrific job they checked everything out fixed up everything that needed to be fixed they were very polite and courteous they did an excellent job my car drove like a new one when I got it back I recommend them highly

Brian, Brittany and their team are the best! They do excellent work and are very professional, more so than many dealerships except with all the expense, hassle, and time consumption that comes with having to go to a dealership. AJ and Adam worked closely with my wife and I on multiple vehicles (both diesel & gas) and we've been 100% satisfied every time. Even though they stay busy I m always surprised how quickly Landon, Shad, and others in the shop are able to turn around our cars so we can get back on the road. They also take the time to do thorough vehicle inspections followed with a nice, detailed inspection report with pictures to let you know if you have any other major problems going on that should be fixed. These guys are honest, dependable, and always stand behind everything they do. I highly recommend to anyone to use this shop!

I highly recommend these guys for all of your automotive needs. My jeep had a squeak that drove me crazy and it no longer squeaks. I recently had my f-350 6.7 powerstroke diesel looked at by the team here and was very impressed with how amazing the service was. I told them what problems I was having and they did a full inspection of my truck calling me and informing me the whole way through the process. They did amazing work with fixing every problem I had. They informed me anytime they found something else and made sure I was aware if the price would change before doing anything. They thoroughly tested before and after making the repairs, and sent pictures of anything they found during the inspection. They did a very intensive repair for a fantastic price that was worth every bit of it. I now have a truck with zero leaks and looks brand new underneath for the first time in 5 years. I will be coming back every time I need anything done again for my trucks and will be referring them to everyone I know. We broke down a couple miles from Independent. Driving from a local equestrian campground going to alabama. the check engine light came on my boyfriend had a diagnostic computer with him and the code that showed up said to stop driving it. that it could involve the turbo. we googled the nearest repair shop, being pretty much in the middle of no where, were lucky enough to be only a couple miles from Independent. Now we live in Florida so going home with a bad turbo was not an option. Especially carrying 2 horses. Independent diagnosed the problem that was indeed the turbo, saying it could be very hard to find one right now. long story a little shorter, they located a turbo had it installed with in a week!! I have heard horror stories nowadays of people waiting months!! for parts. AJ and Adam were wonderfull, answered all our questions, very patient and understanding of our dilemma. They were extremely busy with other customers and still we felt truly like priority!! They also did a complete inspection of the truck and sent us home with a list of things that should be taken care of. I wish their shop was in FL!! I can not praise this shop enough.!! I needed to get my Terrain in for a fuel filter replacement. They were fantastic! Explained everything to me before and after and also recommended other services that I will need in the future. I have never be to a mechanic that was so detailed in what they did and what needed to happen. Person service is top notch!

Adam, AJ, Shad and all the people working there are great. Took my Duramax there after it broke down on me and they got me back up and running very quick. They also spotted a few areas that needed attention and talked me through it all step by step. Talked to me about items that needed to be fixed asap, items that was needing attention in the future and went through everything they found in great shape. Was able to schedule a repair on the items needing attention quick and they took care of them at a great cost.There program even sends a text message with a link that shows you everything they did to your vehicle all the way down to pictures of the vehicle, pictures of problem areas, pictures of good items they checked and even photos of tread wear.I m happy to say that I have found a company that cares as much about my vehicle as I do. This was the first time I used their service. I had been having a lot of problems with my 2016 Ram 1500. They were very nice about going through the truck and finding all the problems that needed to be addressed and letting me know what things needed to be taken care of asap. They also changed my oil and filter at a price the price that was quoted, which was the most inexpensive I had found so for. They are very knowledgeable. Please check them out before you take your car or truck to any other repair shop.Services: Carburetor cleaning, Auto brake repair, Auto emissions testing, Auto maintenance
