My transmission went out unexpectedly during driving, I towed it to them and within 3 days, my new transmission and cv axles were done and my car back home with me. Very satisfied with the speed and quality of work!

I have not needed their services in many years. However, several years ago they were a big help. I purchased a Silverado as my first truck, it was a lemon, to say the least. They rebuilt my transmission and I believe the transfer case. Walked me thru the impossible ordeal of installing a new TV cable a few months later and never had a problem answering questions. Good folks and I needed that back then, getting ripped off had already gotten old. It was expensive, but I put that truck thru hell, never had anymore drive train problem. Worked till the day I sold it. I highly recommend this place for any transmission problems.

Sidney and the team at Coleman Taylor were fantastic from start to finish with my transmission rebuild. I have an older model Toyota that limited our options for repair, but Sidney gave me three different scenarios we could pursue and we decided to go with a complete rebuild. Once the parts arrived, they had it rebuilt in a week. Although we had to wait on parts, Sidney and his team would call and keep my updated on the status pretty much every week. Well I went in thinking that i was going to have my fluid replaced in my transmission. I ended up with riding in just one gear(3rd gear).It was not all their fault someone else had a hand in its damaged state. The only thing that truly disturbed me was they didn't explain to me the possible problems and how critical it was so i could decide to go with it or hold off and use that $609 towards another transmission or even another vehicle. The reason that i give you an A+ grade is because a young mechanic came outside and explained the whole situation and even showed me how to handle driving in 1 gear He was very professional and gave me advice all in about 10-15 minutes. So in the end Coleman transmission will have my business when i am ready to have my transmission replaced. Thanks

These guys did great. I probably brought them a challenging job with a 35 year old Crown Vic, but they completely rebuilt it's transmission in about two weeks, (a little over their prediction of a week but old car means hard parts to source so no biggie) . They also kept me updated through the process. So if you're looking for reliable, professional transmission work. Coleman Taylor is the answer in Jackson.Service: Transmission

I did a online appointment the date & time I requested I got it they checked out my 05 Chevrolet Cavalier I was thinking it was my Transmission but it wasn't I had a axle seal leak they fixed my car right on up stuff was nice & friendly they kept me posted on what they had to replace & let me know the price up front Good Jod Colemen Taylor "Little Yellow Running Strong"

These people are all true professionals. I am not from the area. They worked so hard and so quickly I ve never seen such efficiency in any auto shop anywhere. The tow company they sent was also awesome. All of them are great people. The price was more than fair but the experience was phenomenal. Went in thinking I had transmission problems. I was immediately serviced. They ran the diagnostic tool and drove my car around to help figure out the issue. I had an engine problem and was referred to another shop down the road. Everyone was very helpful and friendly

My dad and I were coming through Jackson when the F450 lost the transmission in the process of moving. Called up Coleman Taylor and they got the tow truck to take us there. Best experience I have ever had with a shop. They repaired and rebuilt the transmission and had us on the road within 24 hours of breaking down. Helped us out a ton.

My transmission went out on my avalanche and they got me up and going in a reasonable time frame.. I dropped it off and a Friday and it was ready on Wednesday.....they found the reason for the failure ,fixed it and also found another issue I needed to tend to (motor mount ) and fixed that as well. I had to pay more than the quote for this of course but thats expected ... great job overall ..Very nice and professional..I'd highly recommended... I had heard bad things in the past and was a little worried but after dealing with them I don't believe the negative things I'd heard....overall great work. Thanks guys!!Service: Transmission

At first I gave them a 5 star. Unfortunately I had to return to their shop with the same issue that was not fixed the first time. I was not treated with the same good service. No communication, had my vehicle for over a month and at the last minute they called with other issues I had to pay for. Needless to say I will not be recommending them to anyone.

We took the Ranger in for what we thought was a destroyed transmission. Sid informed me THAT day that it was just a blown fuse. They stood behind their warranty and got the truck back to us quickly. My 2006 Saturn was not shifting properly. They were able to quickly diagnose the problem and give me an estimate on the needed repairs. I dropped my car off and they not only fixed it, they got it done much earlier than they originally thought they would. Very easy to work with. I called they gave me price over phone. They came and picked up vehicle for me. The process was very easy and seamless.
