And if I can leave a worse review, I most definitely would. I work in a shop myself, do my own oil changes, and all types of things so I know exactly what s going on with my car. With that being said, The guys worked on my transmission, my skid plate that s a super plastic darn near metal came off my vehicle, but somehow my fault that happened and they won t find a Skip plate for my vehicle. I know there s nothing that comes missing off of my car because I ll make sure that everything is done properly if I do my vehicle because I do my own oil changes and everything but just because I m a female they believe that they can play like I don t know what I m talking about. Instead of believing in your customers, and having the real custom service, he calls me a liar without even checking with his guys to make sure like he did. And asking Hey Did anyone happen to takeoff the wrong skid plate to have accidentally do this by any chance. Do not come here and get any service done. There s plenty of other places to go. Please shop around.

I appreciate Mr. Bill. He is honest and cares about giving truthful diagnosis. He doesn't make up things or find things wrong just for money. My transmission fluid was 2 quarts low and he filled it inexpensively. He is an asset to our community.

Had my 68rfe rebuilt and didn t last six months before started slipping and making noise I called him and he told me to keep driving it and see if it would stop and it didn t just got worse 6000$ down the drain plus another $800 to go have a transmission tune by one of his guys when it had one on it and didn t even tighten the front driveshaft bolts to the transfer case, slung the driveshaft

I could not say enough about Bill and his crew! During the hot Rod power tour 2022 I ran over something on the highway and busted my transmission pan and found myself in trouble out of town. I called The shop and got Bill and he clearly was the man for the job. When we arrived they had an open bay waiting and pushed the car in with a smile. The car having a 4L 80 E transmission in it I just knew it was going to be hard to find a pan for it but they had one fortunately. They quickly got the car in the air and immediately started working on it. Me, my family and friends were very thankful for the great fast service and getting us back on the road and keeping us on schedule. I was so grateful I offered to buy Bill and his crew lunch when he figured out my invoice and he and his crew told me it was too hot to eat and there was no bill. (no pun intended) Bill is such a hot rod fan and a great guy he would not accept any money. If you are in the Tennessee area I would highly recommend Bill s transmissions in Jackson Tennessee He s made of something this world needs more of! I wanted to leave an accurate review of my experience with Bills. I read other reviews and one said " just meet Bill and you will understand". I believe that says it all and I will agree. I'll also add more. First off I use another mechanic for most of my needs. My transmission was going out on my old truck and he highly recommended Bills. After talking to Bill I was automatically relaxed. His prices are as fair as possible considering how expensive parts are and how much labor is involved. He is very upfront, honest and holds to his word. There is a good reason he stays so busy. I'm happy with my last rebuild and I now bought another truck and sadly the transmission went out on it as well. So naturally I bought it back to Bills. He took time to sit and explain what was wrong and what all he will do to fix it. He is just an all around good guy who cares about his work and customers. It says a lot when a man puts his personal name on his business name. To me that says a lot.Service: Transmission

Bill is honest, professional, and very experienced. He replaced my transmission in one day, and he didn't charge me any extra for swapping my drive shaft(I of course paid for the part).

The guys at Bill's rock. I had taken my truck to three different shops to have a vibration fixed and each of them either made it worse or threw their hands up and gave me back the truck and said good luck.I went to Bill's and 4 days later I had my truck back and running as smooth as the day I got it. I can't thank you guys enough for the great work and very fair pricing.

No business in the world is incapable of making a mistake. It s how they handle a mistake that separates them. Bill is a stand up guy and I d use him again. We had a small hiccup and he was on it. I was making a journey from East TN to West TX when my torque converter decided to fail on me near Jackson, TN. I managed to two foot the car to Bill's transmissions after calling around a few places. His prices were the most reasonable even though I couldn't find a lot of reviews on his place. I told him I had very little time to make it to West TX for a job and I need the tranny rebuilt as soon as possible. I broke down on a Friday and they're closed on the weekend, but Bill said he'd have me out of there on Monday if they got all the parts in time. They did and they got me on the road as he said. They're an ATRA member so the year warranty is good across the country, which is a plus. All in all, i'm thankful I was able to get good, fast service from this place

Absolutely wonderful customer service, my husband and I were moving from one state to another and while going thru Tenn the transmission in our truck went out we found this place and dropped the truck off to be repaired, after we were moved and settled in we returned to get the truck. The owner is very understanding and will work with you, I would highly recommend this place to anyone and we live over 300 miles away

I was installing a clutch in my Jeep and came across a problem. I called mid afternoon on a Saturday and Bill himself answered the phone and was more than willing to give me a step by step instructions on what the solution to my problem was, even tho he didn't make a dime.
